The Cure Enraged About Overpriced EP: 'It's Not a F---ing album!'

The Cure singer Robert Smith is very pissed at iTunes for charging people £7.99 in the U.K. for the band's Hypnagogic States EP online.



"It's not a f---ing album! It's a 5 track EP," Smith wrote to iTunes (and publicly published on the band's web site). "Who the f--- is going to pay this and not feel totally ripped off? This is so totally wrong." Smith urges us to only purchase States once it becomes available online for £4.00 or less. "It's fab and the money (well our share of it!) is going to a good cause ..."

Hypnagogic States features remixes of four songs from the band's upcoming 13th full-length, 4:13 Dream (due on October 28), by Jared Leto, Jade Puget, Gerard Way, Pete Wentz & Patrick Stump, and more.
