December 29, 2009Ask Business Travelers For Security IdeasAsk Business Travelers For Security Ideas WHEN there is trouble, it sometimes makes sense to listen to the experts. By that I mean hard-core business travelers. I've been hearing from a lot of them since that nasty business on a Detroit-bound flight from Amsterdam on Christmas Day for Sony VGP-BPS2C. Most said the same thing: it's a mistake to overreact to one incident by ratcheting up security to the point where normal travel is further discouraged. Get some perspective, they said. The one who said it best was Douglas J. Engmann, the president of Engmann Options, a financial services firm in San Francisco, who says he flies about 200,000 miles a year like A1175 battery . He contends that stricter security screening ordered by the Transportation Security Administration will do little or nothing to shield the air travel system from terrorism and do a lot to discourage business travelers from going on the road."I was frustrated to read about what I saw as a knee-jerk reaction," he said. The T.S.A. ordered more thorough screenings of passengers and their belongings, including more physical pat-downs. On international flights to the United States like HP battery, passengers can expect to be screened at the gate. The T.S.A. initially reacted by banning passengers on international flights into the United States from getting out of their seats or having any access to personal belongings for an hour before arrival time. But on Monday, the agency eased those restrictions, leaving such measures to the discretion of a flight's captain. Frequent fliers say they understand that a fast, hard tightening of security may be justifiable while the authorities determine whether there is a wider plot. "Right away, you lower the boom," Mr. Engmann said. But adding more disruption to the security process would be a mistake, he said. "It's not that we don't adjust for Acer laptop battery. Business travelers are accustomed to knowing the rules and making do with them," he said. "Yet right now, you have to wonder about the balance between totally inconveniencing the traveling public versus what is the threat." Kevin Mitchell, the chairman of the Business Travel Coalition, said that "security lines lengthened literally overnight" at airports after the stricter measures were put into place for Inspiron E1505 battery. He said that "extra screening will be a hassle, especially for time-sensitive business travelers."Obviously, the debate about effective security and antiterrorism intelligence will continue for some time. So let's step back and look for some advice from experts like Mr. Engmann.Once the T.S.A. does get a permanent director and a firmer footing, how about asking business travelers to join serious discussions on "how things are really working for Apple battery , and what can be done?" he suggested. "I go through, what, 150 T.S.A. checkpoints a year? People like us, we notice things," he said. "If you think about it, we're also the ones who are most at risk, because we're flying the most for Compaq laptop battery. So we're not ones who want to make it easy for a terrorist to get on an airplane. On the other hand, we're the ones who have the most experience at going through the checkpoints and observing."(battery blog)

December 28, 2009I'm A Troublemaker, Never Been A FakerHi <3 It's 9 AM, and I'm up listening to Weezer. The song "Troublemaker" wakes me up, for some reason, baha! I hope that all of you had a wonderful Christmas! I did! It was awkward, though, mixed with joy and sadness. It would of been perfect, if daddy would have been here. If you want to see what I got, go to my "Christmas 2009" album, I took pics! Also, I made my first blog. It went okay, but it was very blurry. I don't know why. Sorry for the bad quality. Then, the next day, I made another one. This one was about the same quality, but it was WAY longer. Maybe 5-6 mins. But, I've been trying to upload it, and it won't work. I don't know why. This is my last full week of Christmas Break :(. I have all of this week, and then monday of next week. I love school, and I love to learn, but I dread going back. That is because I have gym/health. Health won't be hard for me, because all it consists of is bookwork, and I'm a nerd, and I love to study. But, gym will be hard, b/c I'm obese and out of shape. I don't think that it is fair that you can be graded against little sticks. I've never made a B in my life, and I'm not about to let that go. Let alone, I've never made lower than a 97%... but I'll take a low A in this even! Yesterday: I went to church, and then I went to yet another Christmas. I have ate so much, it is not even funny. Ironic, I'm gaining weight, and then as soon as I go back to school, I'll be in gym.. that'll make it even worse. Day before yesterday: I went to my sister's house, and play pool, and checkers. I love pool, but I'm not very good. I own at checkers though :) until later, I will go Love- JacobxX

December 3, 2009An apple a day.
-Everything in modesty: Don't cut out anything from your diet; you'll just crave it more. Instead, maintain equally-balanced helpings of EVERYTHING, maybe even trying things you don't necessarily like. Personally? As long as I have one thing from every food group per day, I feel "healthier", in my terms. -Laugh: Laughter truly is the best medicine. The world is so serious, and as you get older, it only gets worse. Find the little moments to smile about, center yourself around people who make you happy. It entirely changed your mindset, your mood, and your will to better yourself when you're content. -Walk: I am not a fan of gyms. In fact, I'm not even a fan of anything that could potentially make me sweaty (typical girl, I know). But walking is so liberating. Don't rely on a car or bus if you don't have to; walk places. You'll see more of the world, and feel more accomplished when going places. Even better, take a friend with you; the talks that neighborhood meandering can cause to occur are truly enlightening and deep. -Don't weigh yourself: Defining yourself by a number is stressful. And when that number isn't exactly what you want it to be, it's a huge determent from continuing with your regimen. This personally isn't about weight for me; rather, it's about FEELING better, healthier, and more capable. At one time, though, I struggled with my weight (as most girls do at some point or another), and during that time, the most heart-breaking event was weighing myself, and not seeing the "progress" I'd hoped for. -Water: There's a reason our bodies are mainly comprised of it. It's WONDERFUL for you, and helps to rid your body of toxins that clog pores, make you tired, and ultimately put a damper on your happiness. I understand some (if not most) cities' tap water is disgusting, so invest in a water filtering system instead; it's worth the money. I am in no way, shape, or form a doctor. My word is not necessarily backed up by scientific research, it's solely based on my personal experience with what makes ME feel better. Simply put, I'm just trying to promote personal health in a world where it's so easy to get caught up in stress, junk food, binge eating, and couch-potato-ing, where the consequences of your choices aren't realized until a much later date when you go into cardiac arrest due to an artery clogged with fat. Which, I admit, is dramatic, but still scary. How would you reform your life to make it healthier and/or what tips can you add to this list to live a healthy life?

November 26, 2009Electric VehiclesElectric Vehicles A group of environmental activists and car engineers want to prove that available technology in electric-powered vehicles makes environmentally responsible motoring not only possible, but also preferable.Members of the group set out from Tokyo for a 310 mile journey to the city of Osaka. The goal was to complete the trip without having to recharge the Dell GK479 battery . Battery maintenance has been a hot topic for laptop users, but in fact that many errors inside the final analysis, comes from two aspects, one is like apple a1175 "thinking does not keep pace with nickel-metal hydride batteries to lithium battery change", another one is more Funny, is derived from mobile phones because mobile phones are in fact the majority of users the first exposure to the repeated use of rechargeable battery devices, and would therefore be taken for granted some of the customary extension of a mobile phone to the notebook body. November 14, 2009I Should Have A Radio Station.so new moon comes out next week. excited is a massive understatement although i thought i was obsessed until i found out Nicole had the board game... i'm expecting a lot from New Moon, as much as i loved twilight the acting wasn't great, the cast have done various movies in between so i'm hoping they will have improved. Also the books have now went from a fascinating read to a guilty pleasure the lines of which i could quote for ages.
my excitement is some what watered down by the epic failure that is my dads laptop, it has all my stuff on it, music, photos etc and i lay awake at night terrified it's gonna crash and i will lose everything for the 4th time in a row.
ah what to do what to do
everyone is out tonight, i would be but my serious lack of funds means i cant even bus it to Julia's and have no way of getting home
sake my mum bought these real spicy rice crackers from the health food shop and now my mouth is on fire!!!!! the playback on the epic fail isn't working so i cant even listen to my itunes
agh
well in under three months i'll be 18 and can legally drown my sorrows. hasta luego
xx
