In Theaters Now

With three big titles arriving at your local theaters this weekend, isn't it about high time you stepped away from this computer, stopped texting your best friend, put down that cell phone and headed on over to the movies? Yes! That's it; discover a whole new world with overpriced popcorn, sticky floors and the thrill of watching a movie with 100's of strangers in the dark.

First up this weekend is the movie that has been generating a lot of buzz for its leading man, Jason Segal, who wrote and stars in the disastrous romantic comedy, "Forgetting Sarah Marshall." Enjoy the lush, tropical seascapes from their on-location shoot in Hawaii and sample an ample dose of laughs! "Sarah" is set to splash into 2,798 lagoons this weekend but will find some stiff competition for the top spot from that martial arts pic which open against it. Read the Buzznet movie review here.

Two of the world's best known martial arts experts, Jackie Chan and Jet Li, team up for the first time ever in "The Forbidden Kingdom." The movie is centered on a young boy, who stumbles upon an ancient mystical staff and suddenly finds himself transported to ancient China where he must now deliver said staff to the Monkey King. Sound a little over the top? Sure! But what martial arts movie script has even been nominated for an Oscar? This is pure family martial arts fun. Hey, bring your younger sister and brother and get mom to drive! "The Forbidden Kingdom" kicks its way into 3,151 castles this weekend.

Al Pacino stars as Jack Gramm, a Forensic Psychologist with the FBI. Receiving a phone call from an unknown bad guy,  Jack is told that he only has 88 minutes to live. At that point the movie goes into hunt mode as Jack races to capture his assailant before his 88 minutes are up! "88 Minutes" will clock in at 2,168 theaters. "The Life Before Her Eyes" is Vadim Perelman's great return to the big screen. Starring Uma Thurman as a woman who is haunted by her past and struggling to reconcile her feelings of guilt, "The Life Before Her Eyes" is a moving and haunting tale. "Life" will be seen by only a handful lucky moviegoers as it opens in only 8 select theaters this weekend.  Read the Buzznet movie review here.

Whatever you end up seeing, why not enjoy your movie with a nice big bag of freshly popped popcorn and a tall, refreshing Diet Coke! Going to the movies never tasted so good!

Have a great weekend and I'll see you in line at the concession stand!
