Now, I'm not usually one to believe anything Perez Hilton or any gossip blog says for that matter, but could there be some truth to this supposed event that went down the beginning of this week between Ashlee Simpson and Michelle Trachtenberg?  Let's get the details.

On Monday night, Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz attended the 'DJ Hero' party at LA's Wiltern Theater, a party Michelle Trachtenberg, Pete's supposed ex-girlfriend also attended. Sources say that the night started out well with the Wentzes and Michelle and her bf having a conversation for about twenty minutes. They were even admiring photos of the adorable Bronx Mowgli. But unfortuately, this was just the 'calm before the storm'(FOB lyrics really come in handy sometimes, right?).

As the night went on, Ashlee allegedly began to get very drunk and "out of control" according to a partygoer and as they say, when the alcohol comes out, so does the honesty. Ash also began to get loud and obnoxious, even going so far as to give Wentz a lapdance right in front of Michelle as well as throwing insults in her direction.

As the night began to get more out of control, Mrs. Wentz yelled at Michelle "I hope you know, the whole time you were dating Pete, I was ----ing him!" And in an effort to defend herself, Michelle, who was said to be sober the entire night,  told Ashlee in response “I’ve never said bad things about you. I’m happy for you guys.” Then, as the tension and volume of Ashlee's attacks began to increase, Mark Hoppus's wife had to actually drag Ashlee away from Trachtenberg to prevent a physical fight. And when all was said and done, Pete was said to look mortified.

But that's not the end, folks. Supposedly, Ashlee apologized saying "It was just a misunderstanding" to OK! magazine about the incident. Some apology, if that's indeed what happened.

So, do you believe all this? Is this what really went down or was it all just a 'misunderstanding'?
