Twicon

Ok. SO as i checked today the twicon official page. Less than 500 tickets are available!(from 2500 tix) And it just reminded me of when i got the tix(back in december) no one hardly knew what that was. I posted it on the twilight myspace forum and no one knew what i was talking about.

I found out about twicon while me and my friends were studying for finals last semester. We found out thru Evil Iguana Production(those guys are hilarious!) whom we had been fans from since their Dark Knight Spoof. Being the fans we are of EIP we signed up just for a chance to meet the guys. Since then me and my friends have witnessed how this Twicon thing has evolve from a small event to a massive convention!

whici reminds me..i have a lot more planning to do.....

otakon

otakon was epic.

alright so we get there on friday.  wanderwanderwander for a while. say hi to old friends and stuff.  and basically just wait until it is time to start partying.  FINALLY after zaid got his food we were able to go back to their ( their being zaid, ugo, megan, veronica, gary, sam and rick) room and drink with them.  wow, we drank a lot.  ally ended up puking/passedout/crying on their bathroom floor for 5 hours. it was bad.  but i mean....i had a good time!  we went to the rave (that is we minus ally, kate and michelle) and danced.  we had to enlist the help of zaid, gary and rick to get ally back to our hotel, which was very nice of them.

saturday was basically just the same as friday all day, only i ate food.  i had a subway sandwich and it was delicious.  the day was spent walking around.  we went back to zaids room again and drank, then went to the rave. by the time we got to the rave i wasnt wearing a shirt. AWESOME.  i ended up walking around outside the con smoking not wearing a shirt.  i got more pictures shirtless than i did in cosplay which is pretty funny.  i met up with sydney at one point, and we went back to the rave for a while, then we went back to zaids room so i could get my things.  there was puke in the hallway which we later learned was from sam who spent the rest of the night passed out on the toilet.  anyway, since sam was alone in the room passed out, we had no way in to get my stuff.  we see gary and veronic and they need to get into the room too, but they dont have a key.  so we waittt and finally ugo and everyone else come! and we get in, and i get re-dressed!  after chilling in the room for a while me, sydney and michelle go on a makeout conquest, which leads to some pretty cute boys.  one whos name was actually james bond. like his parents ACTUALLY named him james bond. i saw his id, it was awesome.  but yeah.  eventually me and michelle went back to the room to sleep.

sunday i woke up, packed my stuff and then went to the con to say goodbye. it was depressing.  i hate leaving cons and otakon just felt shorter than the other ones had.

all in all it was a grand time!

San Diego Comic Con

The SuicideGirls are gearing up for Comic Con 2008 in sunny San Diego.  We are going to be there for Comic Con 2008, this July 23-27!  Comic Con 4 day passes have already sold out but one day passes are still available at the Comic Con Site.

Please stop by and see us in booth 433, we will have SG merchandise, live access to the website and over 30 lovely SuicideGirls ready to show you around our world, as well as a photo booth area set up so you can have your picture taken with your favorite SG.

Our model coordinating team will also be on hand to help girls who are interested in becoming SuicideGirls through the application process. We are going to have some exciting booth mates as well...The party is Saturday July 26th at the Abbey in the heart of downtown San Diego.

This year's theme highlights imagery of a society in the midst of a deadly pandemic viral outbreak.  With X-Sanguin VII, The Brotherhood brings you a distinctly dark and imaginative look at the world of gas masks, bio-suits and medical gear.  The VIP area will be hosted by the SuicideGirls and will include a dedicated bar, catered d'oeuvres, and complimentary champagne pours during the evening. Buy your VIP tickets here.  Buy your tickets in advance to ensure you get access to all the fun. Also featured at booth 433 are three talented artists who will be drawing pin-ups of SG's that will be sold exclusively at Comic Con.

We will have signings by both the artists and the models on Friday and Saturday from 11AM - 1PM in booth 433< a href="http://www.rblack.org/v2/">R. Black -  the poster art of R. Black is renowned for its elegant line, razor-sharp design, and dark pulp motifs, creating an instantly recognizable synergy of cool elegance and hot eroticism. Black's voluminous catalog of work includes striking images created for Bauhaus, Elvis Costello, Misfits, GWAR, Ministry, and countless more, plus numerous album covers, t-shirt designs, and magazine covers, He will be drawing Posh.

Brian Ewing - Brian Ewing is a San Francisco based Rock Poster Artist who has worked in the music industry since 2000.  For the past five years he has worked and toured with the Vans Warped Tour.  Brian has collaborated with such bands as Queens Of The Stone Age, Billy Idol, Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, Metallica,  The Bouncing Souls, My Chemical Romance and the Taste of Chaos Tour.  He will be drawing Meow.

Bawidamann - Having come a long way from browsing the bewitching nose art of vintage war birds at the local Air Force museum, Andrew Bawidamann is creating contemporary cheesecake pin-up art through his graphically oriented girls. Although his girls are reminiscent of a time when men were overseas at war, depending on their pin-up prints to satisfy, Bawidamann’s girls offer much appeal to today’s soldiers, tattoo artists, bikers, rockers and just about anyone with a fetish!  He will be drawing Chloe.

SuicideGirls will also be on hand to sign copies of the Hack/Slash comic book that features the SuicideGirls.  Missy will be speaking on a panel Thursday, JULY 24 6:00-7:00pm in ROOM 8 talking about the SuicideGirls involvement in the latest issue of Hack/Slash.  Read the daily pages at Cassie Hack's SuicideGirls profile.

Can't wait to see you this July in San Diego!

Hell City Tattoo Convention & Movement 2008

last month was crazy for me. i worked the Hell City Tattoo Convention in Ohio for Suicide Girls. i got to meet a lot of hot girls from the site and had a blast hanging with them at the booth AND at the bar of course :). we signed autographs and took a countless number of pics with fans. i didn't have the funds to get any new ink but it was cool watching all the tattoo work being done. not mention we were the official Trophy Girls of Hell City so we got to present awards to the best tattoos at the Con.

and i will be getting new ink soon, i'll take some pics as soon as its done.

then the weekend after that was Movement in Detroit, a three day electronic music fest they have every year. i go every year and its always a fucking blast. got drunk all day...everyday hehe :). saw some good friends, herd some great music and again had my pic taken about a million times :P

this month i laid low just hit the clubs on the weekends. but i've been busy getting myself ready for my Cali move! its coming up fast and i can't fucking wait. only thing i'm worried about is not having a computer for awhile cause i'm sure it'll take me a bit to get everything set up. but no worries, i'll be giving my computer plenty of love before i leave :)

Skelanimals and Conventions

went to Hot Topic last week and TONS of Skelanimals stuff was on sale!!! i cleaned them out, hehe. if your a fan hit up HT you'll get some cool stuff for a good price. i'll post pics when i get some good ones.

my newest photo is from a shoot i did at the Motor City Tattoo Convention in Detroit. i was working the Suicide Girls booth all weekend but found some time to shoot with the extremely talented Alissa Brunelli :) the set will be up soon on SG.

i'll be working another Tattoo Con for Suicide Girls called Hell City, in May. i LOVE doing conventions, one of the best parts of being an SG. you meet tons of other models from the site, not to mention all the cool kids that attend the cons. then the weekend after that i'm going to DEMF in Detroit. i know its not called that anymore but they changed the name so much in the past i just stick with it. DEMF stands for the Detroit Electronic Music Festival, its a three day techno fest they have every year right in downtown Detroit. i go EVERY year, i think this is my 6th time but whole the hell keeps count. i'm excited :):) April is like my month off, first time not traveling in awhile but after that May hits i'll be ALL over the place!
