November 5, 2009Daylight?Well, today sucks. I have a shitload of homework to make up along with a project due Monday. Good thing we have a four day weekend. WELL anyway, when was the last time I gushed about MGG? I read a journal today about him and fell more in love. The guy's a ford model mixed with a Greek God on a summer day with wispy hair and his shirt off. AND He's an artist. He lives in the vicinity, I have just yet to meet him. I swear though, every time I see him on tv. or in the tabloids, he just gets yummier and yummier. Can I get a woot woot? Next, has anyone watched Jennifer's Body? Yes it's an old topic by now, but I watched it not too long ago and I'm a bit disappointed. Yes she looked fabulous as always, I'm super jealous of her bod, anyone else? The storyline was interesting. I mean, what's scarier these days than teenage girls? But in reference to the overall plot scheme, I'm not impressed. I liked the movie, the soundtrack, the Megan Fox, and the creepiness of it. I'm sure alot of its audience only went because of Megan Fox anyway. Lately I've been really into Exercising and Fashion. Which I guess goes hand in hand, because if you can't fit into an outfit, you sure ain't gunna look cute. Dropped a couple pounds in the past week, which is surprising taken the fact that Halloween was just last Saturday. Then again, all my candy was destroyed in the rain. Thank you water cycle! October 16, 2009LET US SHRED!!!!So if there's one thing we Canadians on the West Coast look forward to this winter (besides being graced by the presence of the world's finest Athletes this February) it's the snow. Beautiful, majestic, fluffy, fantastic snow!
Push Ups - pretty straight forward. Use your arms to push your body weight off the ground. If you can't do the full military push up (most of us can't it's fine! you can build up to it), you can push up off your knees instead of your toes and do twice as many reps for the same effect. Tricep Dips - (I HATE THESE...but they work like nothing else!) These are going to hurt the first few times, much like boarding! what your going to do is like a reverse push up. Sit on a bench or a stair and you're going to support ALL of your weight on your hands and arms as you slide your body off the bench. A little scary at first, but worth it. Keep yous elbows at 90 degrees and your knees bent at 90 degrees as well. Your going to use your arms to dip down and pull yourself back up. Not only will these help you out A LOT, you'll also look pretty hot by the time all is said and done. Also this helps out a lot to fight off the Halloween candy/Turkey bulge/ Fruitcake overload for the next few holidays.
#2 Be Confident, Not Cocky!: There is nothing worse than prepping for the hill for a good time with your friends. But when you have that ONE downer, the whole trip could be disasterous. If it is your first time going up, don't complain! Be stoked!!! Be energetci and be willing to learn! You're going to fall on your ass regardless just don't think about it as often. Nothing beats a downer like a "Can Do Attitude!" #3 HAVE FUN! Just because you may not be able to land a 1080 the first time you jump off a kicker is no reason to pout for the rest of the day. Rome wasn't built overnight and practice does make you better, but not perfect. Just go out, who cares if you look like a goomba. You're with friends, making memories and enjoying the beautiful weather. What's better?

September 29, 2009I am looooving......having Soph with me at work everyday. We were discussing what annoys us and it's when people are like "oh well blah blah is hating on you 'cause she's just jealous of you". Hahaha psh, trust me. If I'm hating on someone, it's not because I'm "jealous" of them. I have the life I always wanted + a lot more so no sweetie, it's not that reason for me, and I'm pretty sure it's not the reason why so many other people hate you. The whole "well they're just jealous of you" line was just made up so people could feel better about themselves haha. The worst part about training Sophia to work here is that I'm constantly talking alllllllll day because I have to explain every little thing we do and why we do it so she understands, and it makes my voice tired so quickly! But a plus side is that my filing is done in half the time and I have someone to talk to while I'm out the back for hours! Jess and I are off to Queensland next Friday for our 1 year, which is also my last day of work here. And then on the following Monday I start my new job at McDonald's Real Estate! So it's like I'll have a mini break inbetween jobs haha. I'll be really sad to leave the accounting firm. It's like a little family here and our office is like a small cosy house with a cute courtyard with all it's blossoming flowers. Owhhhh. I love it here. I'm still trying to eat better and exercise more. I guess I'm getting there.
