crappy haiku movie review of the week - star wars

as we all know, there's no shortage of movie review sites out there on the web. but who among us hasn't longed for movie reviews in the form of really crappily done japanese poetry? i know i sure have!

so once a week, i'll be dedicating a journal entry to a movie review in the form of a really crappy haiku.

this week's movie coined the phrase "what happens in alderaan, stays in alderaan" - it's the nerdgasmic sci-fi classic, star wars!

p.s. what's with the picture below, you ask? well apparently in russia, movie posters are about 100 times cooler than they are here in the states. i'd just hate to see the reaction when russian audiences realized that star wars was not, in fact, about a robot cat creature with party streamers shooting out of it's head. at least this one isn't as bad as the russian poster for the notebook, which features neo in a leotard fighting a hundred agent smiths.
