Caro's POV

Brandon decided to take me to the park. The park's beautiful at night that's why I like it.

"So were you excited when you won the contest?"

"Yeah my mom didn't want me to come but I did anyway."

"Why did your mom not want you to come?" 

"Her and my dad got a divorce."

"It doesn't bother me to talk about it."

"Oh sorry."

"And I also have two brothers named Dean and Kaden. Kaden died two years ago, I really miss him."

"I'm sorry."

I looked down at the ground tears getting ready to swell up in my eyes. I didn't like talking about Kaden. I soon felt a hand lefting up my chin.

"Hey don't cry."

Next thing I knew that his lips were on mine. He pulled away and looked at me.

"Will you be mine?"

"Yes."

I kissed him and we went back to the hotel holding hands. I really had a great time. When we got back to the hotel we went back to our rooms. But before I went to mine, I went to Sierra's. I walked in and saw her sitting on her bed.

"So how was your date?" Sierra asked.

"Awesome Brandon kissed me."

"No way."

"Yes way. So how was your date with Kyle?"

"Awesome and we're together now."

"Great. I'm gonna go back to my room see ya."

"Okay."

I went back to my room and took a shower and dressed for bed after that. I went to bed still very excited about the whole night.

NOTE: again sorry that its short but chapte 5 will be longer so don't kill me  *runs and hides*

                                 chapter 1

One day I was walking to my friends house.

   "Hey Jake I'm single" I said. 

"Damn but why won't you date me" Said Jake. 

"Because I may be bi though but I can't date a bestie"... Besides I'm gonna go to the mall and find someone" I said.  "Bye"  As I arrive to the mall I see people shopping walking and talking, some stealing.  Then as I walk in Hot Topic I saw the hottest emo in there, Dani Gorfe.  "Hi Da-da-dani" I said blushing.  Dani is gay. 

"Oh hi Damian" Said Dani.

"I-I-I'd like to go out with you" I said stubbering. 

"Why sure" He said still smiling and me with my cheeks all red.

   After I got home I saw a black skull of a car.  Then I saw a note on it.  The note was for me then I read it aloud "Dear Damian this is your mother.  I bought you the car you wanted for no reason.  I just love you honey." "Wow" I said.  "I have a boyfriend and a car."

So I thought that I would give you all a preview of my book-in-progress... "Deadwood" if that is okay with everyone...

An exerpt from Part 1:

"Hey, Anastasia! Are you ready to go yet," Lucinda Vaughon yelled to her best friend, Anastasia Wood. Lucinda hurried to grab her favorite outfit from the dryer before running up the stairs to her room to get dressed. As she was putting on her undergarments, she could only think of Joshua Rocketté, the hottest guy she knew. Sadly for Lucinda, he was gay. Her circle of friends consisted of many hot people: Anastasia Wood, Damian Jones, Quinton Thymn, Annaleah Quendelle, Gwennda Quendelle, Marcus Bleu, Kyoko Yuu, Ellanore Quinné, Mellanie Taylore, Sammuel Roché, Christopher Roché, Terrah Leiha, Lucipher Leiha, Jasminé Rocketté, and Joshua Rocketté. Lucinda snapped out of her thoughts to put on her midnight purple dress and knee-high boots. She carefully slipped on her black and red lace gloves before beginning to brush her long black-purple hair. She blinked her lovely amethyst eyes a few times to wake herself up. She jumped when Anastasia appeared in her doorway. Anastasia was wearing her favorite outfit as well: black tank top, plaid skirt, long black glove, short black glove, blood tie, and all her other accessories. Anastasia had beautiful long blonde hair and wonderful dark grey eyes that glimmered in the moonlight. Lucinda was suddenly forced back into her thoughts of her and Anastasia, late at night in one or the other's bedroom, cuddling and more. Lucinda sighed.

"Yes, I'm ready, hun," Anastasia said, snapping Lucinda back into the present. "The question is, are you?"

"I think so," Lucinda said in a breathy voice just above a whisper. Lucinda was always astounded by Anastasia's beauty. In fact, Lucinda was almost jealous of her friend. Almost is the key word.

"Well, hun, we don't have much more time to be ready. Damian and Quinton are picking us up at 8, remember? And right now it's...7:45," Anastasia said, looking over at Lucinda's clock on her wall. Anastasia grabbed Lucinda's hand and practically dragged her out of her chair. Lucinda fell into Anastasia's arms and they both tumbled onto the floor.

"Does this remind you of anything, hun? Anything... special," Anastasia teased, knowing that Lucinda still loved her dearly. Anastasia felt the same, but it didn't work out between them the first time they had tried, so they shouldn't try it now. It was ridiculous. Anastasia was ridiculous.

"Oh, shut up," Lucinda told her playfully. Lucinda knew that Anastasia felt the same way she did, but if you so ever even jokingly say that Anastasia liked someone, she would just about kill you, figuratively.

"Oh, we'd better head downstairs," Anastasia said. "Let me just get our bags." Lucinda got off of Anastasia and watched her walk swiftly towards first Lucinda's room and then her own to get their bags. Anastasia handed Lucinda her bag and together they walked down the stairs. Damian and Quinton were waiting outside for them. Anastasia and Lucinda walked outside towards them and Anastasia first gave Damian a little kiss, then Quinton. Lucinda did the same, starting with Quinton first. Damian was also wearing a favorite outfit of his, consisting of a plain black ¾ sleeve shirt, black and white striped gloves, his favorite belt, black skinny jeans and a pair of black converses. Quinton, as usual, was a little overdressed with accessories. His outfit consisted of a black half sleeve zipped-up jacket, gray short sleeve turtleneck shirt, black gloves, black skinny jeans, a belt, and black converses. Quinton, although a little much, knew how to dress. Between the two of them, Lucinda thought Quinton was cuter than Damian. Anastasia thought otherwise. Quinton had his eye on Lucinda. Damian wanted Anastasia. They stood, silent, for a second before Quinton spoke.

"Well, shall we get going, then? We have a big day ahead of us," he said. As they began to walk in the opposite direction of Anastasia and Lucinda's house, Quinton draped his right arm around Lucinda's shoulders while Damian draped his left arm around Anastasia's. Lucinda and Anastasia began to hold hands. Lucinda wrapped her free hand around Quinton's waist, and Anastasia did the same with Damian. They were all in step, walking to a secret beat that was half of the beat of their hearts. Life was great.

My shadows of death race through

The demons crawl out to fight

It was a portal full of revenge

I say that because I now kill the demons

I have to find that golden key

Where is that golden key that I don't see

I now find myself crying

Caro's POV

I woke up tp my alarm clock going off. I wasn't so excited about going to school today. I hated school to tell ya the truth. I went over to my closet and picked out an Avenged Sevenfold t-shirt, black and purple plaid dark street pants with chains and vans. I went downstairs and grabbed my white skull hoodie. I went outside and got in my car seeing that my mom had already left for work. I got to school and saw Beth and them waiting for me at the corner of the school building. I went over to them and Tiffani started jumping up and down, I knew exactly what she was all excited about. Yes we won a contest thing to go on tour with some band called Love or Lust, Life or Death. Tiffani had the hots for Travis, Beth had the hots for Michael, Sierra had the hots for Kyle, Destiny had the hots for Nate, Ann has the hots for Matt, Nicole has the hots for Marcus, MacKensie has the hots for Justin and I have the hots for Brandon. And yes Ann and Nicole are twins. Yes we're leaving tomorrow morning to get on the bus so thats why they're staying at my house. I looked over and Tiffani was still jumping up and down.

"Will you chill out." said Destiny.

"Well I can't help it, it ain't my fault I have the hots for Travis."

Destiny and I rolled our eyes. Sometimes Tiffani can be annoying when it come to cute boys. We stood and talked until the bell rang for homeroom. We went to homeroom and sat down. We talked some more after that and with in 5 minutes the bell rang. I sighed knowing that its gonna be a long day.

 Brandon's POV

"Okay boys there are eight girls coming on tour tomorrow and I expect you to be nice to them". said our body gaurd.

My eyes widened at that I never thought eight girls would be coming on tour with us. I liked that. I knew Kyle would want to go out with one of them. And so would Matt, Marcus, Nate, Travis, Michael and well of course me.

"Is it against the rules to date a girl when there on tour with you"? asked Kyle.

"No".

"Alright".

I smiled at that I think I'm really going to like it when they come on tour.
