American Idol is a touchy subject.
You never know how people are going to react when you talk about American Idol with them. It could be like this:
You: "You know I really hate Lil, she's just so.. unoriginal."
Friend: "You're joking right? Honestly?! Alright I'm leaving, where are my keys?.. Psh.. Unoriginal.. Your wallpaper is unoriginal."
Orrr.. It could go down like this:
You: "You know I really hate Lil, she's just so.. unoriginal."
Friend: "Oh my God, I know. You totally right."
Well.. Good thing I don't really care what my friends think!
I hate how Simon says "Little" when he is referring to Lil. My mom is convinced that he doesn't know that her name is Lillian, that he actually thinks her stage name is Lil' Rounds. I think he knows it's not, he just takes it rather far.
I absolutely hate Allison, she can't sing. Week after week they tell her she can, and that's what makes me think the competition is rigged, because the last three weeks her songs have started out horrible. Groggy, nasty, and shaky, and they tell her she is brilliant. She makes me nervous. She makes me want to clear my throat.
This is not surprising but, I love Adam. He continually does amazing performances, especially the one he just did 5 minutes ago. His stage presence is haunting and scary, but his natural character just makes me smile. He's an amazing singer, he shows range personality, and amazing vocals. He's going to win.
I bet it will be between Adam and Allison in the end.
I feel like they are just keeping Matt around for no reason. I don't dislike him, but honestly I didn't know who he was until this week. He falls back into the shadows and I don't know who he is. His singing just doesn't wow me. And Simon just agreed with me.
Are you watching American Idol tonight?

This picture above, of course, minus a few.
Wow. Anoop was just like "The LiiiiIIIiiiIIIIIIIIIiiiiiiieeeghts" :-/ Obviously the judges tuned out on that part, they all gave him great reviews.
