can't stop, won't stop. i must be dreaming!

sorry its been so long since the last update. some what busy and caught up.
the past week was pretty good, Monday was okay, i started school again,UGH, I'm still not used to waking up and 6 am i don't think I'll ever be. i ended up making up a solo dance for my dance elective Sunday night thinking it was due Monday.. nope it was due Wednesday, doesn't matter i still got a good grade and i danced to Hey Monday's 'Candles' :). the rest of the week was pretty chill having a good time with my friends and getting back into the swing of school again. then i had a great little surprise Thursday, i decided i would eat lunch with my best friends and crush, turns out i now have a boyfriend, (we've been talking for quite some time now) from that crush.

all week ive had the maine and forever the sickest kids in my head, along with every avenue and their guitarist jimmie deeghan, whose working on his solo project. music is a daily part of my life, i leave my house listening to my ipod and get home listening to my ipod as well. school sucks tho they confiscate ipod and electronics so nothing until im on my way home.>=P.  unless my teachers cool about letting us listen to music as long as we do our work :D

so saturday along with haning out with my brother and his girlfrined we went to a tattoo convention, it was pretty cool. when i got home my mother literally inspected me for piercings and tattoos, as much as i want both not yet, when im 18 my brother and i are getting our brother/sister tattoo's. so sunday her we come and hopefully i have a great week ahead of me.

how was your week? and your weekend?
what are you faveorite bands?
and how do you feel about piercings and tattoo's?

Crayola Rockers - Introduction

Okay, Kendra has a new project! But first, a little backstory!

The other day Jen (sitdownforthis) and I were in my driveway discussing our friend Jimmie (guitarrist of Every Avenue). This is about the direction that our conversation headed:

Me: "Jimmie isn't the brightest crayon in the box"
Jen: "He's bright, but he's just ... hardly there? He's like the hot pink nub!"
Me: "Yeah. ... ... But I see him as more of an electric blue."
Jen: "His hair was blue once, I guess that works"
Me: "Well, I was thinking more along the lines of his eyes... and then I thought about it and he just screams electric blue to me. ... ... ... Gabe would be purple."
Jen: "Electric purple."

Then we proceeded to discuss a few other boys and what color we'd associate with them... and the ideas for my new project started to mold themselves into a shape of something radical. Since the whole conversation started with crayons, I'm going to use Crayola's 120 core colors as my basis and - in alphabetical order - I'm going to be assigning a rocker to each color and (hopefully) explaining why I see them in that color.

You don't have to agree. But I hope you get as much of a kick reading the Crayola Rocker articles as I do coming up with and writing them!

Imagine... opening this box and seeing face after face of musicians instead of a bunch of sharp (or dull) crayons! Maybe once this series is done, that's exactly what you'll do!
