I've been doing a lot of cooking lately....
This is my third cake this month. Partially because my home ec. topic for the term is celebration cakes. So far I've made a fruit cake, cup cakes and a birthday cake for my friend. (That last one has nothing to do with school what so ever, we just take it in turns to make each others birthday cakes.) And now I have to make (yet another) cake for history, this time. It's WW1 themed, so if anyone has any good ideas tell me, or I'll just do a trench cake.
This cake is to celebrate the Duan Wu (Dragon Boat) Festival in China. It's on the 28th of May this year. The chinese characters say 'Duan Wu Jie Hao' which literally means 'Have a happy duan wu festival' =]
