The Pie Project
I recently started watching the televison program called Pushing Daisies in which there is a great deal of pie baking. Feeling inspired, I decided to try and bake at least seven edible pies. Here are the results:
1. Apple Pie

The crust turned out well, and the filling was pretty good, but next time I'm going to peel the apples so they don't get oddly chewy. There was a lot of crust left over, so I used the cookie cutters we had and made a Christmas pie and a Bone pie.
2. Pumpkin Pie
I made three of these, but I only have one photograph, which is very unappetizing looking. This one was my favorite to make and to eat, and I think my family liked it as well, because they all ate at least two pieces.

3. Blackberry-Lemon Pie
This one was my own invention. The filling was just some fresh blackberries, water, sugar, lemon extract, and grated lemon peel. I liked it, but I didn't really have enough blackberries, so it looked a little sad.

4. Peach Pie
I don't have a photograph of this one, which is just as well, because it was pretty ugly. We only had whole-wheat flour when I made it, and although it is better for you, it doesn't work as well for cooking. So, here's a photo of the pie cooking aftermath:

So, there you have it.

I like how you were able to take such different photos of similar things such as pie...I think the apple-bone pie looks the best.
I want pie now.
