NOW SHOWING: 'Baby Mama,' 'Harold and Kumar' and 'Deception'
It will be a battle of the sexes for the number one spot at the box office this weekend. A comedy lead by two females comedians is up against a sequel with two stoned-out dudes.

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler star in "Baby Mama," a hilarious comedy of mothers-to-be, wombs-for-hire and motherhood. Delivering their comedy best in 2,543 nurseries this weekend, Fey and Poehler arrive with some pretty good reviews and a PG-13 rating. This baby looks like it will easily nab the number one spot at the box office. Watch the trailer by clicking here.

The other comedy arriving at the cineplex this weekend is "Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay." This is of course a sequel to the now infamous "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle" which only eneded up grossing about $18 million at the box office, but eneded up being a smash on DVD bringing home over $60 million dollars. This installment of Harold and Kumar puts them on a plane to Amsterdam where they are mistaken for terrorists and sent to Guantanamo Bay. Movie opens in 2,510 cells this weekend and is rated R. Watch the trailer by clicking here.

If you are not in the mood for a comedy and would instead opt to settle in for the dramatic acting chops of Ewan McGregor and Hugh Jackman, "Deception" is the picture for you. A sexy thriller that takes the audience into the world of no-strings attached sex-clubs, "Deception" also stars Michelle Williams. Set to play on 2,001 screens, "Deception" is rated R. Watch the trailer by clicking here.
So laughs and sexy thrills, sounds like my kind of weekend! If you've never mixed popcorn and Raisenets in the same bag, try it! I highly recommend it. The sweet and salty taste goes great with a movie. Plus, you are eating it in the dark so you avoid those 'eww that is so gross!'
Have a great weekend and I'll see you in line at the concession stand!
