Algarrobina Cocktail
The algarrobina is a product derivative from the algarrobo, and it’s very used in the peruvian cuisine and juices. The algarrobo fruits are cooked, the extract is processed and we obtain a sweet syrup, very appreciated for its nutritional and vitamin value. Also we have a delicious cocktail with this ingredient that I really like!
If you like the sweet drinks, you’ll be in paradise with this cold cocktail. It contains algarrobina, pisco and condensed milk. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like it; you will cause an excellent impression in a meeting or party if you serve this cocktail. Just like any other sweet liquor, you must be careful… you must get “very happy” and don’t realize it. This recipe is for 6 people.
Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups of pisco
1/2 cup of algarrobina
1 can (397 g or 14 oz) of condensed milk
2 yolks
Ground cinnamon
16 ice cubes (or more, if you want it lighter)
Preparation:
Blend all the ingredients (except the cinnamon) in a blender.
Add the ice cubes and blend again. Verify the taste.
Serve in glasses and sprinkle the cinnamon.
La algarrobina es un producto deribado del algarrabo un arbol muy comun en el norte del peru. La algarrobina es un ingrediente mas de nuestra comida y tambien esta presente en los jugos que se preparan aqui.
Tambien tenemos el coctel de Algarrobina, q es uno de mis favoritos porque es dulce.. si le gustan los cocteles dulces este les a a encantar.. y claro tmb tiene Pisco!
Ingredientes :
1 3/4 de taza de pisco
1/2 de taza de algarrobina
1 lata (397 g) de leche condensada
2 yemas
Canela molida
16 cubos de hielo o mas si se desea mas suave
Licuar todos los ingredientes menos la canela en una licuadora.
Agregar los cubos de hielo y seguir licuando. Rectificar el sabor y añadir lo que al gusto le parezca necesario.
Servir en copas individuales y espolvorear con canela
