November 10, 2009Daily Music Dose - This Providence
The first time I heard of This Providence, I was at the Ludo, Sing It Loud, and The Morning Light show back in February. When they came on stage with their long dark hair and black skinny jeans, I thought Oh, great. Another pop/punk band with boring lyrics about girls and drinking. I was completely wrong. They opened up with A Wolf In Sheep's Clothing. I quickly picked up the chorus, sang along at the top of my lungs, and danced the whole time. It was the most fun I've had at a show. Their set was my favorite that night.
Dan Young: Vocals/Guitar Gavin Phillips: Guitar David Blaise: Bass Andy Horst: Drums Label: Fueled By Ramen Hailing from Seattle, Washington, This Providence, a Christian indie/rock band has received over 3 million plays on Myspace, released 3 albums and an EP within 6 years, and toured with numerous bands. I wasn't surprised when I discovered that they were considered a Christian band. Not all, but the majority of This Providence songs are about God. Listeners know that this band puts all their heart and soul into the music, whether it's writing songs or performing them live. Each song is catchy and just plain honest. This Providence has shared the stage with The Cab, Copeland, Paramore, Sing It Loud, All Time Low, The Morning Light (RIP :'( ), Relient K, Brighten, Ludo, The Hush Sound, and many more. Over the Summer, they toured with Hey Monday, The Friday Night Boys, Stereo Skyline, and The Bigger Lights. This Fall, they will be touring with Cartel, The Summer Set, and Runner Runner. Daniel Young (vocals) and Gavin Phillips (guitar) started This Providence in 2003. After graduating high school, This Providence worked with Seattle-based Rocketstar Recordings and released their debut full-length record, Our Worlds Divorce. The quartet was signed to Fueled By Ramen in early 2006. They released their self-titled full-length Sophomore album in September 2006. The opening track, A Wolf In Sheep's Clothing, is clearly about Satan. Young is telling us to stop giving in and stand against the devil."I've had enough of your games. If you're not trembling, you'd better be, because we're gonna be the end of you. I'm gonna show them who you really are. And I can tell you right now, it won't be pretty / You held me down for so long, but it's not gonna last, because I can see right through your beautiful eyes." Last October, the band released an EP titled The Bright Lights EP. This past March, they released their third album Who Are You Now? Compared to their self-titled album, Who Are You Now? shows how they developed their own sound and how they've grown as musicians. Who Are You Now was recorded with Matt Squire (All Time Low, Boys Like Girls, Panic! At The Disco). Oscary Wilde's, The Picture of Dorian Gray inspired Young to write a short story, which led him to write the 13 tracks of Who Are You Now?. This album is a collection of mostly rock songs with the occasional acoustic, slower songs.
Squeaking Wheels and White Light, the renovated version of My Beautiful Rescue, and Playing the Villian tend to be crowd pleasers. They have amazing lyrics and a fun, great beat that makes everyone want to dance. Chasing the Wind is the one of the acoustic songs that starts out mellow and gradually gets more powerful. My personal favorite is Sand In Your Shoes. Every since I heard Dan sing it back in February, I've been hooked. I can't go a day without listening to them. Moral of the story? Don't judge a band on their looks. Even if they look like your typical pop/rock band. You will never know if their music could change your life if you don't give them a chance. I love that This Providence isn't afraid to share their message about God. Their talent definitely won't hold them back - making their future very bright. This Providence - Letdown
Today, This Providence released the music video for their new single Keeping On Without You.

August 30, 2009Remember When.So the past couple days, I noticed that #rememberwhen was a trending topic on Twitter. I remember writing a poem in 6th grade called Remember When, so I decided to share it with everyone. Let me know what you think of it. :) Remember that I wrote this in 6th grade, so sorry if it sucks. Haha. Remember When When you were always happy. When you had no idea what was going on and loved it. When Santa Claus, The Tooth Fairy, and The Easter Bunny were real. When your most important decision was to either go on the monkey bars or play Tag during recess. When no one cared what you wore or what you looked like. When everything was perfect. When your only drama was when your best friend stole your oreos during lunch. When the worst thing you could get from boys were cooties. When Mommy and Daddy were your heroes. When you wanted to be exactly like them. When they fixed your every single problem. When getting high meant on the swings at the playground. When kissing a boo boo made all the pain go away. When your worst enemies were the doctors and dentists. When race issues were about who ran the fastest. When getting married meant you and the person you liked swung at the same speed on the swings. When war was just a simple card game. When school was easy and fun. When the only fake people you knew were Barbie, Ken, and GI Joe. When the only way your friends could dissappear was in a game of Hide and Seek. When life was carefree and simple. Remember when all you wanted to do was just grow up? Welll now that you're all grown up, the thing you want most is to be a little kid again. Do you remember when? <3Jenny
If you have a Twitter, wish @thedanyoung a Happy Birthday or write it on This Providence's Buzznet. I'm really happy right now. I had a lazy weekend and I'm perfectly fine with that. I didn't have any homework. I found the charger to my camera so I can take pictures. I just ordered lots of GK Shirts. Yay sales! I can land a flip on my trampoline. ANDDDD. The AP Tour changed their Pittsburgh date from September 24th to November 15th. My mom wouldn't let me go on the 24th because of the G-20 Summit. If you don't know what that is, it's where 20 leaders of the world's 20 most important economies come to Pittsburgh to talk about economic/other problems with the president. There's going to be a bunch of protesters, policemen, and probably a riot down there. My history teacher showed me a video of a riot in Seattle a couple years ago, and it was just complete madness. There were policemen beating people, tear gas, people running everywhere. I think it took like 36 overs to stop the riot. Woww. Maybe it's just me, but I think that it would be an interesting experience to actually see what downtown would be like. So yeah, I get to go. I'm so excited. How was everyone's weekend? (:

August 25, 2009First Ever Warped! part 2
We the Kings setlist:
I tried to take a vid of them playing their new song, but a lot of ppl were crowd surfing, and it was impossible! =( I got hit like once, but I learned to help the crowd surfers, or I'd get hurt. So remember: Help or ye'll Yelp! =) Trav did this funny thing that he said that he hated Hunt and that Hunt hated him, but they loved each other and that's what being in a band is all about 0-o Hehehe =) I also thought it was hilarious when Trav asked the crowd, "Who believes in God?" only a few low screams served as a response. Then he asked "Who believes in We the Kings?" And everyone started screaming! Hehehe =) Fer the pic, we got lots of Trav. I wanted more DanDan, but couldn't really see him. =(
We also got these blurry pix or Rian Dawson and Jack Barakat from All Time Low when they joined the boys onstage, after Trav told everyone in the crowd to give All Time Low the finger as they walked by. =)
Then Trav went to the WTK tent after the set, but the line was ginormous! So we just snuck these shots of him before the merch guy closed the side of the tent that he'd left open.
We went to the Maine tent (fer the like 4th time! Hehehe =) Insane, I know!) But didn't see the boys at all. And then, out of nowhere, came Kennedy! Some girl is talking to him and we patiently wait until they're done, but we do sneak these pix of him meanwhile. She'd given him a bracelet, so that's what he was putting on.
Then I asked him fer a pic and he was like "OK!" His eyes are so beautiful! OMFG! =) Amazing! And his smile...These are the pix!
I apologized fer bumping his head @ the AP tour stop in SF, and he said that it was fine. (OMFG! Closet freak out!) And that I shouldn't worry about it. Never the less, I'll never forgive myself. We said thanks, and Kenny said, "No, thank you!" Aww! =) We were walking to the Ernie Ball stage to see Aiden, when we ran into Andy from This Prov again! I said, "Sorry to bother ye, but can we take another pic?" He agreed. Apparently Andy isn't too happy w/ a shirt on! Hehehe =)
Out of luck, we walked by the AP tent where Hit the Lights was signing. There was practically no line, so the girl at the tent gave us an AP Warped program pictured below, and I flipped it open to find a small pic and article on Hit the Lights. Everyone else was getting their shoes or the laminated cover signed, but the Sharpie didn't stick and smudged on the cover. Kim snuck these pix while HTL signed, while the chick at the tent screamed "No pictures!" to some other girl. Kim was inconspicuous and we didn't get caught! Hehehe =)
Everyone at the table was really nice and Nick and Omar were talking about making an invention or something. Hehehe =) Well, Omar was sitting at the very end of the table, and started humping it, making it shake violently. Hehehe =) Everyone was like "Omar, stop!" and he was like "I'm sorry, I can't!"
We went to get my mom from the amphitheater, so that we could go and see Aiden. She sat at the bench near the stage, and Kim and I were lucky enough to end up pretty close to the Ernie Ball stage. Aiden didn't have a very big crowd. Despite the fact, they were amazing! wiL's energy radiated off into me. His eyes are stunning, yet empty. There was so much passion there. I loved seeing them play. They played some songs that I didn't know from their new album, but I loved being able to be so close to the band. Aiden setlist •· Last Sunrise •· Let the Right One In
We didn't see their whole set, because we went to see There for Tomorrow a little bit before Aiden's set ended. TFT were playing in the amphitheater at the SmartPunk stage. When we got there, P.O.S. was playing the Hurley.com stage, and I hated it. Hehehe =) It was bad. I totally didn't like it. Meanwhile...LURKER ALERT! We saw Austin Bello from Forever the Sickest Kids watching P.O.S. perform with a Sharpie in his mouth, and Maika Maile from There for Tomorrow. They looked really concentrated and kinda-but-not-really into it. In the Maika pic, the redheaded kid on the side is Caleb Turman (OMFGZ! 0_o I know!) who was also watching, but just for a few seconds.
Right before TFT started, we saw Dirk Mai, Garrett, and John O' coming out from backstage. I wanted to go and get them to take a picture so bad, but I knew that I'd loose my spot for TFT if I did. So I didn't. Plus, they had food, and I didn't want to bother them. I regretted it (a little bit) later, b/c I didn't get to meet any of them. =( We were lucky enough to come a few minutes before their set started, because we ended up basically in front of Christian Climer. (OMFGZ! =P *drools*) and Maika. I love Christian's new hair, BTW! =) he's really energetic and it was hard to get a good still pic of him. =) poor Maika! =( the sun came out during their set and was hitting him really hard in the face, making him sweat like crazy. I loved their set, although his voice was kinda drowned out by the guitars! There For Tomorrow setlist •· A little Faster •· Backbone •· Stories Oh, and Christian showed off a ginormous rip in his pants. You could see he was wearing really really tiny bright red boxers, that probably only reached the end of his jean pockets. Hehehe =) didn't get a pic of it, tho! I suck! =P
We left their set early, about halfway through, to go and see This Providence at the Kia Kevin Says Stage. We were lucky, BTW! =) Later on the place was packed, and we were right on the end of the front row, in front of Gavin. While they were setting up, we heard All Time Low all the way from the main stage! =) We heard "Damned If I Do Ya (Damned If I Don't)", "Dear Maria, Count Me In", and "Break Your Little Heart". LURKER ALERT! While they were setting up, Aaron Gillespie was walking around the stage! =)
We also saw Gerr and Pat Kirch walking near the back of the stage, but couldn't take a pic of Gerr. Here are some blurry ones of Pat Kirch, though! =)
This Providence setlist •· Selfish •· Letdown •· That Girl's A Trick •· My Beautiful Rescue •· Playing the Villan •· Waste Myself (one of my faves!) BTW, Pat brown joined them onstage for "Waste Myself" and Dan said that they were doing Denny's w/ Sing It Loud that night (I couldn't go, though! =( ) then he gave Dan a long hug before he left.
This Prov rocked. They're really great live. =) I think David kinda recognized us, because he kinda stopped onstage and looked our way (I swear he was looking at us!) for a little bit, mouth agape. (We'd waved at him twice, and did the pictures!) He did some mean head banging, BTW! =) poor Gavin! He was so red!
We rushed next door to catch the last 2 songs of VersaEmerge on the Ernie Ball stage. I love Sierra and her voice! She looked beautiful, and got the crowd all crazy. I was dying to see VE forever! VersaEmerge setlist •· Clocks •· Whisperer
Then we went to the Maine tent again, but no luck. =( We went to the Innerpartysystem tent and were surprised to see Dave from Hit th Lights filling in for the merch guy. We asked him for a picture and he did this really weird thing! Hehehe =) we tried 2 times with him (for me) in the first pic he's doing this weird muscle thing, and I told him to do the same thing in the next pic, so that I could put my hand on his muscle. But he said "I'm sorry, I don't have any muscles!" so weird, right? =)
Then I asked Kim if she wanted a pic and she got all nervous. She was kind of reluctant, but then Dave grabbed her in a hug and said "C'mere, you!" He's so cute and playful. She was so embarrassed! Hehehe =)
We went to the Hurley.com stage to see FTSK @ 7:45PM. Breathe Carolina, which I don't like =P was playing the SmartPunk stage. Kim and I were sitting around, since we were a bit exhausted. Later, we went to the other side of the amphitheater where FTSK was gonna play. It was packed, and we had to be in seats, but I loved what I saw of their set. They had a really good audience, loving and cheering them along. =) Forever the Sickest Kids setlist: •· Hey Brittany •· My Worste Nightmare •· She Likes They came out practically jumping and got the crowd all riled up. Jonathan looked really into it, and all of them looked really animated. =) then Jonathan started talking about a dream catcher that was projected on the roof.
Unfortunately, we had to leave (OMFG, I know! So unfair!) During their third song. We were getting out and we were gonna give the Maine tent another try, when we ran into Nate Flynn from Sing it Loud. I couldn't remember his name at all (Mean, I know! =( ) but I just said "Hey!" and he turned around, ASAP! I asked him fer a pic, and he said yeah. I told him that their set was great and he laughed and said thanks. I was all sweaty and fucked up (since it WAS the end of the day) but he was so nice!
We had to leave early and I was bummed about not being able to see all of the Maine, or All Time Low who were playing at the same time as There For Tomorrow, or 3OH!3 (who were going to play at 8:15 PM), or all of the bands that I'd wanted to take pictures with, like FTSK, Aiden, Craig Owens from Chiodos, or Aaron Gillespie from Underoath and the Almost, but I really seriously loved Warped. I got a pretty mean sunburn running over my nose and cheeks but it wasn't all that bad. =)
Warped rocked! Hope that I can come next year! -Jack BTW, David Blaise is even cuter in person, if that's even possible! =)

August 11, 2009I want to learn more about YOU! #2Thanks for all the feedback. It was cool seeing who liked Converse or Vans more. Everyone had awesome wishes. Wouldn't it be cool though, if you were granted a wish when you were born? One wish only and you can't wish for more wishes. Oh and can anyone else think of a better name for this. I feel like 'I want to learn more about you' is kinda lame.. Haha. I've decided I'm going to post one of these everyday for the second and fourth weeks of the month since I post Current Obessions on the first and third Monday of the month. Question of the day: Did you watch the Teen Choice Awards? If you did, what did you think of it? Answer: I personally think the TCA are getting worse and worse each year. I watched until Black Eyed Pees sang 'I Gotta Feeling' because my tv froze for some reason? I don't really like them. Remember when Fergie made that song called Fergalicious? I can only remember her spelling out her name, the london bridge, and it being so annoying. It would always be stuck in my head. But anywhooo, why were The Jonas brothers hosting it? C'mon, really. And What was up with the 'Dare The Jonas Brothers'? So stupid. I can't believe that guy actually cut Joe's hair. Or was he wearing a wig? I'm sorry, but whenever Miley Cyrus came out in that oufit during 'Party in the USA', I wanted to rip my ears/eyes out. What was she wearing?! No one wants to see your bra, Miley. Put some clothes on! I just wanted to say that Ed Westick pretty much has the hottest accent ever besides Dan Young from This Providence. Hah. I want to see My Sister's Keeper soo badly. I love Cameron Diaz. Oh and am I the only one that thinks Megan Fox ISN'T attractive? She has pretty eyes, but I don't see the huge excitement over her. That's all I saw because I got distracted with reading some fan fics. Hey Monday or VersaEmerge
Answer: As much as I love Hey Monday, I'm going to have to go with VersaEmerge. Maybe it's because I've listened to 'Hold On Tight' way too much. Hey Monday is so good live though. Whenever Cassadee played 6 Months acoustic, omg it was so pretty. I can't even describe it. I love her voice. I still have to see VersaEmerge live. My favorite songs are 'The Hider' and 'Clocks'. VE is just more rockish. Hopefully, I'll get to see them with Cobra Starship, A Rocket to the Moon, Boys Like Girls, and The Maine. They are on that tour right? I still have to listen to Hot Mess. I've been out all day and haven't gotten the chance to buy it. What do you think of it? When does ARTTM's album come out? Has anyone seen Devin's new haircut?! :( peacee, <3Jenny

November 16, 2008Quick Update
To whom it may concern,
We're done touring for the year. Wow, it was a big year in touring for us. What 2 tours? I know, insane. Thank you very much if you came out and supported us. We played our last show of 2008 in Seattle at the Showbox on Wednesday night. It was nice, you Seattle folk should come to our shows more, we have cool things like lights and stuff on stage...haha, seriously though. We had white christmas lights all over the stage and as a back drop, it was pretty sweet. Also, Phil, our original bass player came out and sang on an older song that he actually wrote called 'Truth and Reconciliation.' Thanks Phil! We're going to pick up touring again as soon as we possibly can, which will be either January or February next year. Oooo, and you can expect to see a brand new album from us early next year! Before I wrap this up, I wanted to let you know about my cousin's band 'Detective Social.' If you haven't heard them make sure to have a listen. They just released a new EP on iTunes. I was listening to it today (for the 100th time). It really is something sweet and unique. Thanks for reading, you're the best, -Dan, This Providence

October 4, 2008Talking about life.
Uncle Fest: Day III
Two days ago I woke up at 4:30 am in LA, jumped on a plane that took me to Madison, Wisconsin. 3 hours after landing, I was on stage playing our first show with Relient K. I felt so rock 'n roll; being flown around the country, riding coach between two smelly people, eating high quality fast food and sleeping on a friend's couch! It was great. Anyway, I finished my vocals and our record is done! I know I sound cocky, but I can't help it, this album is incredible. We finally made the record we've always wanted to. Every time I listen to it I get excited. I wish you could hear it right now...but you can't. However, we do have an EP coming out on the 14th to hold us over. Oh, and a new version of My Beautiful Rescue will be on our MySpace on Tuesday. Blah, blah, blah, tour, tour, tour. It's great and it sucks, but mostly it's great. It would be better if you came and sang along. We are playing to a lot of fresh ears, and we could use all the support we can get. So do it! Come to a show and hang out with us. We'll be at the merch table offering free counseling and kick boxing lessons. Seriously though, please come to the shows, we need you. Thanks for the memories, -Dan, This Providence

January 2, 2008The Good Things Will Live In Our Hearts: 21Chapter 21 – David’s shoes. “I’m sorry. I didn’t hear any of it.” He said turning to walk away. “David!” I called out. He turned around to face me, but didn’t look at me. He looked down at his feet. I walked toward him. “Kaitlyn, I shouldn’t be here right now.” He said. “David, what did you hear?” I asked. “Enough to know.” He said. “You can’t tell Dan.” I said. “Kaitlyn, how can I not?! He’s my best friend. I never keep anything from him. What makes you think that I can keep something this big from him?!” He shouted. “Because I love him!” I shouted back. “And William!” He shouted back. I was taken aback by this. I have never even heard myself say that I loved William. Clearly, I’ve thought it many times, but I have never heard the words out loud like I just did. “David, it’s not like that.” I said trying to convince him…and myself. I was feeling terrible. “Kaitlyn, I heard what you just said.” “Can we please talk about this?” I asked. “Kaitlyn -” “David, please. I need to explain this. I need someone to talk to. I mean, I tried talking to my mom and dad, but that didn’t help. I mean all I did was vent my feelings out, but that didn’t help solve it. So please, David. I need your help.” I said cutting him off. “I don’t want to be put in the middle of this. I don’t want drama on tour before it even starts!” He said. “There won’t be any drama if you just hear me out.” I said tugging on his arms and begging him. “Alright, we’ll go for some coffee, but it can’t be too long; I still have to pack.” He said. We both got into our cars and drove to the nearest café. While I was in the car, I thought about how tough this was going to be. David and I parked next to each other and then got a table for two in the back so people wouldn’t interrupt us. “David, I love Dan and nothing will ever change that.” I started. “Kaitlyn, I don’t think it’s possible to love two people like that at once though.” He said. “Well if you heard anything that I said, I said that I do love them both, but they’re different kinds of love.” “I just don’t think that it’s fair to Dan.” He replied. “I’m happy for once David. You know me. You know that my life hasn’t been the best. I want this relationship with Dan to last for the longest time ever, if not, maybe even forever. I love him so much. He’s my world. I wouldn’t be able to survive a day in this world without him. I don’t know what I would do if I lost him.” “I believe you, Kaitlyn; really, I do. I just don’t want him to hurt you or you to hurt him. I know that you and William are really close friends, but please try to keep it that way. If you break up with Dan for William, you’re most likely to lose him. He never keeps in touch with his ex’s. If you date William after dumping Dan and then end up breaking up with him, you’re relationship with William won’t be the same as it was before. I’m not saying that is what will happen, but it’s just my prediction.” **Hey, very short chapter, I know. I just figured that I would squeeze a little something in. I’m such a horrible writer; no need to tell me. I should just stop, but I am determined to finish this story. I hope everyone had a wonder Christmas and New Year’s. Tell me what your favorite thing for Christmas was. Mine has to be my Hollister jacket (I’m a prep; deal with it.) and Guitar Hero III. Oh, and my mom is also letting me buy a new iPod. I can choose whichever one I want. I have a tie between the iTouch and the iPod Classic. Which one is better? Thank you all for sticking with my through this story. I apologize; this story sounded way better in my head before I actually started to write it. So I really do appreciate all of you guys who have stuck with me from the beginning and your continuous comments and buzzes. [I feel like I’m giving a speech…] But thank you guys. You’re the best! [I really have to make my notes shorter. I’m boring you, aren’t i?]

December 22, 2007Draconigena: Part 6i changed area's spelling bc i wanted 2 XD ty 4 reading and leaving comments =) Lana's POV The three of us sleepily walked out of the plane completely agitated at each other. Saphira brought up Aria's stubborness and Aria snapped back with Saphira's annoying comments. I shook my head and silently yelled for them to pick up their bags. We were waiting for everyone to leave before we got off because unlike the alive-we saw things in the dark. Thus, we could get whatever people left behind after they left. It wasn't stealing necessarily, it was more like...finders keepers. I chuckled to myself as my sisters and I started settling down from the arguement a few minutes back and Saphira pointed out something behind one of the sluts in the row in front of us. "She brought a vibrator with her!" She tried to laugh silently so she wouldn't wake anyone up. Everyone had been asleep for a while. Even the noisy blonde chicks in the row in back of us began to drift off after talking about someone called Gerard. Ever since the day we were injected we haven't slept a single moment. We were living off other humans which also provided our nutrition needs. I guess that's why people call us anorexic! They never see us eat! I smiled to myself proudly. "Wow Lana, you just figured that out?!" I elbowed Aria for her smartass remark. "Stay outta my thoughts Aria" I felt a smile crawl on my face as we began to land. Saphira was gaping as she looked outside of the window. "Look at all the lights here! This place is huge!" Aria joined her as her jaw began to drop. "Chicago looks better in person than on the internet!" "Oh please Aria, the only thing you look up on there is gay porn." I guess I said that a little loudly because the people around us woke up suddenly and completely grossed out. I said sorry under my breath as the plane landed and pulled up to the gate.
Karma's POV I have to make sure I don't come off too strong or else I'll freak them out, but this is so exciting! I mean these are my friends, but they're from another part of the world! I love meeting new people and these girls had something spectacular awaiting them. I had everything planned out and hopefully I would change their lives forever! Their lives haven't even started yet! I watched people get annoyed about how happy I was as the plane came to the gate and began unloading passengers a few minutes later. I got out my sign reading My Little Santi's. It was our little joke from when I first met them. They would definetely get a smile out of that. First came a boy that was about eleven years of age...then an older couple...a overly buff man...and so I waited. Still eager, but curious to why they were not out yet. But I still didn't let it get in the way so I smiled again and waiting some more. And more. "Where are they?!" Suddenly three girls came off the plane. Their beauty was dimmed from their clothes, hair and make up, but none the less! They still would catch the eye of a guy when walking by. I waved to them slightly jumping. "Aria! Saphira! Lana!" I got their attention and they joined my smile with theirs as they walked over. The first thing I noticed about them up close was their eye color. It was the most stunning I had ever laid eyes on! "You guys! Oh my gosh this is awesome!" Wow that was lame of me to say. They laughed at the sign and gave me a hug all at once. "You are so beautiful Karma!" Saphira twirled me around while saying. "Thank you, you guys are beautiful, too! You have no idea how great of a choice this is-to come out here and start a new beginning! You guys are gonna love the U.S."
Saphira's POV We finally made it out to Chicago. It was like a dream come true. There were things here that I didn't even know existed. I mean technology was major. MAJOR! We didn't even have to use stairs which Egypt has all over the place. There were elevators and...things that you would stand on and would move you down the hall for you! There was even a ...shuttle? And it moved super fast! My sisters and I tried to walk back and forth on the bus and see who would fall down first as the curbs came along. So far Karma was just as crazy as us! Which was good because she was the one who welcomed us into her new apartment to live with her. "So are we gonna meet Dan anytime soon?" I didn't want to sound bored with her, I just wanted to see one of my best friends in person. Karma laughed. "You guys are so cute with your slight English accent!" Lana shrugged playfully. "Blame our old nanny." "Oh haha. Okay well Dan I told him that we were going to his house tonight, but I called him as you guys were setting up your stuff in your room. I decided that I would give you a makeover...because..." I watched her bite her lip out of anxiety. "I'm gonna try and get you guys jobs through him! It all starts with a makeover which starts tomorrow!" I was shocked and wasn't the only one. "Do we need it?" Aria asked a little offended. "No way! It's just..this job..well I don't want to spoil it! But it's because of it!" She skipped over to Lana and removed her glasses. "I'm going to get you contacts!" She skipped over to me. "I'm going to get your hair layered!" She then turned around to Aria. "And I'm going to make your hair extra gorgeous! Trust me guys it will be fun!" Lana began to feel the same way as hers. "We haven't had a makeover since our parents...since we moved out of their house!" I sighed out of relief. We had to make sure she didn't find out about our past.
Aria's POV We went to our room as Karma did to hers. There was a giant king bed decorated with black, red and grey linen and such. "These colors are kinda cool!" I said jumping onto the bed. "Well it sure isn't what we're used to dressing in, but I think they're cool, too!" Saphira said laying down next to me. "I guess I'll text Dan before he heads over here." I watched Lana reach for her cell phone and heading out the bathroom. Everytime Dan was mentioned he caught my attention, right away. I didn't want to feel this way in front of him and make a complete idiot out of myself. "Well I guess I'll go to sleep." Saphira turned to her side facing away from me. The only reason we slept were to have dreams which sometimes connected us with the dead considering we aren't technically alive, either. I pulled the sheets from her with such force she gasped. "My blankies!" And with that-we were asleep before we knew it.

December 16, 2007Draconigena: Part 5Ok so hopefully next weekend i will have a new part 4 silvermoon&stars and tara&destiny thnx 4 reading!!
Saphira's POV So over the last year my sisters and I have gone through a lot. It started off with the wonderful even of the FBI or the Egyptian government trying to kill our family off. They murdered our parents by framing us, but luckily we escaped into our second house before the police showed up. Our hypothesis was that they injected us with an unknown substance which apparantly altered something inside of us. We changed over night and ever since we have had to look out for each other. We were supposed to be dead with our parents. However, I'm glad some things stayed positive for us. See, we have decided to leave on a plane to go to live in the states with our friend Karma. Dan's mom tried to win the court over holding guardian over us, but that didn't work out. Dan actually was the one that suggested we live with her. We got to know each other more over website called buzznet. I mean we were so close we considered him a brother. He could tell you everything about us...except for our dark secrets. One of which was Lana came up with the idea of keeping the death of our parents. He thought we just wanted to start fresh and maybe go to a university in the states, but it was really just a decoy to try to live with him. We couldn't support ourselves forever here. We knew since the government here hated us they would have us leave considering we were only here because our parents worked here for the states. Finally we were getting a chance to leave and not have to be worried about who is after us. The states would actually be freedom because it gave us that second chance we have been working our asses off for. I stepped out of the van following my sisters as the driver helped us get the bags out of the trunk. "You ladies have a safe trip now." He quietly spoke barely looking at us. Lana replied with a thank you and we giggled at the way his scarf got stuck partly inside the trunk. "Come on we have to get through security and all that stuff before we can get to our gate!" She huffed and quickly wheeled her baggage into the air port. "Well you're the one who was taking forever to leave, Lana!" I smirked at Area's response to our panicking sister. "How long has it been since we have been in an airport?" I knew it had been a while. Everything was foreign and felt strange. Area glanced at me ."From the looks of people staring at us because we have no idea what we're doing-I'd say a few years." She gestured to all the people looking us up from head to toe. Either they have never seen identical triplets before or they're eye humping us.
Area's POV I laughed at what Saphira just thought. I replied to it by agreeing to the second one. "You guys know how feel left out when you do that" I watched Lana turn back around after sighing. I knew how much stress she was in. She was always that way. I on the other hand was enjoying this spontaneous burst of energy released from almost missing our flight. "Saphira, let's go get something to eat" I looked around at the stores we were passing as Lana got our tickets set and was heading off to the security check. "Area, after we get a seat at our gate-wait what do you mean by 'something to eat?'" I winked at her as she caught on to my hint. We all helped each other prop the bags off. "Why you guys? Are you feeling sick?" Lana questioned as she was taking her shoes off ready to walk through. "A little. I don't want to go on the plane and have to do eat on there." She squinted her eyes as to whether or not she would believe me. "Oh come on Lana!" Sephira pushed her jokingly. "Yeah, besides what if you need to, too?" Yes! We almost had her. She groaned and started her way across the aisle to our gate. Meanwhile, me and Saphira started our victory dance. We made Lana laugh at our dance as she sat down exhausted. "Okay you guys just...make sure you don't leave any crumbs. I mean, I might not be in the mood to save you two!" Saphira and I nodded quickly and walked off to see who would satisfy us. I waved at Lana who had nearly passed out. "Seriously though I am started to feel heartburn." I looked at Saphira concerned. "Okay then we need to hurry." We briefly watched each other's eyes to see if there was any sign of color change. Lucky for us there were two guys in a couple gates down that were eyeing us. We knew what they were thinking: Twins! Score! Yes it would be a score gentlemen. We smirked and headed our way over to their seats. Eagerly they sat up. We knew it was the right moment as we tried our best to hide the redness of our eye color in our eyes. Together we bent down and whispered to them in their ear. We told them just what they wanted to hear and before we knew it we were in a stall and reaching for our hand cuffs. We made them sit in the corners of the stall and we carefully gagged them. To their sick minds they were enjoying this. Seeing how we literally had control over them we climbed slowly and seductively over their bodies, sat in their laps, and forcefully sped up to bite their necks. We bit so had that they died instantly and our heart burn began to feel better as we drew in more of their blood. Thank god they weren't virigns or we would've had to wait. Sephira had to drink more than I did considering how she was hurting more previously. I watched her starting to form her usualy ice cover around the dead bodies. I twisted my arm just the right way to set their bodies on fire. Like our routine, the ice sheiled the smoke from the bodies so it wouldn't set off an alarm and instead would cause them to burn to ashes. We have been through this so many times it was just like a second instinct. Sephira let her arm down and the ice cover begin to melt from the heat under neath it. Before we escaped we looked at the pile of ashes in water. "Feel better?" I licked my lips which still had a drop of blood on them. "Yeah, thanks sis." She smiled at me and I contacted Lana. I told her that she should orb us to the ladies bathroom across from where she was sitting. She responded with a thought of how lucky we were to have her and with that we blinked once and appeared in an empty stall together. "Nervous for the plane ride?" Saphira started playing with her curled hair while we walked back to Lana. "Since we just recently saw Snakes on a Plane and we're on a red eye flight and you're a bad luck magnet-a little" I laughed. "Hey! Come on it was the only movie we haven't seen in the last month. We had to watch it." "Oooh, nice come back, genious. See I told you pretty people can't be pretty AND smart!" I stuck my nose up in the air walking faster. "I don't know whether or not that's a compliment?" She pulled me down into the seat next to Lana. "Do I even wanna know?" Lana asked opening one eye. I loved how we all tried to keep the mood light after we kept ourselves alive through others. I mean it wasn't our choice, but we had to or else we would die permanently and never come back. "It's nothing." I shrugged still smiling. "Man, I can't wait until we meet Karma. She sounds really nice." Lana said as she sat up more awake. "Yeah, but what about seeing Dan! We never saw him in person before!" Saphira clapped excitingly. I never thought about admitting it to them, but ever since we started getting closer I started having a crush on Dan. It wasn't for his looks, but for the old fashion "connection." I made sure Saphira wasn't hearing what I was thinking. I looked over and saw her and Lana talking. So Dan had been my most recent crush. I mean my sisters and I have been home schooled our whole life. We weren't around guys much at all. The guys we were around were the ones in public and most of them were annoying assholes. Plus he was a muscician and overall a complete gentleman. Maybe he would stop being so close to Saphira as a sister or Lana as a friend, but think of me maybe as a girlfriend. Who knows? I kept day dreaming about all the conversations we have had over the past year when Saphira nudged me and shoved my bag in my stomach. "Woah!" I sat up faster than I could finish my sentence in my head. "Stop day dreaming for once Area" Lana shook her head at me laughing. "Lana, you're just jealous" I got up and walked with them to the flight attendent. "Okay ladies...Lana...Saphira-" "It's Suh-pheer-uh" I watched Saphira get slightly annoyed with her mispronouncing her name. I knew it would be the same. "Saphira, excuse me...and Area, have a nice trip!" I winced at the sound of her pronouncing it wrong just as I guessed. I didn't really care, but it gets old after a while. I mean it was Ah-ree-uh. How fucking hard is that? I started getting sleepy as we walked down to our seats. Saphira kept annoying Lana by pointing out the guy who was eyeing her from the seat in the back. I smiled and plopped down in the window seat falling asleep even further.
Saphira's POV I woke up to shuffling from Lana's seat. I woke up trying not to wake up Area too much. I saw Lana's eyes started to form that reddish color. "I knew you should've did that at the airport!" I whispered as she pushed me back into my seat, annoyed. "I'll be back." Her voice was deepening a little bit. Thus, she had been waiting until we landed to do this but her body had to have it now. I watched her get up and work her seductive magic. I began to read the magazine that Area had at her feet. I strained to reach for it. "Seventeen? Ew." I tossed it back down and tried to fall asleep. But with my luck minutes passed and I got nothing. I was watching Area sleep talk when my attention was shifted to my right. Lana sat back down swalloing. "How did you not leave crumbs without our help?" She always needed us for the job. She smiled and laid back into the chair with her hands behind her head. "Did you eat the crumbs?!" I whispered my hardest as she looked at me satisfied. "Little sister...it's called a fire exit." "What?!" I couldn't believe what she just said. "I dropped his body out of the back of the plane." I stared at her with my eyes bulging out. "Only you, Lana."
