From Tragedy To Happiness 1
Hi, I'm a new user here, and I just started writing. I hope you like it. Tell me what you think.
Two little boys looked on as they watched a tall, brown-haired man and a woman with long, reddish hair, talking in the driveway. The man, with a blank but cold look on his face, and the woman, looking frustrated and on the verge of tears.
"I don't love you anymore, and you know it," the man said, with no emotion.
"I know, but isn't there any way we could change it, any way I could change it? If you're not staying for me, stay for our sons," the woman said, her voice edging towards desperation.
For ten more minutes they argued. If the man left, he would never return. The woman knew this, and she knew for quite some time this would happen, but as she went on in denile, it became more and more clear that this would not work out the way she wanted.
Jörg Kaulitz walked up to the doorstep and kneeled down to face his sons.
"My sons, you know I care for you and your mother very much," he said, even though both him and the boys knew there was almost no point in lying, "but I cannot stay here any longer, for reasons you will not understand," although the boys understood almost perfectly.
"I'll come back and visit very soon." Another lie.
Jörg looked to his right, at a seven-year-old boy with chin-length blond hair that fell in braided chunks. "Tom, with your rebellious and strong personality, I hope that you will be strong for your mother and your brother in the hardest of times."
The man looked to his left. A seven-year-old boy with his short hair dyed black was, like his mother, on the verge of tears, although he was hiding it a lot better than she was. "Bill, you are a sweet and strong little boy, and I hope with that you will be able to comfort your mother when she needs it the most."
Jörg stood up, and gave his boys one last look. They had comfort in knowing that his last words to them were the only ones that were not lies.
As he drove away in a car that looked in desperate need of repair, the woman named Simone Kaulitz released the tears she had been holding back for so long as her now ex-husband drove away. Her sons ran to comfort her, and looked at each other. They knew it was going to be a long, hard road to recovery. They would have to be strong for their mother. But they knew they would have to be strong for each other, because they had a special bond that, as identical twins, they knew would never be broken.
