OK so just now my mom was talking about my cousin and how she was really pretty and cute as a kid. Then my dad goes "what about our daughter?" then my mom says  " Even a crow will say its child is beautiful"...............WTF?????? thanks mom thank you soooooooo much! it's not like I have an inferiority complex or anything! Thanks mom, no really comparing me to a big ugly bird no-one likes THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I choose to think of this in a positive way, so SCREW YOU MOM!

Hey you know what I heard a story once: Basically a parrot and a crow live in a tree together.All the birds who came to the tree to eat its fruit would see the parrot and give compliments to its beauty but then the other birds would fly away from the tree because of the ugly crow. So then the parrot starts to get all embarrassed of his friend the crow and told him to leave the tree to. So the crow flies off and then one day he sees a bird in a cage and it's his friend the parrot! Then the crow said to the parrot " Hey you were so beautiful that everyone envied your beauty but in the end the men who also saw your beauty encaged you  and made you speak like them in their voice. But me who you found to be ugly am still free and the men call me in MY own voice and feed ME before they themselves eat"*

*In South India its a common belief that crows are their ancestors who have been reincarnated and so whatever they make for the day they take little bits of it and put it on a banana leaf (well I think so because that's what I remember my grandma taking out the food in when I lived in India, never meat because that's just wrong, don't remember why =S) and also some water and they'd start cawing so the crow would come to them and eat. The people won't eat until a crow has been fed. So my grandma or grandpa would just stand there cawing their heads off till the crow came to eat. My mom converted into a christian so I'd eat before they or the crow did and feel sorry for them.

It reads a bit wrong because it's from my memory and I'm translating from my language Tamil.  

Yeah so basically all you pretty people are in a cage of and I'm a free bird HA!

but a singing bird
who sings a song
of suffering and death?

Idle happy songs
are better left
to lesser singers
with colorful plume
for they know not
what blackness
really holds
within itself...

Okay, so here is the what's on the DL. I think that I am crushing on Parker. How sad it is. Anyways, I am not going into detail. He has a girlfriend for God's sake! I am going to CA for spring break and I am so excited. More news... nope, find it in my story because it is more like a journal...
