Division Day

Santa Cruz, California, is known for having a college where students are not required to go to class, for cold water surfers who are forced to share their waves with sharks the size of Hummers and for the counterintuitive alternately noisy and angelic, poppy psychedelic sound styling of Division Day. Once they'd released their self-titled EP, Nothing could stop the progression of Division Day, other than a break to go back to the classroom and finish their educations prior to completion of their debut album, Beartrap Island, from March 2007.
