Joel Madden's daughter is finally going to have someone to play with ... Good Charlotte guitarist Billy Martin has announced that his wife of six months is pregnant.



"We bought a pregnancy test without even stressing or sweating. She went to take it, I sat down at my desk, and two minutes later she came out and said, 'I'm pregnant!' All the sound in the world stopped for a minute. I was shocked – but excited," Martin told People Magazine. While the news of wife Linzi's pregnancy just hit the mainstream, on September 4th, Martin revealed in his person blog that the couple had actually found out the big news months ago (I wonder how far along she is).

It's no secret that Martin, who also runs clothing company Level 27 with best friend Steve Sievers, is a huge fun of art, horror and Disney (I've personally been inside his house which has a Haunted Mansion theme throughout), so it's only fitting that Martin and Linzi are planning to design a Disney-themed bedroom for their first child.

"If it's a girl, maybe more Alice-based, and if it's a boy, more Mad Hatter and Cheshire Cat. We're not going to do anything dark and spooky that's going to scare the baby. We want a lighter, happier version," Martin explained. Between touring, making music and writing/illustrating a children's book, Damious McDreary: A Boy and his Bat (due late 2009), Martin has a lot on his plate with a baby on the way. Lucikly, Madden has been giving him some very important advice to keep him calm. "Joel says it's going to change my whole world, but fatherhood is the best thing that ever happened to him. He tells me not to stress out, and to try to take everything in stride and enjoy it because it's the coolest thing that can happen to you," declared Martin.
