Just watched the new B. Spears video.

And just about tossed my cookies.

I wonder how much makeup she has covering that cottage cheese?

And I can't imagine what that pole is feeling right now... And if it could think, it would probably be thinking something along the lines of:

'Damn, THAT was the WRONG person to get drunk with...'

OOPS!... IT’S BRITNEY SPEARS

MTV sold through the whole week the most expected comeback …a live performance by Mrs. Britney Spears. Someone notorious for arranging a unique show for every VMA since the moment MTV fans notice her, what happen tonight was a complete disappointment. She looked bored; there wasn’t anything there that reminded us of that artist we used to love. Particularly heartbreaking because for the big fans and the media waiting for something huge out of her that was a weak presentation, combined with a bad performance and a HORRIBLE LIP SYNC ACT. Common Brit, you are like the MASTER of this technique there’s no excuse for what happened. Through the whole routine there was no emotion on her face, she wasn’t happy to be there, her dancing was flat, the outfit didn’t help her at all because she didn’t looked sexy at all and let’s not forget the fried hair. Britney has always position herself as a great dancer and entertainer, and that was missing tonight. For all the fans and people hoping that she came back as the pop star that was once on top of the world it was a very hard moment to watch.

I guess we can all rest knowing that the magazines and the press weren’t lying to us about her well been. Tonight there wasn’t a better proof to the public that the cute girl from Kentwood, Louisiana that we all love was over. Where did Britney go? What happen’ girl? I’m extremely disappointed that MTV gave the honors to open the show with something like that. Did anyone saw the rehearsal and notice that it was going to be bad? Well I guess that we all have to wait and see if JIVE Records will give her another chance to clean up the mess or they will give up and do what Columbia Records did to Mariah Carey after her meltdown on 2002.

But not everything turned out a big let down; on the right side of the world were musicians and artist love what they do and are content with their jobs… Chris Brown, ROCK THE SHOW!! That was a hell of a performance, nothing about that was dreadful at all; even Justin Timberlake admitted that there was some new talent out there taking over the music. I’m not a huge Hip-Hop fan but that was incredible, good entertainment from beginning to end. He did lip sync but just for the sake of dancing. Britney should’ve stayed and catch Chris do his work, that’s how you do it girl!! Another great performance came from Alicia Keys with her new single, let’s not forget Linkin Park up there in the club Rain, no lip syncing there, very proud for not going with it and also Mark Ronson who kept the audience rocking with Akon, Adam Levine (Maroon 5), and others. That’s a live performance!! Hate to see the word “LIVE” during a show that doesn’t command to the artists they invite to stick to it. Last but not least the closing act with Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado, Keri Hilson and Timbaland what a great combo and quite a display for the fans. Thank you guys for rescuing the bad entrance with a hell of an exit. Now that’s what I’m talking about!!!

The whole VMA wasn’t one of my favorites; the people that came to Vegas to watch the show are the lucky ones. For the people at home it was dreadful, in other words we didn’t saw the performances from Fall Out Boy, Foo Fighters, Gym Class Heroes, Kanye West and whatever was going on in the Justin and Timbaland suite.

The clips were to short too enjoy and it wasn’t fair to see everyone there having a blast with the life performances and for us it was only a brief tease. The performances are what the fans crave, in my case that would’ve made my night. It’s so irritating because every time I started to enjoy all the musicians and their duets someone decided that it was time to go to commercial, I mean all the suites were full of surprises that we weren’t able to fully enjoy. The real deal was shut down for commercials, I know they pay the bills but at least manage to arrange the show so we could watch those acts too. The whole presentation is supposed to be different from all the boring award shows out there, but to not to let fans enjoy the music. Oh no you didn’t!!! The VMA’s can compile such amount of madness, generally speaking, just search for the Tommy Lee and Kid Rock circus over Pamela Anderson that went out during the commercials…

As a closing to my profound column (and that’s because I have never took the time to write about something like I did tonight) I have to, drum roll please, give the biggest and most important award of the night to MR. Justin Timberlake. For reminding MTV that is a Music Television and Not a Reality TV Channel. Now people, LOL, because the ridiculous thing about it was that every time they went to commercials all they announced was The Hills, Celebrity Rap Superstar, Real World: Sydney, Life Of Ryan, Newport Harbor, A Shot of Love with Tila Tequila, Pageant Place and the life of some rock star girl (that I can’t even remember the name right now). Oh My God!! More and more of that crap is taking over the TV. Helloooo did anyone listen to Justin, he just point it out people!! I can’t believe what MTV is doing. Why MTV, Why?? The most hilarious thing about it is that while Justin mentions “play more videos no more reality”, the girls from The Hills are behind him. But to add up to the annoyance most of the shows they announced are new, I guess there’s not enough of it on MTV already. I was at home shouting, Got the message!! But wait here comes the commercials again about…reality shows. So frustrating (pulling my hair)!! I guess my feelings and a few others that share the same thoughts towards reality TV are pointless, because MTV wants reality and they are going to give it to us regardless. For us is as simple as a click on the remote to go to another channel. KEEP LOSING THE MUSIC FANS!!

That’s all VMA’s for tonight…Thanks for getting so far.

P.S. I’ll love to hear your feedback on all MTV and of course the article; you can be brutally honest about my writing. I want to know how bad I am or what do I need to improve.

Britney Spears' new song.

IT'S BRITNEY, BITCH.

Omg, I love that.

It's good to see Brit finally attempting to make a comeback.

If only if only.

Well, props to Britney for having a successful new song.

-yawns- I always thought she could pull through.

Who knows, she'll probably do something crazy and be on the f list again soon.

^.^
