crappy haiku movie review of the week - stand by me

as we all know, there's no shortage of movie review sites out there on the web. but who among us hasn't longed for movie reviews in the form of really crappily done japanese poetry? i know i sure have!

so once a week, i'll be dedicating a journal entry to a movie review in the form of a really crappy haiku.

this week's movie can't help but evoke a sense of nostalgia. a longing for a simpler time...a time when cigarettes were good for you, happily married couples on television slept in seperate beds, and boys could form lifelong bonds during wacky, wholesome trips to visit dead bodies. oh, and also, people could have family conversations without using @reply:

xXjustinxjugularXx @justinsmom1962 mom did u c mai red hoodie wit da dinosore? i cnt fnd it newhere.

justinsmom1962 @xXjustinxjugularXx o ya bb, i threw it in wit da stuff 4 da dry clnrs.

xXjustinxjugularXx @justinsmom1962 omfg mom i wz guna wear thta 2da mawl 2day :*( u fail.

justinsmom1962 @xXjustinxjugularXx d00d, your MOM fails! lawlz.

xXjustinxjugularXx @justinsmom1962 wait...what??

justinsdizzlefashizzle @justinsmom1962 @xXjustinxjugularXx on my way home frm wrk. boss is a douche. who wants chinese?

justinsmom1962 @justinsdizzlfashizzle OHAI frank! xD

xXjustinxjugularXx @justinsdizzlefashizzle OHAI dad! :D

-it's stand by me! (suggested by kassady)

stand by me

four geeky buddies

go hunting for a body

holy crap, leeches!

the end

p.s. feel free to hit me up with any suggestions, and you might just get to see one of your favorite movies summed up in a really crappy haiku...
