Historic School house
S. Florida
A one story, wood school house originally built in 1899,
and located in the historic section of Ft. Lauderdale.
The building was rebuilt in 1976,
and is estimate 30 ft /10 m long.
There was 1 Teacher and 9 students.
Schools and houses built in the early 1900s
had big windows for ventilation and no A/C.
(it can be 95 F/ 35 C in the summer.)
Students read books, and used pencil and paper.
Now some modern schools look like office buildings.

are located close to Las Olas.
Most museums close at 5 pm, and the area is generally safe.
I was able to take a self-guided tour using only a small map.
