I CAN NOT! Wait to see them tomorrow!!! Candlebox have SO MANY other good songs besides Far Behind BTW! "Blossom" is my fave though!!! :)

Candlebox Revisit 'Far Behind' and Memories From Back In the Day
Seattle rockers Candlebox have been cranking out tunes since 1991 (with the exception of a brief hiatus between 2000-2006). Their biggest hit so far was 1994's "Far Behind" from the band's self-titled debut record. Buzznet caught up with Candlebox to talk about the success of the song and the creative process behind it.

Buzznet: "Far Behind" is still played on the radio daily. When you wrote the song, did you have any idea that it would be the Candlebox song that put you on the map?
Candlebox: I think we all knew we had something special but I don't think we thought it would be "the one" that people remembered us for.
Buzznet: What was the writing process like behind "Far Behind." Did the song take awhile to come together or was it completed in one day?
Candlebox: It was the first day that we had Bardi [Martin] down to try out for the band as a bassist. He brought the melody line in with him and we all started jamming on it. An hour later the song was in it's formed stage and all we had to do was some arranging and I had to write the lyrics. Pretty simple really.

Buzznet: Why do you think "Far Behind" has stood the test of time in the rock music world?
Candlebox: I haven't the slightest, just thankful that it has.
Buzznet: It's been 15 years since "Far Behind" was released. Looking back on the song, is there anything you would have added/changed to it?
Candlebox: Not a thing, I think the song is perfect as it is.
Buzznet: What was the best cover of "Far Behind" you had ever heard? What made it so special?
Candlebox: I haven't really heard one. I know there are some YouTube videos out there of other bands/people doing the song but I haven't seen one that just knocks me on my ass. I would love to hear someone do it in the most unsuspected way ... something really cool ... I don't know... maybe like Bob Marley or Johnny Cash.
Candlebox released their fourth full-length, Into the Sun, earlier this month and the band is currently on a full U.S. tour.
