I.

the planes are four hawks,

waiting to strike.

the towers stand tall and proud,

like a soldier after winning a battle...

II.

"CRASH!"

the first tower collapses.

it begins to sink,

as do the hearts of patriots.

the bystanders run,

trying to escape from the blizzard of ashes and rubble.

without warning,

a second planes swoops in,

taking out the second tower.

an eerie silence fills the nation...

III.

a third plane has smashed into the Pentagon.

the fourth crashes in Pennsylvania...

IV.

the flames engulf the building;

trapping innocent people inside,

like and electric fence keeping in animals...

V.

we stand,

looking on in shock.

we are powerless.

its all up to the brave and mighty rescuers now...

VI.

2749.

all the innocent people.

gone.

passengers,

workers,

rescuers,

bystanders.

we were talking about 2012 and how people said that there's going to be a huge disaster that 60% people of the world will be dead. so this is what she said:

Mom : 60%? am I included?

Me : "How about me? I'm not even married yet!"

Mom : Okay, so, don't live near beaches, there might be a tsunami. don't live on a mountain, they might erupt. don't live in the big city, there might be terrorist-bombing action. Why dont we move to another planet?

Me : Huh...

Mom : Yeah, you can get married with aliens.

Me : Do you WANT an alien grandchild?

Mom : Oh yeah... The aliens would probably think "I'm not going to marry a human, HELL NO."

Me : ... How old are you again, mom?

 

then again, it's my mom.
she could be a little crazy sometimes.

that's why i love her and miss her so damn much!

My brother is depressed and is probably going to delete his account. So this is very depressing to me and our family. So can someone say something to him because it is just making my life a total havoc. :(

Name: Kiley Andrea Moore :: Age: 18 :: Short Description: Kiley is in college for photography and she is doing very well. Her and her sister have the best relationship ever. They have been best friends ever since they were little. It was very hard on the both of them when Kiley decided to go to college. They call each other every day to stay close.

so thanksgiving....

today i woke up late (my normal radio station was down)
i got myself dressed and curled my hair (i left my flat iron at my dad's)
i packed my things to go to me dad's house
my mom kicked me out around 11 am so she could use my room to put the baby down

after a week of bitching and moaning about how i wasn't staying home all day and i was 'rushing' everyone else so i could go to my dad's what does my mom do?
she decides my brother is 'too sick' to go over to my grandma's and stays home
my stepdad, sister, and i go alone

my grandma is upset that my mom and the baby didn't come
my sister is being a total pussy because she isn't getting everyone's attention
my stepdad is getting mad that she is ruining everyone's time
my grandpa is indifferent because he doesn't hear a word

my dad pick's me up from my grandma's so i can come out there for the rest of the day
i find out that our group grew from eight people to fifteen
five kids under thirteen in the same house at the same time
goodie

we say grace and all fourteen of us say what we're thankfull for (except peyton)
i respond my family and my friends
cliche
my aunts niece says she's thankful for horses

we all stuff our faces except for me
i eat sides and pie then drink some coffee with far too much creamer
i watch everyone else clean up while i sneak off with a can of redi whip and a book

my dad and i sit down to watch grey anatemy
one by one people wander into the room and sit down
each of them loudly exclaims 'what's going on?!'
everyone responds loudly all at once
my dad and i turn up the volume and sigh dejectedly

everyone asks me and my dad why we cover our eyes at the bloody nasty parts
they soon find out
an artery in this guy's neck explodes
i start wretching and run to throw up two meals worth of thanksgiving food

by nine thirty everyone is leaving
i go to play guitar hero but my dad has hidden the guitars from the kids
i give up the day as a loss

 

i appreciate my family anyway...

the first snow of the year...

Sometimes along the way I believe we forget that there are still those left behind that continue to struggle today. It is our responsibility to help those that need aid.



This past Friday the rivers in Mexico's state capital of Tobasco, Villahermosa began to flood after a week's worth of heavy rain. It has now turned into the one of the worst natural disasters in the history of the country. They are comparing it to what happened in New Orleans and Katrina, but it is much worse.  From what I have also gathered Chiapas and a few other neighboring states have also been affected.

As a Mexican American myself, I am calling on everyone to please help in donating to the Mexican Red Cross or simply to spread the word about this. They are in dire need of basic supplies as thousands and thousands of people still need food, water and somewhere to sleep. They are estimating that 300,000 are still trapped. One of the main concerns has been that more rain could be on the way and that disease could begin to spread.
