Paramore Sell 'More' Than 1 Million Copies of RIOT!, Express Appreciation to Fans
Paramore's 2007 full-length RIOT! has officially gone platinum ... meaning that over 1 million people may all be blasting "Misery Business" in their cars at the very same time. The band has delivered a thank you speech via the Internet.
"Platinum has always felt like an unreachable goal for us … so we have our fans to thank for making platinum happen. It's a dream come true. Thanks for always being there! Love you guys," the band exclaimed on their official Web site. RIOT! was released in June 2007 and launched the singles "Misery Business," "Crushcrushcrush" and "That's What You Get."
It was revealed earlier this week that Hayley Williams will be a playable character in the popular video game "Guitar Hero: World Tour" (due late October).
Paramore will be on tour all summer. Check them out and see why over 1 million people just can't get enough of them.

its kinda sad that there All We know Is Falling album didnt get this much attention. its such a good album. personally, i think its 10x better than Riot! but thats just my opinion.
