Noel Chapter 16

I was released from the hospital last night.

It was now the morning. I didn't sleep much everything was bothering me, but two things were othering me the most.

1) I couldn't stand to think that I had really cheated on Alex. I loved him so much and cared about him. He was right he was always there for me and so was everyone else.

2) What Alex had said to me at the hospital echoed through my head. He was right I should be happy for my mom. But I do need to tell her how I feel but I am happy for her and completely supportive of their marriage.

I looked over at the clock it read 8:30 I decided to go make a big breakfast for him.

I made waffles, pancakes with a nice fruit smoothie to go with it.

Soon Alex came down just as I finished.

"Mmm something smells good babe" He said wrapping his arms around my waist giving me a soft kiss on the cheek.

"Yeah I decided to make breakfast."

"Thanks baby"

He went and sat down at the table I brought him his plate and smoothie.

I made me a plate and sat down.

"So what you had said to me last night at thhe hospital really did open my eyes. It got me thinking......alot."

"Babe. You know it's nothing personal well it sorta is, but anyway I just wanted to get it out that everything can't always have to be about you. You don't always get what you want. Plus you should be happy for her." He said stuffing his muth with waffles.

"I am happy for her." I looked to see him witha mouthful of waffles.

I continued." Haha anyways I was thinking we should invite them for lunch since I know you guys have a concert tonight. I just wanna get to know him before I make any jugdements. Oh and Alex please stop your going to choke. haha"

He looked up at me and attempted to talk with a mouthful "youm makesh shum ghudd waffllss."

"hah your a mess boy. "

"Hey thats why you like me."

I called my mom after we were done and ased her if she wanted to come they said yeah.

About an hour later we went out to the local diner to eat.

They were inseperable. She looked so happy with him. He was actually pretty cool he loved music and turns out he has a few kids to but their usually with their mom. He said he even had a son around our age.

He even knew how to play many instruments.

We finished easting and said bye.

When me and Alex got home we watched Home alone and Aladdin then got ready for the concert.

On our way there he seemed nervous.

"So I now know that she's safe with him he's colol and I do like him."

"see I told you"

We pulled up to the coffeeshop where they usually play every weekend. Before they went up I gave him a good luck kissed.

Their set was good as usual. Kara and me danced and singed along to the songs.

They played Party Scene, then he dedicated Noel to me, Circles, and then they wrapped it up with Let it Roll.

I couldn't wait for them to get big they deserved it they always work hard on their music.

Alex started walking my direction but then turned to talk to a guy they talked for a minute then shaked hands.

Alex ran up to me picked me up spun me around then gave me a big sweaty kiss.

I screamed" Ahh. Alex! Put me down!"

"Ha you know you love my sweaty kisses."

"Ha yeah their the best."

We all got all of the equipment loaded it up in the van and we were all of to Alex's house for a small band party.

We ended up at one point playing beeer-pong.

It was me and Kara against Alex and Rian of course we dominated.

After a few more laughs, drinks and games

Alex said that he had an announcement.

"So you know Hopeless Records right? Well last week I had a meeting with them and they said that they were interested so I told them to come to tonights show. They did and they said we're going to get signed!"
"Are you serious?!" Everyone screamed

I jumped into Alex's arms congratulating him.

I knew this was the big break they were waiting for they were going to be the next big band.

"That's not all guys. We get to go on Warped Tour this summer We leave next weekend!"

Jack Zack and Rian went crazy.

"Dude I've always dreamed of playing at Warped!" Jack screamed in a 5 year old voice.

He started jumping around acting like his childish monkey self.

Me and Kara congratulated all of them.

Now we all just gotta pack.

kinda boring but i promise its going to get good again in the next chapter or so.

Noel Chap 11

A few months have now passed.

JUnior year was starting to come to an end.

Me and Alex had been going out for almost 7 months.

It was the last week of school.

Me and Alex had just got home from the pep rally just as we were about to make dinner the phone rang

"Alex it's your turn"

Tax and weird sales calls had been calling us lately so we've been taking turns answering and cussing them out

                                                                   Alex's P.O.V.

"Alex it's your turn."

Ughhhhh I hate sales calls.

"Hello?"

"HI I'm Janelle from the local rehab Is Miss Noel there?"

"She's busy at the moment whats going on is her mom okay?"

"her mom checked out last week and we've been trying to contact her do you have any idea where she may be?"

"no we don't she hasn't talked to us since about a week and a half ago."

"Well ok, if she calls you or if you find anything out please call me back on this number. Night."

We have to find her mom.

I told her everything and she freaked but wasn't that worried she said her mom is ok and that she'll probably call tomorrow or soon.

                                             Noel P.O.V.

Tonight the guys had a end of the year gig at the coffee shop.

Alex and I got ready and then left.

The crowd was great he seemed extra nervous for some reason I wasn't sure why though.

                                           Alex P.O.V.

I was nervous out of my skin.

I knew that a guy from Hopeless Records was coming out to see us play and possibly sign us.

I didn't tell the guys because I didn't want them to be nervous and plus I wasn't sure if the guy was going to come or not.

Finally it was showtime. I looked out in the crowd and it turned out he did show up. The set was awesome and we had a full house.

After the show was over I found the guy from Hopeless Records. He said that we were great and wanted to have ameeting with me tomorrow night.

                              Next Night*

Noel thought I was out for getting end of the year prank supplies but really I was meeting up with the Hopeless records guy. None of the guys knew either, but if the meeting went well I would tell them tonight at the party.

                                  3 hours later*

The meeting went well.

He said that he wants to meet the rest of the band so we made another appointment. I couldn't wait to tell the guys and Noel at the party tonight. I got in the car and drove to Jack's where the party was.

                                 Noel's P.O.V.

It was the end of the year party.

I was completely shit faced.

"JACKkkkkkkkkkk! Come here my lil barakittenn"

"Noel haha your shit faced! haha I am too. haha"

"Hah yeah Inooooo." my words all slurred.

"Hey how bout we grab a few bottles and go somewhere else."

"okk."

                                       Alex's P.O.V.

I finally got to Jack's house. there was loud music blasting and drunk people everywhere.

I walked in and looked for Noel. No one knew where she was so I grabbed a drink real quick then went to go use the bathroom.

The light was off and the door was shut so I didn't bother knocking or anything.

I wish I had never opened the door.

Uh ohh. i hear drama.

so tell me what you think.

All Time Low No Longer Signed To Hopeless Records?

Oh rumors rumors and more rumors. Is All Time Low signed to Interscope Records? According to this video, Alex Gaskarth confirms that they are. Nothing Personal is still and will be on Hopeless Records. The next record will be released on Interscope.

Source

Anyone else notice that there are only 2 comments and not that many views? You would think that there would be thousands of comments. Some defending their favorite band saying that they aren't selling out and others saying"LYK ZOMG ATL R BECOMING S3LL 0UT$!!!"

"Good Charlotte's Benji Madden told Billboard the group is shooting for a fall release for its next Epic album. Expect "more straightforward rock, maybe taking it back to our first or second record," he said. Madden is especially psyched for the song "Love Ain't Easy," which he promises is "really catchy. We love the catchy hooks." Good Charlotte may tour later this year with new Interscope band All Time Low, whose frontman, Alex Garskath, joined Madden on the red carpet." (Source)

I checked the artists under Interscope and All Time Low wasn't listed..? Some say they are selling out. Others disagree. I think that people confuse the terms selling out and becoming more popular/maintstream. As long as the bad stays in it for the passion for music and don't become consumed with money and fame, they aren't selling out. I'm not necessarily saying that All Time Low are or aren't selling out.

What do you think of the different record label? Is All Time Low becoming a sell out?

My Thoughts After REading AP's Article About Nothing Personal

All Time Low have proven time and time again that they can write well, both musically and lyrically. So hearing that every track is co-wrote makes me a little upset. I have not heard the new album but I do have it pre-ordered and I am looking forward to it. While So Wrong, It's Right was not a very diverse album, it was solid. The lyric mesh well with the lyrics to the point of drum beats and guitar build up matching the heart beats of the 'characters' in the song (listen to Remembering Sunday, you'll hear it). Weightless was a great, uplifting, relatable song that seemed to get fans excited to jump on board for the new album. Damned If I Do Ya (Damned If I Don't) got mixed reviews however, and while having a diverse album is great, and could really show the range that I know they have, it very easily could hurt them. Be honest with yourself, you don't want another Party Scene or So Wrong, It's Right; you already know those albums and love them, so a second one would just kill everything. New is great, new is what you expect from a young band. They are still growing as people and as musicians, hell I'm pretty sure Alex is still going through puberty, naturally this causes an shift in music. If every song is co-written, how much of that change is them and how much is the producer? I would rather wait another two or three months and get an All Time Low album then get an All Time Low, plus Producer A, plus Producer B, plus Producer C album. If this is the working of the record label or the band, we will probably never know, but it this is label pressure, then that untitled song they were playing on the Sell Outs tour, deserves to be on this album. It may have been the only true, honest ATL song on there. We, as a fan community, have heard the lyrics the Alexander William Gaskarth has written, and we have fallen in love with them. We have heard the voice that he possesses. We have heard the amazing ability to put chords, which in some cases could never work, together that Jack Barakat has. We have felt the bass lines pump through our chests like heartbeat that connects us to Zack Merrick. We have all at some point air-drummed along with the amazing Rian Dawson. I don't know about everyone else but I expect a band to build on what they have released, and release something bigger and better. But what if I heard Matt Squire's take on that and not Alex's or Jack's or any one in the bands? Don't get me wrong I love Matt Squire, he is an idol of mine, but I bought Nothing Personal to hear the evolution of those four guys, not Matt. The article left me weary about a new album, and a little scared for it. Hopefully, it won't disappoint, but I guess I'll have to wait and see.

ALL TIME LOW IS LIFELESS BUT TIMELESS ----- to be sung to the tune of "Shameless"

THIS IS MY CONTEST ENTRY FOR ALL TIME LOW'S TOY STORY CONTEST.
IT'S WRITTEN TO BE SUNG TO THE TUNE OF “SHAMELSS” BY ALL TIME LOW.

Lips drawn and eyes wide
Like statues these dolls don’t move
No hugs or high fives
But I'm still playing
Giant heads and some underwear
With the cankles and retired hair
They’re showing off
Without a flaw
It's ON!

Buy one, get one (Whoa oh! Whoa oh!)
The dresser of your own bedroom
Displayed within a small glass tomb, just
Placed there to see
Ignore the two inch vinyl
And remember who they are

Tiny figurines are here
To keep All Time Low so near
And obsession more obvious

Jack’s got a weiner
Tucked in his painted undies
Rian’s not smiling
And Zack’s hair looks teased
Like a jam without its jar
Alex lacks his pink guitar
No one has any ears

Buy one, get one (Whoa oh! Whoa oh!)
The dresser of your own bedroom
Displayed within a small glass tomb, just
Placed there to see
Ignore the two inch vinyl
And remember who they are

Tiny figurines are here
To keep All Time Low so near
And obsession more obvious, I confess
No longer pressed for their time
I’ve got them caught in their prime
All Time Low is timeless
But lifeless. (x3)
