Heidi Klum Blog and Journals

Can I just say how happy I am with the way the show ended. I've loved Christian since the beginning- he's got such a higher fashion angle than the show usually takes (more in line with America's Next Top Model status, which, by the way, was also awesome tonight- but that's for another journal later). I think it's adorable that the past two years, the winners have been so down-and-out broke and now they've come into this money to help turn their lives around. Jeffree was one of my favorite designers ever, and I think that Christian is right up there with him.

I also loved Jillian's collection. Her grey dress reminded me of Betsey Johnson (I'm obsessed, I know)- and I'd wear that and the blue short one in a heartbeat. Rami's collection didn't thrill me; I did enjoy the woven gown and the skill involved is fantastic. Victoria Beckham judging, smiling about Christian's show, and saying how she wanted his clothes, was just the icing on the cake. A comment so small by such a huge person in the industry can honestly make him huge. I hope the best for him and his career, I'm sure he'll do fantastically no matter what he does.

Oh, and the raw emotion- Tim almost cried at the last "gather round", and Christian had tears in his eyes and was TREMBLING before they said that he won. It made the show just so much more heartfelt.
