Harrison Ford Blog and Journals

This past Saturday UCLA's Pauley Pavilion played host to this year's 'slime-a-licious' Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards hosted by Jack Black. The rumblings and screams coming from the doors of the 12,000-seater stadium were deafening! I was on campus to attend the after-party with the niece and nephew. I watched the awards after getting home (thanks to TIVO) and I have to agree they were the slimiest ever! It was especially stunning to see Harrison Ford get majorly slimed in a skit with Shia LaBeouf. Harrison, who is in his 60's now, must be one of the oldest stars ever to get slimed. Well, the kids in the audience loved it but sadly, the younger "Indiana Jones" co-star Shia stayed slime-free! What gives?

Some of the winners for the movies category of the night were gracious enough to actually show up and collect their awards on stage. The winners included:

Favorite Movie Actor: Johnny Depp; Favorite Movie Actress: Jessica Alba; Favorite Movie: Alvin and the Chipmunks;
Favorite Animated Movie: Ratatouille; Favorite Voice in an Animated Movie: Eddie Murphy, Shrek the Third. For a complete list of winners go here.

Oh, and if you were wondering if Drake Bell took home any awards last Saturday, he not only one for Favorite TV Actor, he also took home the prize with Josh Peck for Favorite TV show! Congrats Drake! (You can read my chat with him from last week here.)
