Apart from on the bank, there were more geese in the water too, you can see them on the right of the picture.

Definitely a population explosion.......I see you also have the Canadian Geese we are over run with them here. They are actually supposed to migrate back to Canada every year but they stopped doing that many years ago. Now they have made Long Island their permanent home !!!! It looks like some of the domestic geese may have cross bred with the Canadian ones.......Great capture : ))))
