The Offspring Bassist on Quick Hiatus; Another New Single Announced
Despite The Offspring's Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace still being two weeks away from release, the band has already chosen the second single from the record, most likely due to the success of its predecessor, "Hammerhead."

Punk News reports that "Kristy, Are You Doing Okay?" will be the next Offspring track to invade your stereo system from Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace, which hits shelves June 17.
Meanwhile, the SoCal vets have a few festival gigs lined up for the summer in support of Grace, which the band calls its "best record yet." However, original member and bassist Greg Kriesel is taking time off from the band for a "scheduled family matter." He's slated to return to the bass toward the middle of June, with Scott Shiflett (Face to Face) filling in on bass for the meantime.
The Offspring tour dates:
6.6: Lisbon, Portugal @ Rock in Rio
6.7: Nurburg, Germany @ Rock Am Ring
6.8: Nuremburg, Germany @ Rock Im Park
6.10: Paris, France @ Le Trabendo
6.13: Interlaken, Switzerland @ Greenfield Festival
6.14: Donington Park, England @ Download Festival
7.4: Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic @ Rock For People
7.5: Sopron, Hungary @ Volt Festival
7.6: Belfort, France @ Eurockeennes Festival
7.8: Athens, Greece @ Rockwave Festival
7.26: Denver, Colorado @ Big Gig
8.9: Baltimore, MD @ Virgin Mobile Festival
