featured Art Saves Lives.
Yes, it certainly does.
A work in progress, I'm a bit stuck in the middle with it. However, I keep this little clipping I found in a magazine from about 10 years ago on the door to my bedroom. It's just right dead center of a bare white door. I thought it was both truthful and somehow vague, but I loved it. It somewhat reminds me of the cover of The Battle of Los Angeles by Rage Against The Machine.
I could go into stories of why this little magazine of art means so much to me, but I think it speaks for itself. As far as the piece goes, it's a new approach: a first with watercolor pencils. We'll see where it leads me to when its finished. Sometimes the work I do is completely planned, and other times it feels almost channeled. Maybe that sounds strange but it's almost as if the art already exists, but I'm merely the means of which it comes to life through. That's part of the beauty of creativity.
