justxbass's the Best and then all the Rest. [Week 3]

Back again! I'm getting quite into this whole journal thing. This week has been quite exciting, if you missed the hilarity that was the Twilight Live Blog, then make sure you catch the next blog to be announced soon! If you still fancy reading the comments then head to this tasty spot!

So anyway, now on with this weeks festivities!

The Chronicals of Buzznet.

User of the Week - This week I have chosen beatrixkiddo79 for having such a beautiful outlook in life which she wrote about in her image "A Revelation in Turning 30". A stunningly vivacious woman and an equally awesome artist. It was refreshing to find someone with such a great outlook on life, I think we can all take a page out of beatrixkiddo79's book. To see the image, please click on the link given above.

Photograph of the Week -  Another gem of a picture this week. A simple and very fun picture very reminicent of the work of Richard Avedon (my FAVORITE photographer). Portraits like this are the most effective I feel, the stark background makes the subject stand out so that all your attention is drawn to them. The only photographer I've seen that can take busy portrait/fashion pictures that still make the subject stand out is David La Chapelle but that is a discussion for another time. Whilst the shot is relatively simple it's a difficult task to make the picture interesting and attention worthy, so congratulations ImaniGivertz, you've certainly caught my attention!

Gallery of the Week - New entry for this week, I implore you check out sandeedandee's gallery "The Maine: Warped Tour 08/16/09" for some amazing live shots of The Maine in concert. Even if you don't like The Maine, these are certainly worth a gander! Gallery here!

Journal of the Week - Going along with the Twilight feeling of this week, this journal is definately worth a read. "Sparklepires beware: 'Twilight' is bad for your health." by witnesstherevolution is an informative read about how reading Twilight is detrimental to your health. It's a thesis worthy read so I demand you head over there now and get reading! READ ME

And now for top stuff this week...

Video - This video definately won out for hilarity this week. Thanks to Panasonicyouth for posting this tasty link on the Twilight Liveblog. Head here for Twilight themed side-splitting!

Song - The dirty opening song for True Blood, this has certainly had a right rogering from me this week! I demand ye listen to this, ye skuvy scum!

Book - A thoughly enjoyable and intelligent read, if you need something to do on a warm sunny Sunday afternoon then this is definately a book to relax with. I won't ruin it, you'll have to check it out in the book shop, well worth the read though. Plus I'm too tired to think at present!

Game - Featured game this week is an incredibly fun single or multiplayer game. Just a simple shoot 'em up which gets very hard as you go on but is guaranteed to have you in hysterics at some point. Take a good listen to the sound track, it's awesome! Linky!

And there we go, concluding another week of awesomeness! Have a great week guys!

Thanks for reading!

Thank you for including my journal! Its really nice to feel like people appreciate something I do. And hey, the more people we can warn about how bad Twilight is, the better, right? :P xxx

No problem, I did enjoy reading about the health implications of reading Twilight. Perhaps you could write to the publisher and get them to print a warning? :-) xx
I'm quite touched by your words and thank you so much! There's so much talent you have chosen in this entry! It means so much that I am among them!

:) I'm glad and thank you for reading. There is a lot of talent, there's a lot of talent on this website! It's getting quite hard to chose, but as long as people feel that they are appreciated by my journal then I'm happy :D I was moved by your revelation, it made me feel better about moving to University and getting older in my life, so thank you for being such a lovely person :)
