I came home from uni when my sister asked me to ensure that she had read correctly that Gerard and Lyn-Z Way's baby girl was indeed named Bandit Lee Way, and I confirmed it, she burst out laughing...I was curious and wondering why on earth did my sister just asked me stuff about Gerard Way 'cause she had never been a fan of MCR. I went upstairs to her room to see what's up and I found that she came across accidentally to a website with this year's most unusual celebrity baby names and Bandit Lee Way came 9th.

Celebrities have set a high bar when it comes to wince-worthy baby names. Who could forget classics like Moxie Crimefighter (daughter of Penn and Emily Jillette) and Kal-El (son of Nicholas and Alice Kim Cage)? This year is no less memorable than years past, when it comes to our stars and the blazing baby trails they leave in their wake. Some first-timers welcomed in their babies by giving them a name to remember (Echo Hexum). Others added to their already attention-getting clan: Erykah Badu, mother of Puma and Seven has added Mars to the triumvirate, while Chef Jamie Oliver, father of Poppy Honey and Daisy Boo, added to his whimsical genetic treasure chest a daughter named Petal Blossom Rainbow. But there’s more, so much more.

Here’s our list of the most unusual celebrity baby names for 2009.

1. Mars Merkaba Daughter of Erykah Badu and Jay Electronica. After tweeting through her labor (Mars was delivered by a midwife born at home with no drugs) Badu sent out a message on Twitter that she was going to name her new daughter Twitty Milk. That did not happen, but Mars Merkaba did. Though Badu hasn’t discussed the name’s origin, “Mars,” in addition to being a planet, is the Roman god of war, and “Merkaba” is Hebrew for “stone-chariot of god.” Arrange those meanings as you will.
2.Petal Blossom Rainbow Oliver Daughter of Chef Jamie Oliver and his wife, Jools. No explanation of the name was given, but considering her sisters’ names are Poppy Honey and Daisy Boo, we’re guessing he’s just sticking with the whole Naked Chef/natural/garden theme.

3. Sparrow James Midnight Madden Son of Nicole Richie and Joel Madden. There seems to be a code to break when it comes to Nicole and Joel’s kids. Their daughter, Harlow Kate Winter Madden was born in January, the middle of winter, hence, the second to last name. Sparrow was born in the middle of the night, so we’ve got the Midnight part down. The rest of the code -- specifically, “Sparrow” -- we’re still working on breaking.

 4. Ikhyd Edgar Arular Bronfman Son of Rapper M.I.A. (real name Mathangi Maya Arulpragasam) and musician Benjamin Bronfman (aka Benjamin Brewer). Ikhyd was one of the biggest hot-button names of the year, because when first announced by M.I.A., the general public thought she was naming her boy Ickitt. She addressed the media through her blog, “MY BABY IS NOT CALLED ICKITT, PICKIT OR LICKIT THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO ALL THE HOLLYWOOD PRESS. HES A BABY, HE DONT NEED PRESS!” She did not give any hints to the meaning of Ikhyd, but “Arular” is the code name her political activist father adopted for himself while fighting for the Tamil Tigers in Sri Lanka, as well as the title of her debut album. “Edgar” is his paternal grandfather’s name (Edgar Bronfman Jr., who is CEO of Warner Music Group).

5. Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa Son of Lilakoi Moon (aka Lisa Bonet) and boyfriend Jason Momoa. Momoa explained the Hawaiian origin in a forum on his official fan site, jasonmomoa.com: “He was born on the stormest, rainy night. so Nakoa(warrior)...Mana(strength/spirit) Kaua(rain) po(dark)...”

6. Java Kumala Holloway Daughter of “Lost” star Josh Holloway and his wife, Yessica Kumala. Yessica was born in Jakarta, Indonesia, which is located on the island, Java.

7. Dreavyn Kingslee Son of Billy Martin (Good Charlotte) and Linzi. No word on its origin, and when it comes to the Social Security Administration’s list of most popular baby names (www.ssa.gov) perhaps not surprisingly Dreavyn doesn’t have an entry.

8. Atlas Heche Tupper Son of Anne Heche and James Tupper. In Greek mythology, Atlas was a Titan who bore the weight of the heavens on his shoulders. He joins his older brother, 7-year-old Homer, in a classical-friendly household.

9. Bandit Lee Way Daughter of Gerard Way (of My Chemical Romance) and wife Lin-Z (of Mindless Self Indulgence). No explanation was given and this one’s just a little too out there for us to even speculate.

10. Gunnar Flowers Son of Brandon Flowers (The Killers) and his wife, Tana. Flowers said that he wanted a tough name for his child that “combats against Flowers.”

Worth Mentioning Though not as far out as the above set, these names still made our list for most unusual this year.

1. Stella Luna, daughter of Ellen Pompeo (Grey’s Anatomy) and husband, Chris Ivery.

2. Echo Hexum, daughter of Nick Hexum (311) and his wife, Nikki.

3. Lou Sulola Samuel, daughter of Heidi Klum and Seal.

4. Blaise Ray, son of Amanda Beard (Olympic swimmer) and her husband and fellow swimmer, Sacha Brown.

5. Bardot Vita Boreanaz, daughter of actors David Boreanaz and Jaime Bergman.

6. West Flynn, daughter of Marley Shelton and Beau Flynn.

7. Roman Stylianos Gianopoulos and Adele Georgiana Gianopoulos, twins (boy and girl, respectively) born to Molly Ringwald and her husband, Panio Gianopoulos.

8. Goldie Priya, daughter of Ione Skye and Ben Lee.

9. Jett Hamilton, son of Jill Scott and Lil John Roberts.

10. Seraphina Rose Elizabeth, daughter of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner.

Oh rumors rumors and more rumors. Is All Time Low signed to Interscope Records? According to this video, Alex Gaskarth confirms that they are. Nothing Personal is still and will be on Hopeless Records. The next record will be released on Interscope.

Anyone else notice that there are only 2 comments and not that many views? You would think that there would be thousands of comments. Some defending their favorite band saying that they aren't selling out and others saying"LYK ZOMG ATL R BECOMING S3LL 0UT$!!!"

"Good Charlotte's Benji Madden told Billboard the group is shooting for a fall release for its next Epic album. Expect "more straightforward rock, maybe taking it back to our first or second record," he said. Madden is especially psyched for the song "Love Ain't Easy," which he promises is "really catchy. We love the catchy hooks." Good Charlotte may tour later this year with new Interscope band All Time Low, whose frontman, Alex Garskath, joined Madden on the red carpet." (Source)

I checked the artists under Interscope and All Time Low wasn't listed..? Some say they are selling out. Others disagree. I think that people confuse the terms selling out and becoming more popular/maintstream. As long as the bad stays in it for the passion for music and don't become consumed with money and fame, they aren't selling out. I'm not necessarily saying that All Time Low are or aren't selling out.

And as far as "fanfics or stories" go. I only read Gemma's, Rain's, Beth's and Charlotte's. It's been like that since last summer. And their has been a few other peoples here and there that I have read their journals out of boredom. But yeah over all that's all I've been using this site for.

I was stood at the front of the buzzing crowd infront of the barrier, with my girls. This was so awesome. The lights went down and the screams went up. Tokio Hotel were finally on.

Damn, did Bill look hot, well it wasnt his falut.

Tokio Hotel are one of my fave bands. Their songs are amazing, they really relate to the fans.

I know this is going to be the best gig ever.

Through-out the entire gig, I couldnt stop looking at Bill. Damn, I really wouldn't mind someone like him as a boyfriend, or even himself.

The gig seemed to go really fast, 2 hours seemed like 10 minutes.

The crowd left the stadium, I had the best buzzing feeling ever and I was aching. I didn't care, it was woth it.

3 Months Later - Sunday Afternoon

I past a flyer that was stuck on the noticeboard of a photography studio.

'Ladies, think you have what it takes to be the next model for one of the hottest bands on th list?,

I stood there in amazement. 'Oh my god, I will so have to do that'. I noted it down that TH were on Wedensday. This is going to be so cool.

3 Days Later - Wedensday - 11am

I entered the doors and into the studio. I looked around. There were so many girls here, they were all so pretty. I stood no chance.

I made my way over to an empty seat.

Soon after the promotor spoke to us.

"Right girls, time is on your side today. You will each be split into 10 groups of 10 to do your portfolio. We will monotor your ferformance and the group who impresses us the most, will get to model with the band. Then and only then, will they pick their model".

Screams and cheers filled the room. This was so exciting.

We were split into the groups.

I looked at the girls in the other groups. They were so fake. I looked at the girls in my group. They were real. Wearing things like TH tops, tattoos, piercings, etc.

We made our way over to our photographer.

7 Hours Later - 7pm

The last flash went off and that was the shoot for our portfolio finished.

We all gathered back nto the ventre of the room, staying in our groups.

"Well done girls, we are all so impressed with each group, it made it so hard to pick a group, but, after careful thinking, we have decided that the lucky girls to model with Tokio Hotel are...".

He paused for a minute, god this suspence was killing me.

"Are gruop number... four".

I nearly died, that was my group.

We all screamed and hugged each other.

"Congratulations girls, you will be modeling with the guys in 3 weeks time".

We hugged each other more.

I couldn't believe this was happening to me. It felt like it was all a dream.

3 Weeks Later - 6am

I walked throught the studio doors with a cup of coffee. Damn, I hate mornings, I'm not a morning person.

I took a seat and found out more aboutmy shoot.

I would be doing a few frames with the band themselves, then each member.

This was going to be so cool. I was up last. I had to wait for ages but it was well worth it.

8 Hours Later - 2pm

They called my name and I stood up, making my way to the shoot.

The band one went awesomly. So did the individual ones. I couldn't believe I got to touch Bill. I mean i had to control myself around him.

After the shoot, I sat with the other girls. They were going to anounce who the winner was, I know it isn't me.

"Well, we have looked at both your portfolio and the frames that were took today. There was one girl who stood out the most, even the band has agreed. The lucky girl is...".

I hate it when he does this.

"The lucky girl is... Shanna".

I just froze. 'Oh my god'.

The other girl ran over to me and hugged me. They all congratulated me.

I couldn't believe this is happening to me.

4 Months Later - The Park

This was great. Modeling has opened up many doors for me. I have been modeling for bands like PaPa Roach adn Avenged Sevenfold.

Tokio Hotel have been my main cilents.

These past 4 months have been so great.

What made it better is Bill asked me to be him girl and I galdly accepted.

We were sitting in the park, on a bench.

He had been acting weird lately.

"Babe, are you alright?" I asked him. "Yeah, I'm fine. I just need to do something".

Bill turned ato face me.

"Shanna, when I first saw you, I thought you were the prettiest girl around".

I blushed at this.

"And I still think you are. It was love at first sight. You make me feel whole again. So will you do me the honour of..." he said standing up.

"Being my wife>" he asked me going down onto one knee and opening the box he had to reveal a ring.

I gasped and nodded my head.

Bill smiled and put the ontomy finger, then he stood up and pulled me up to him, pulling me into a passionate kiss.

1 Year Later - Wedding

"You may kiss the bride" was all I heard before bill pulled me to him and locked out lips together.

I couldn't believe it, nearly 2 years ago I was just a fan and this was my dream that I knew was enevr going to happen. How wrong I was.

It has finally happened and I couldn't believe it.

We pulled apart and smiled at each other while everybody cheered.

Bill picked me up and carried me down the aisle.

I rested against his chest and sighed in happinedd,

We got into the limo and made our way to the reception.

I guess people are right.

Love at first sight can last a lifetime.

Debuted in 2000....Well it's been almost 10 years since we've been putting up with Good Charlotte.Aw,I'm just kdding it's been awesome havin Good Charlotte here for these past almost 10 years.I think they're an awesome,underestimated band.They are a band that have this really unique sound with really special and uncommon vocals.But I want to share my opinion about Good Charlotte's 2007 album " Good Morning Revival " ,I don't want to get off track ( lol ),so let's get start.

 

                        I remember liking Good Charlotte from an early age,way back in 2002 when they let out " Lifestyles Of The Rich & The Famous ".We'd always watch the video on VH1,MTV or TRL.And as the years passed they slowly disappeared from the charts.They had a 2004 album out that I don't know did well or not but over the years they seemed to vanish.Until they arrose from the shadows in early 2007 with they're new song " The River " that featered M.Shadows,the lead vocalist from the hard rock band Avenged Sevenfold.I loved the song and it seemed to be doing very well on the charts then in March 27,2007 they released their fourth album entitled " Good Morning Revival ".Everyone was surprised at the new sound of the band.A band that was once punk and ruthless was now a sortive alternative/rock/pop band and they took everyone for a ride with their new modern,2007 cd.I didn't get it on that day but actually sometime last year and I want to share my thoughts and opinions about it.I'm going to list every song on the album and then tell,beneath,the song what the song means to me,what I think of it and everything.Let's start....

1.Good Morning Revival

*It's just a short,instrumental kind of thing.I think that it's a great intro for the cd.I really liked it.

 

2.Misery

*I really like this song,alot ! It's a great song.It speaks about the fakeness of Hollywood and always being surrounded by sorry or unhappiness.It really spoke to me.It had a great,rock,kinda pop melody and beat,I really liked it !

 

2.The River ( Ft.M.Shadows Of Avenged Sevenfold )

*Really love this song ! One of my favorite songs on the album.Not only does this take me back to early 2007 but it has a great beat,well-put-together lyrics and a wonderdul/pop melody !

 

3.Dance Florr Anthem

*GREAT song ! Great song for a party,something to dance too.I just absolutely love the song.It's awesome.Great vocals,GREAT/AWESOME beat and one-of-a kind melody ! One of my favorites!

 

4.Keep Your Hands Off My Girl

*I didn't really like this song.It's not a bad it's just,I don't know,okay.From 1 to 5 I'd rate it a 2 and a half.I like the way he has his voice though,that's cool but it's not a bad song.

 

5.Victims Of Love

*One of the many best songs on the album.It reminds me of my dance music ( Ian Van Dahl,Iio,4 Strings ) so i was drawn to it quickly.It had an awesome melody and nice lyrics.Rockin' chorus and I just love his voice! From 1 to 5 I'd rate it a 5.

 

6.Where Would We Be

*Well I listented to Where Would We Be Now by them on www.imeem.com and it said that it's on an album called Greatest Remixes and I LOVEDDDD it,so much ! It sounds just like one of my dance music songs.I rate it a 5 !

 

7.Break Apart Her Heart

*AWESOME SONG! LOVE LOVE LOVE this song! It's my most favorite on the album and I could listen to it for HOURS! You go check it out.It has this great beat,vocals,lyrics,melody....great everything!

 

8.All Black

*It's a one of the most coolest songs on the album.Has a unique harmony,rockin vereses,a great chorus and nice vocals.It's about us one's that love wearing all black clothing!

 

9.A Beautiful Place

*Aw such a cute song! From 1 to 5,if I had to rate it I'd rate it a 10 ! Yes,it's a great song.Sounds similar to Madonna's Hung Up/Sorry.

 

10.Something Else

*It's a rockin' song ! Truly,I'm not just saying that either.I'm a very picky music lover ( haha).I'd rate it a 3 out of 5.

 

11.Broken Hearts Parade

*It's a pretty good single.It's kinda punky/kindy dancey/kinda alternative....it's cool.

 

12.March On

*A great song to end the album ! I realy,really love this one.It's slow,soft,cute,sweet....just a very awesome song.Another favorite off the album!

 

 

 

                         That's it.That's all 12 songs off " Good Morning Revival ".For those who have the album hope you liked my opinions or whatever and for those of you who know nothing about the album.....Uh WHAT ARE YOU WAITIN FOR ?!!!!! Go to www.playlist.com or www.imeem.com or www.myspace.com or even www.youtube.com and check out some of these songs! Nearly all of them rocked.But do not take my word for it,listen for yourself this was a great album,I think.I rade it a A-.I think Good Charlotte are experimenting with a new sound and style for that music and so far it's going great ! I love the switch and really appreciate their hard rock towards the album.I can't wait for their next album to come out.I have a feeling it's going to be good.
