Day 9
I've officially hit the 10-minute milestone. It's not the number that matters, but this is very important to me nonetheless. I have proven to myself that not only can I get on this treadmill everyday, but I can progress while doing so. It's a definite boost to my confidence, so much that I'm looking forward to tomorrow's walk.

I noticed that I feel different while doing this. Something about the idea that I am taking steps to get my body healthy gives me a mental boost. Physically I am doing a little better too. Shopping in general is not usually pleasurable for me because the walking tends to upset my hiatal hernia and cause a boatload of pain. Today I whipped through a very busy supermarket without any issues. Granted, I do have my good days here and there, but I'm hoping this is a sign that my physical health is starting to take a turn. I'm only day 9 into this little project of mine and I've already learned so much. I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.

21 days to go!

Yay! :D

My dad did this too after his heart attack, he does 30 minutes (almost)every day now and has dropped so much weight in a year it's crazy.

Keep it up Sue, you can easily do this

I wanted to post a picture of the Little Engine That Could but buzznet isn't letting me right now.

Anyways, you rock and you're definitely on the right track! :)

Good girl! This report really sounds optimistic. Keep up the good work!! If you have the diet to go with it, you should have won the battle.

My partner had a heart condition, and after that, at the age of 74, he took up the treadmill under supervision and also does light weightlifting. He's had to change his shirt size because his shoulders got broader.

Congrates, thats a big milestone. Milestones are good, they show progress. Maybe next week you can add an extra minute or two.
