They smelled like cigarettes, colgene, and spearmint gum. I looked up and saw Frank with a blank expression on his face. Where we were going I don't know and I didn't feel like asking. I closed my eyelids and drifted off to sleep.

Hours Later

I woke up to the sound of heavy breathing on my neck in a bed in a room  with white walls and a Pantera, Nirvana, Green Day, Sublime, Papa Roach and many more posters on almost every inch of the room. I stood up and saw Frank sleeping in a soilder position. I smiled and looked for my phone and when I found it I pressed the unlock button and saw Mikey and I as my wallpaper. *Sigh...I went to my pictures and deleted it and replaced it with a pcture of Frank sleeping, I chuckled a little and went to my text. 4 unread messages...

Mikey: U make it home? 6:15pm

Gerard: Your food's cold! 5:34pm

Mom: Can you babysit Dane while I'm away I don't trust him! LOL :) TODAY

Ray: Guitar Riffs. You. Me. And our guitar's at my house. This is not avoidable. TODAY

I first responded to Mikey's...and I kepy hesitating with what I was going to say...then I wrote I and-

"I what?" I voice said from behind me. I wiped my head around and saw Frank sitting behind me. I closed my phone.

" I nothing..." I laughed nervously.

"Give me the phone..." He gave me a giving gesture. I handed him the phone and he lit it on fire with a lighter he had on his nightstand. I watched in awe as the ashes sat on his bed. Frank blew at the smoke rising from the shes and walked out of the bed in his smiley boxers. I followed him out the room.

"What's on the menu Jana?" He said smiling

"I don't know. How come you came and picked me up?" I asked questionly

"Well, I was coming to visit you, but you were on the ground, so I picked you up and took you to my place." He patted my shoulders as he walked in his kitchen opening the freezer and putting some Ego waffles in a red toaster. He turned around and starting cooking some bacon. Once it was finished he put it on a plate and took the waffles out and put them on the plate and handed it to me.

 

"Bon Appetite!" he said. I didn't get it. He was so nice. I stared at him with the plate in my hands. Frank rolled his eyes and grasped my head in my hand.

"You are so werid...and..." he stopped in mid sentence and kissed my forehead. I pulled away.

"What?"
"Nothing..." Frank walked away and jumped into the shower. While he was in the shower I sat on his bed and fingered pictures of him and the band and one of me and him. An abrput cough came up and I saw Frank towel drying his hair and him with a towel and him with one wrapped around his waist.

It should be illegal to be this tempting.

It should be so right to love him.

It should feel great to have butterflies in my stomach.

But it didn't feel right. Tears rushed down my face and I covered my face and shook with unhuman insanity. Frank dropped his towel and ran over to me scooping me in his arms and murming soothing things to me. When I gained self-control I looked up at him and he brushed my hair out of my face.

"You're okay. I would never do something like that."

"Frank-"

"Mikey isn't a bad person. He's my best friend. He's just confused on what he wants, give him time."

"Ooo-ok." Then silence became an aura that was too much to bear. I looked up at Frank again and he shrugged his shoulders staring at me. Then he moved a finger to my lips tracing it's outline and then moving his hand to my neck. Frank leaned down and planted several kisses on my neck then slowly moving his lips to mine, pressing them to mine. A kiss like this never was so good.

Cassadee.

I was comforting Mikey on his bed and the poor boy wouldn't stop crying. I hugged him tight and let him cry on my shoulder and Alex came in, glowing a little with drinks in her hands

"I know you don't drink but tea will keep you warm" she said setting it down on the table and Mikey sat up and she frowned and gave him a hug

"we're gonna clean up so, just stay here" she said softly and gave him a kiss on the cheek and walked out

"have some tea bubba" I said crawling over him and grabbing a cup and handed it to him and he took a sip

"eugh" he said and I smiled a little "it'll calm you down"

he put it back on the tray and sighed and looked at me and I sat on his lap and smiled at him

"you're beautiful" he said and put his arms around me

"thank you" I said "you are too"

he smiled a little "I'm a boy"

"I'm aware" I said picking up my cup and drinking out of it

 

Alex.

We were cleaning up and Gerard was with his dad. I picked up bits of glass and broken antiques which made me quite sad. I just about finished up in the living room when I turned and noticed a piece of paper I missed and picked it up, it was folded and I opened it

"hi Alex"  I read in my head and stared in confusion, and then suddenly more words appeared

"you're next"

this had to be some sort of Harry Potter shit. I freaked out and ripped it up and went right to the trash and dumped everything in my hands and turned and Ray was there and I screamed and he was spooked

"sorry"

"no, it's my fault" I said

"are you okay?" he smiled and I nodded "it's been a long day"

he gave me a cuddle

"Nicole is cleaning my room so she can find my secrets" he said

"that's sweet" I smiled

"yeah... especially when she doesn't know that I know this" he smiled

oh crap, he could read minds. I tried to imagine Nicole cleaning his room and then Frank came down and picked up and apple and put the whole thing in his mouth while me and Ray watched

"show off" Ray rolled his eyes and walked out of the room

"well, I was impressed" I smiled and Frank gave me a hug

"Bob and I are gonna go shopping, you should come as our new sister" he smiled

"er, we'll see" I said and Bob came into the scene with mascara on

"hey Alex do you have make up remover?" he asked and I laughed "at home"

"oh... I need help" he said rubbing his eye

"don't rub it!" I squealed and ran to him with a tissue and rubbing it in water and dabbing it on him with Frank watching carefully

"if you rub it off too hard, your eyelashes will come off" I said like I was demonstrating and got most of it off

I cleaned up Gerards room and the bottom of the window was smashed letting the cold come through. I picked up the shattered glass and put it in the bin and saw Gerard coming down the hall looking at his feet and he stopped and looked at me and gave me a nice smile

"if he okay?" I asked and he nodded and went into his room and I followed and he sighed and laid out on his bed

"can't believe she's gone" he said putting his hands on his forehead and I frowned a little and pulled off the covers and got inside them even though he was on them

"are you cold?" he asked and I nodded and he saw the window and got up

"I thought you were a vampire" he said in a humourous tone

"well I'm tired, sleepy and hormonal still" I said "lucky you"

he laughed to himself and covered up the hole and came back but under the covers this time and hugged me

"do you feel any different?" he asked

"nope" I said

"your skin is toned" he said gently touching my thigh

"I guess" I shrugged a little "listen, I'm really tired it's been a big night"

he nodded "I understand"

I kissed the side of his neck and fell asleep.

When I woke up I felt amazing and Gerard was staring at me

"never known a vampire that can sleep for 6 hours" he said in fascination

I stretched and pulled myself closer to his chest and he put his arm around me and rubbed his face into my hair and I smiled and someone walked in and Gerard popped his head up

"hey William" he said and suddenly I felt someone coming onto the bed and turned a little to see him sitting on me

"good morning" he said giving me a nod and I didn't know what to say and just looked at Gerard

"hey off my girlfriend Beckett" he smiled and sat up

"just thought I'd join you" William said with his hand on my thigh

"did you tell her?" Gerard asked and William sighed "no. she's with him still"

Gerard frowned a little and I had no idea who they're talking about

"now he's a vamp, my plans are ruined" William said

"she'll come around" Gerard said

"am I crushing you sweetheart?" William asked bending over and smiling

"no" I smiled a little

"my human mom called me today, she said I need to start eating" he said and rolled his eyes "and she thinks I'm a fag, I mean, hello. look at me"

Gerard laughed "no you're quite the opposite. Remember the blood party?"

William grinned "shush. Alex doesn't need to know" he said and patted my head

"William kissed 12 girls within the first 4 hours of the party" Gerard said and I looked at him

"really?"

"well I do love the ladies" he said "I have a charm"

I smiled and sat up and he re-arranged himself and sat on my legs

"so, what'd you kids get upto? sex?"he asked

"not quite" Gerard said

"you can do it right now, I don't mind" he said looking at his finger nails

"you're insane" I said and he looked at me "thank you. so what are you kids doing today?"

"oh shit I gotta go home and dye my hair" I said getting up and William fell onto the ground

"sorry!" I said picking him up "I'm going"

"that's okay, I can fill in" William said getting into the bed with him and I scratched my head

"okay then, goodnight!" I smiled and walked out into the hall and Tilde was outside with Bob building something in the backyard.

I walked home by myself and still felt cold, uneasy. Was something going to kill me on purpose? I thought it didn't work that way?

I got home and my foster parents weren't home but I called them anyway to let them know I was still 'alive.'

My foster parents were just my guardians, they didn't love me or anything. They just gave me shelter and food. I went to my roomand blasted my ipod speakers and went to the bathroom putting a towel around my neck and dyed my hair and rinsed it out.

I had some time to myself and watched movies, did my hair and just took a break. I ate some chocolate which made me happy. I thought about Gerard and then my phone rang.

"hello?" I said but there was no one on the other end, then there was deep breathing and I hung up a little red in the face

"what the fuck is going on" I whispered

Cassadee.

I took a nap and heard a tap on the door and woke up and saw Mikey come in and shut the door behind him and I sat up

"Mikey!" I smiled and he cuddled me on the bed

"is it really bad?" I asked and he sat on the bed properly looking at me "the people that are after Caitlin and Marissa are here now"

"oh I see" I said

"we converted the boys into vampires now because we're gonna need all the help we can get" he said

"well, what about me?" I asked pointing to myself

"I don't know" he sighed "I don't know if you should"

"but I wanna help" I said

"I know that" he smiled and stroked my cheek "but it's so dangerous"

"I don't wanna be alone here while those people are around, what if they come and get me?" I frowned

"true" he said "this is such a hard decision"

"I'm scared" I said quietly and he nodded and gave me a hug

"would you be able to convert me?" I asked and he looked at me

"I'd rather not. I'm not that great at it" he said

"I don't care, as long as you try" I said playing with his hair

"you're insane" he smiled and kissed my cheek

"I'm serious" I said "I want you to do it"

"no Cass" he said

"please?" I said quietly

"I don't trust myself Cassadee" he said

"I do" I said

"maybe we should just leave you human" he said and I frowned

 

Alex.

he came back and explained everything.

"convert me then" I said but he shook his head

we started battling each other because I tried to get my hand into his mouth to take the moulds off, it looked wrong in so many ways and then we both fell onto the ground and I was ontop

"Alex, no" he said holding onto my wrists and sitting up

"why won't you do it? you said there wasn't much time left" I said

"mom or dad have to do it, not me" he said "you'll have a greater chance of surviving"

"if I die, then I die knowing that i knew someone as special as you" I said

"I don't want you to leave me like Marissa did" he said "Alex, please"

I sighed "fine, let's go to yours"

I got dressed and we got in the car when Gerard got a message

"shit" he said

"what is it?" I asked

"we cant go home, they're there. Everyone bolted" he said and I felt a cold inside my body

"where do we go then?" I asked

"I dont know" he said "the opposite direction"

so we sped off and I called Cassadee who was just about freaking out, but she was alright. we met up with her and Mikey and I hugged her tight

"nothing will happen until it's night time" Mikey said and Gerard nodded "everyone split up into different groups and areas"

 

Marissa.

We were all running and the bitch scratched into my arm but I kicked her off me and eventually lost her. The mark on my arm looked ugly, which made me a little upset. William was with me but I had no idea where Brendon went, I was hoping that he was okay.

We hid in a high tree and William rubbed my arm

"does it hurt?" he asked

"only when her fricken claws were in there" I said looking at it

"it'll heal eventually" he said and I nodded

We saw the two running under us and we watched closely and tried not to move or fall out of the tree. They both said something to each other and then continued running and were out of sight

"we gotta kill them" I said to William who was texting

"I know" he said "we have to wait til nightfall"

We all went back to the house and it was trashed. Things were everywhere including lots of markings

"MY PLAYSTATION!" Frank cried out and hugged it's remains

"it's okay" Liana said rubbing his back

"where's the humans?" Nicole asked

"I assume they're on their way" I said and hugged Brendon

Bob and Ray started collecting weapons and handing them out to everyone and finally everyone was in the house

"it's getting close to nightfall" Mrs Way said taking off her moulds and everyone else did the same

"why arent the girls converted yet?" I asked Gerard

"I'm not ready for the change yet" he said and I rolled my eyes

"THEY'RE GOING TO GET KILLED" I yelled

"they need to be protected Gerard" his dad said and all of a sudden the house was shaking

"FUCK." Tilde said

"it's time" Ray said and Mr and Mrs Way both went outside and I took a deep breath and everyone else ran outside too, well, almost everyone.

"Gerard you need to convert me right now" Alex said

"Gerard, you have to" I said

"I.. I can't do it" he said

"you don't need your mother to hold your hand anymore" I said and he looked at me

"I don't care if you still love me" I said and Alexs eyes widened "WHAT?"

"no, Alex..." I said

"okay, I'd rather die than let you touch me" she said and Gerard tried to hold onto her

"Alex you cannot die" I said trying to help him hold her still but she struggled

"this is for your own good" I said

"Alex, if I die, I love you" Cassadee said as Mikey held onto her

"Cassadee don't you dare" Alex said

"I don't want to get killed, and if I do, I'd rather be half dead than fully alive and in pain" she said and looked at Mikey

"are you sure?" he asked and she nodded and he moved her hair away from her neck and I watched him bite her and she made a noise of discomfort and passed out but Mikey held onto her tightly so she wouldn't fall onto the floor.

he rested her on the couch but Alex was still being difficult

"you don't understand that of course he still loves me, you can't just remove someone completely of your life and not have some sort of feelings" I said and she was crying

"Gerard loves you. I can see it everytime he looks at you. I told you I liked Brendon now" I said and Gerard hugged her

"it'll be okay" he said and she was whimpering as he moved her hair from her neck and bit her and she zoned out and I caught her before she fell

"shit, she tastes good" Gerard said wiping his mouth and the noises outside sounded horrific

"damn, we gotta speed this up" he said

"i'll go help" I said getting up

"wait" he said "thank you"

I smiled and ran outside and there was blood everywhere. The man and woman seemed to be winning at this point and then the woman saw me

"thanks for the fucking mark, bitch!" I yelled and then she came for me and I grabbed her by the hair and pinned her down and she clawed me again and I punched her hard

 

Mikey.

Cassadee woke up and sat up eyes wide

"am I okay?" she asked and I smiled "you're perfect"

she looked out the window "we better go help"

I nodded and looked at Gerard who was still looking at Alex who was still unconcious before we both ran out and mom was on the ground looking lifeless

"MOM!" I said running to her and heard Cassadee scream and turned to see the man got her

I looked at mom and at everyone else attacking the girl and others trying to get Cassadee back and ran back to her and she looked frightened but the guy wouldnt let go as people were attacking him

"I can kill him, but she's in the way or I might get her too" Frank said and I tried to pull her off him but his grip was too strong

she gasped and looked like she was in pain, he was going to crush her ribs

while he was trying to fight off the boys I went behind him and jumped and kicked him in the back and he stumbled forward and Cassadee sounded like she couldnt breathe. I did it again and Frank stuck a dagger into his shoulder and he shouted in pain and Cassadee fell to the ground.

I ran around and pulled out my knife and stuck it through his heart and he stumbled and his reactions were slower, I pulled Cassadee up before he could fall on her and she looked really pale, she was knocked out again. I laid her down with mom and helped fight the girl who was ripping bits of Marissas hair out. She was squirming so much that no one could stab her yet

"EVERYONE HOLD HER DOWN" I yelled and so they did and Marissa was free and got up and Brendon started stabbing her in the back repeatedly and she was screaming in agonising pain and blood was everywhere

I felt relieved but then I noticed Travis, Pete and Patrick were on the ground and helped them all up. Pete didn't move but the other two did

"oh my god" Caitlin said and ran over "Pete?"

I lifted him up and put him beside Cassadee and Caitlin was crying and I hugged her and we watched the man and woman slowly vanish.

We carried everyone inside and Gerard was crying

"is she alright?" I asked but she was still lying there

"I screwed it" he said "I know I screwed it!"

Marissa and Bob tried to calm him down and I looked at Cassadee

"They all need blood" I said

"we'll go get some" Ray said taking Nicole and Tilde with him

when they came back I picked Cassadee up so that she was sitting up and tried to pour the blood into her mouth but some was dripping onto her shirt

everyone was helping mom, Pete, Patrick and Travis by doing the same thing but dad was in too much shock. he sat on his chair eyes wide just looking at his wife

Cassadee hiccuped and blood came back out of her mouth and she coughed violently and I was relieved as she opened her eyes and looked at her shirt and screamed

"it's okay, that's not your blood" I said

"Mikey" she sighed and hugged me and I hugged her back

"wait what about.." she said turning around and looked at Alex still on the couch

"we don't know yet" I said and she kept staring

Patrick and Travis were okay but Pete and mom were still down

"Pete!" Cassadee said and crawled over beside him

"Pete?" she repeated and slapped his face

"oh no, no this isn't happening" she said "not my brother and my best friend, no"

she started tearing up and I went and hugged her and took her to my trashed bedroom where she was shaking.

 

Gerard.

Pete woke up but needed alot of medical attention and I kept staring at Alex. If she were dead, she'd vanish, but she hasnt yet so I didn't know what was going on. I gave her some blood and she moved and I gasped

"Alex?" I said and her eyes opened slowly and she looked around and sat up

"oh thank god" I whispered and hugged her

"I want orange juice" she said in a tired tone

"okay, anything you want" I said

"Gerard" Frank said and I looked at him and a mark appeared on my moms wrist, meaning she had died

my dad was crying and everyone went and supported him

"what?" Alex said quietly looking at me "she's gone?"

I nodded and hung my head and she hugged me tight and I rubbed her back. I took Alex to see Cassadee who gasped and got up and jumped and hugged her

"Petes fine too" I smiled a little

"oh thank gosh!" Cassadee smiled and I pulled Mikey aside to mom and showed him her wrist and he cried and I hugged him with tears in my eyes

"we'll have a nice ceremony for her" I said and he nodded

Dad gave her a kiss and she started to fade away. It was hard to watch but everyone had their time to leave this earth for good.

I quickly wrote this in an hour because Liana made me.

but yes, a very controversial chapter with uncertain moments, but i didnt wanna make it that alot of people died.

Alex.

I took some time to talk to Marissa, she was a really nice girl and she apologised for everything. She told me she liked Brendon and didn't hate our human-vampire relationship and respected it instead.

That evening I took everyone back to the house and Cassadee looked at me

"I should probably go home, havent been there in a while" she said

"Pete?" I said

"he can stay" she said

"i'll come stay at yours" I said as Nicole jumped out of the car and shut the door and Gerard came outside

"Alex!" he smiled and poked his head through the window and smiled at me

"hey" I smiled a little bit and gently kissed his cheek "Cassadee wants to go home"

"is something wrong?" he frowned

"no" Cass smiled "just haven't been there in a while"

"I got a better idea" he said going back inside and coming out with Mikey and getting in the car

"take Alex home and then you can spend the night with lover boy" Gerard smiled

I sighed and looked at Cassadee "sorry"

"it's cool" she smiled and started driving to my place and I gave her a peck on he cheek and got out of the car and Mikey took my place and shut the door and Gerard held my hand. No one was home so I let myself in and Gerard shut the door behind him and locked it

"I wanna go have a shower" I said and he started kissing along my neck subtley

"can I come?" he asked

"no" I said quietly and smiled and pulled his head off me and we walked to my room and I pulled out some clothes and turned around and he was right there

"make it quick" he frowned

"calm down, you don't sleep anyway" I said "and don't blink your way into the shower"

he frowned even more

"watch tv til I come back" I smiled and quickly ran to the shower and shut the door

surprisingly, I did not see him once until I dried my hair and went back into my room and he was lying on my bed watching American Idol and looking at me with a smile and I laid beside him and he suddenly rolled onto me and we started kissing

"you smell pretty" he said

"thanks" I smiled "did you just want sex?"

he shook his head "just wanted some alone time"

we kissed more passionately and I got butterflies in my chest, I loved Gerard.

"I'm considering changing my mind" he said and I laughed quietly "whatever you want, just don't hurt me"

We got under the sheets mucking around and he took his shirt off messing up his hair and he started unbuttoning my flannel shirt, because I thought I was going to go to bed, I wasn't wearing a bra or anything underneath.

We started to have sex, and it felt alot better this time. It was slow, it didn't hurt and I was happy with him. Of course he didn't sleep and I felt really tired, I put my shirt back on unbuttoned but I felt a little less insecure this way. Gerard was naked all over with his uncommon warmth on me.

I had a few things on my mind but sleep beat me to it.

I woke up and Gerard was watching me and he leaned closer and held onto me tighter

"it's cold" I complained and buttoned up my shirt with him watching me

"sorry" he said and I smiled

"Ray called me, I need to get back to the house" he said

"..are you gonna do a runner on me?" I said a little nervous

"no, he just needs to talk to me and the brothers, it sounded urgent" he said

"oh okay" I said and he gave me a kiss

"i'll come back right after" he said getting up and putting his clothes on and looking at me

"I love you" he said and I nodded and he walked around and sat on my side of the bed

"are you okay?" he asked and I nodded "go, Ray needs you"

he nodded and got up and left

I sat on my bed wondering if he would really do something like that. Sleep with me and then vanish and I'd never see him again and my heart would be left shattered and broken. I'm guessing Cassadee's going through the same thing.

 

Cassadee.

"I guess it's serious" I said and he nodded

"will you be back?" I asked sitting up

"honestly? I don't know. I'll let you know what's going on, if it's really bad we might have to go there and then, we can't risk your life" he said and tears started coming out of my eyes and he picked me up out of bed and hugged me tight

"I love you Cassadee" he said quietly "I want you to know how I really feel about you"

I looked at him "really?"

he nodded "you kinda make me feel alive"

I smiled a little and he gave me a kiss

"I love you Mikey" I said in my normal voice and he let go of me and I suddenly felt miserable

"i'll let you know, i promise" he said and I nodded and watched him leave my room

I sat on my bed holding my knees hoping he'd come back.

 

Gerard.

"so what's going on?" I asked everyone in the living room

"I found Ray passed out on the ground, he then told me he saw something. The people that are after Caitlin and Marissa are here" Nicole said looking at them both sitting together

"so do we have a plan?" William asked

"there's only two of them" Ray said weakly "but it looks bad guys"

"we need the humans" Marissa said standing up

"if they join us in battle, the followers will kill them first because they know about us being vampires" Mikey said

"convert them" Marissa said

"gee, shouldn't we ask them first?" Frank said

"there's not much time, call them" I said and minutes later they were all over

We discussed and argued.

"I'm up for it" Brendon said raising his arm

"I guess... we'd be stronger as hunters" Patrick said

"bring it on" Spencer smiled

"how does it work?" Travis asked

"we'll get mom and dad, they're masters of converting pretty much. it'll take a minute and you should be up and running" Bob said carrying Tilde on his back like a koala

"but what about Cassadee and Alex?" Tilde suddenly said and I looked at Mikey

"I don't know" he said walking out of the room

"honestly, I don't know either." I said

"well it'll be safer for them" Marissa said

"I don't want anyone converting Cassadee except Mr and Mrs Way" Pete said cuddling Caitlin like a teddy bear

"that's clear" Brendon said

"now we gotta call mom" I said and grabbed my phone and called her while Mikey was texting

"maybe we should let the girls see it?" Caitlin said "then they won't be as nervous"

"you're so clever" Pete smiled and she did too and they eskimo kissed with their noses

"yuck" Liana said

"awww" Frank smiled and rubbed his nose with hers and she squealed a little and tried to push him off her

We started as soon as mom and dad arrived and Brendon went first. He laid on the couch and mom gently bit into his neck and his eyes rolled and Caitlin cringed a little and didn't look and Pete rubbed her side but watched closely and Brendon passed out

"how long will he be like that?" Patrick asked nervously

"just a moment" Nicole smiled a little to try and relax him

Patrick and then Travis went next and Brendon woke up and Marissa squealed with joy and hugged him

"wha?" he said scratching his head

"here put these in" she said holding the white moulds and making him open his mouth

"they taste like shit" he said

Slam mastic is GORGEOUS. she obviously doesnt use photoshop and she doesnt wear that much makeup. she doesnt edit her pics.....and she looks a million times better then people who do do that shit!if you think shes ugly  then your blind as can be. and atleast she has the guts to post pictures with a pimple on her face. 2. shes talented. shes one of my favorite female singers and shes a great songwriter at that. if she wasnt they would have replaced her. she sings really high for punk but shes a great singer. ps. she has more talents then just singing asshole she draws,paints, plays bass and guitar etc.

 

3.YEAH SHES KNOWN JUST FOR "BEING IN A BAND" SHE WAS IN A DAMN GOOD BAND THATS WHY PEOPLE KNOW HER. NOT ONE OF THOSE 2 GIG BANDS YOU IDIOT. As I lifted my head up Mikey kissed my forehead telling me to lie back down my vision blurred...I looked at my wrist seeing my white hospital bracelet:

Mikey reached over to me and held my hands in his as he prepared to talk to me.

"Miiikey." I said. I tried to speak, but the words didn't even sonud like my voice. Mikey rubbed his head and laughed.

"Jana? How're you feeling sweetie?" I rose an eyebrow and then rolled over on my stomach nervously biting my nails. My finger middle finger bled and I wringed my hand and formed a fist.

"Can we go home?" I asked.

"Yeah, we just have to sign out and get your medicine."

"Alright, just give me a sec." Once I heard shuffling and then the slam of the door I got up and searched for my clothes. On the chair besides me...I put on my clothes and took my iPod out of my pocket scrolling until I got to "Wrong Way" by Sublime. I opened the door and Mikey was waiting with a bag and a rose in hand.

"For you, my lady." Mikey said as if he knew I was looking at the rose. He motioned for me to follow me and I followed him to the car. He put my bag in the car opening the door for me and then shutting it and going to the drivers side. He started the ignition and the car started and then buzzed. Mikey tried again and again and again until a booming sound came abrupt. We both got out the car and he opened the hood as black gas sprayed him in the face. I waved it away for him.

"Looks like the engines dead." I said.

"Looks like." Mikey said bent over and an eye on me. "I'll call-

"No! Lets walk home!" I interuppted. He raised an eyebrow and held a hand out for me to hold. Soon we were on our way home. Suddenly Mikey stopped midway in our walk and grasped my face and kissed me tenderly...it was eager and way to hard to resist.

"We're over." He said letting go of my hand. Mikey walked away screaming "I love you" as I stood in disbelief, tears rushing down my face. I didn't know what to think but I felt like a gun-was put to my chest and once the trigger was pulled blew up my heart. I cried falling to my knees holding on to the pavement throwing the pit rocks. Two hands I didn't reconize wrapped around me and picked me up. They smelled like cigarettes, colonge, and spearmint gum...

Alex.

I was sitting at the table by myself in the restaurant and then Gerard came back with his uncle and I smiled and got up and hugged him

"shit" he said and Gerard smiled

"there has to be an imperfection somewhere" he smiled

"i drool in my sleep?" I said

"and there it is" he laughed "welcome to my second home, i hope you like Italian"

"I love it" I smiled

"good! Just sit and i'll organise something for you, you're not allergic to anything?" he asked

"nope, fire away" I smiled and he shook me a little "I love her already Gerard"

Gerard just smiled and we sat down and he kept staring at me

"what?" I asked

"nothing" he smiled

"so our schooling year is coming to an end" I said

"it is" he nodded slowly

"I'm considering getting converted" I said

"what?" he said "are you sure?"

"it's been playing on my mind alot" I said "I don't have a real family besides my grandparents who don't even remember me half the time..."

"we'll see" he said

Months later it was after graduation and we were all celebrating with drinks. Gerard and I had gotten alot closer and went back to his place instead of staying out and clubbing. I had the intention of sleeping with him, but I wasn't sure if the feeling was mutual.

We were on the bed and things started getting sexual and I tried to give hints.

"I wanna have sex" I blurted out and he smiled "I know"

"then... WHY DID I HAVE TO SAY IT?" I frowned and he laughed "havent you heard of foreplay?"

"an hour of it kills the mood" I said and he took his shirt off

"fine, i'll stop" he said

I was curious to know what it felt like.

We were under the covers and it burned and hurt. I tried not to scream but I wanted to push him off me.

"i'm sorry" he said softly "you'll get used to it"

he started to kiss me and I forgot everything. I was in love with him, but couldn't tell him, but oh I wanted to.

the plain started to turn into pleasure and I realised I had to tell him and made him stop kissing me

"Gerard" I said looking into his hazel eyes

"what does it hurt again?" he asked

"no, it feels great" I smiled a little "I have to tell you something"

"what?" he asked quietly

"I love you." I said and he smiled "really?"

I nodded, afraid of what he'd say

"I love you" he said stroking my face and giving me another kiss and I smiled

I was happy.

I woke up in his arms and looked up at him looking at me

"guess what" he said

"..what?" I asked

"I didn't blink my way to this moment" he said

"you watched me sleep for 6 hours?" I said and he nodded "you looked so beautiful"

I smiled and gave him a kiss and sighed and rested my head again

"what do you wanna do today?" he asked

"nothing" I said

"i'll go make you breakfast" he said sitting up and putting his boxers on

"no, don't" I smiled

"I want to" he smiled and picked me up forcing me to get dressed

We went to the kitchen and it was raining outside

"hey" Ray smiled and hugged me

"good morning" I said hugging him back

"here you go Alex" Gerard said

"thanks" I smiled and picked up the toast and put it in my mouth and there was a knock on the door

"i'll get it" Ray said running to the door and Gerard walked over and kissed my cheek

"you make me happy" he smiled

"aww" I said with a mouthful of toast and then he looked up and I turned around to see Ray a metre from the door and someone walked it

"...Marissa?" Gerard said and walked away from me and over to her forgetting all about me

"hey! YOU BASTARD" she said shoving him onto the wall

"but.. what?!" he said and everyone came into the room and William came through the door with another girl

"CAITLIN!" Mikey said and ran and hugged her

"what... what the fuck?!" Cassadee said and Nicole put her arms around her

"what's going on?" Frank asked

"they escaped" William said

"escaped from the afterlife?" Bob said and Marissa looked pretty pissed off at Gerard and I wasn't sure why

"she had some unfinished business" Caitlin explained "I saw how you guys made peace again with Pete" she said looking at Cassadee and walking over to her and Cass looked scared

"thank you" Caitlin smiled

"y...you're welcome" Cassadee said in a quiet voice

"WHY ARE YOU HITTING ME?" Gerard yelled

"I SAW YOU SLEEP WITH HER" Marissa yelled back

oh shit.

"you were killed! it's been 17 years, I moved on" he said

"she's HUMAN GERARD." she said

"maybe we should leave them alone" Ray said walking over to me but I couldn't stop looking at them fighting and he eventually pulled me away into the hall

"but... she's so pretty and perfect" I said in disbelief

"I know" Ray said taking me to his room and sat me down on his bed

"it's all my fault" I frowned

 

Gerard.

"why the fuck did you 'escape' just to tell me you watched us make love?" I asked

"it's not right" she said

"it's none of your business" I said

"it is now" she growled "I heard what you said to her"

"GERARD!" I heard and ran down the hall and into Rays room and saw Alex on the ground and helped her up

"she had a panic attack" Ray said

"Alex?" I said gently and Marissa came in

"Marissa get out of here" I said

"make me" she said and I rolled my eyes and looked at Alex and laid her out on the bed and Marissa watched

"you do know people are after you now?" Ray said to Marissa

"i'm aware" she replied

"then get lost" I said

"hey now, no need to be rude" she said and Alex woke up looking grumpy

"hey are you okay?" I asked

"it's all my fault, i'm going home" she said sitting up and walking out but I ran after her

"Alex, no. she's going to leave, not you" I said

"just leave me alone" she said holding her arms and still walking but I ran infront of her and stopped her

"Alex, I meant what I said last night" I said

"she's still your wife" she said turning around and looking at Marissa "i'm sorry for the trouble i've caused"

Marissa nodded and Alex turned back to me and walked down the hall and I still chased after her

"Alex" I said

"GERARD LEAVE ME ALONE" she said angrily and walked out and Cassadee looked at me and ran after her shouting her name

3 days went and I didn't hear from either Cassadee or Alex, but Pete came over and Caitlin was beside me and he looked at her and she gave him a smile and he ran and hugged her tightly

"oh my god" he said in tears

"I know, i'm here now" she smiled and hugged him back

Marissa was still on my ass trying to explain how she wasn't here to cause trouble, just to get mad at me. I didn't talk to her and ran to Alex's house and blinked myself into her room and she was packing

"Alex?" I said and she gasped a little

"I knew you'd do this eventually" she said

"where are you going?" I asked slowly walking over

"away, somewhere" she said quickly putting more things into bags

"you can't run away" I said

"YES I CAN." she said looking at me and breaking down "I need to get out of your hair and... away"

then she started crying loudly and I hugged her

"no, don't" she said trying to pull my arms off her

"no." I said "i love you Alexandra"

"no you don't" she said shaking her head

"how do you know what i'm feeling?" I smiled a little

"I... I don't" she said looking at me

"Marissa told me that she thought you were pretty" I said "and she's cooling down"

I gave her a soft kiss and she fell weak

"I love you" she said quietly "I better call Cassadee"

"why?" I asked

"she was going to run with me" she said

"what?" I said quietly "and leave Mikey?"

she nodded "I told her not to, but she insisted chicks before dicks"

she grabbed her phone and started dialling and I rubbed her arm

"Cassadee, I'm okay now" she said "Gerard got me sane again... yeah, go visit him" she smiled and hung up

"so... I guess we're going back?" she asked

"nah, let's stay here" I smiled "and unpack all these bags"

"okay" she smiled a little

"shotgun the underwear" I said and she playfully hit my arm
