Raimi drags three more to 'Hell'

The web is abuzz today about the additional casting updates for "Drag Me to Hell," the Sam Raimi horror film that everyone seems to be talking about.
Today we learn that Jessica Lucas of "Cloverfield," TV star Lorna Raver and the versatile character actor David Paymer have all heeded Raimi's call and joined the cast. They join Alison Lohman and Justin Long who were already on board.
In addition to just the normal casting announcement, they also issued some character descriptions which give us a hint of what the movie is about. So far we have learned that Alison Lohman's character (Stephanie) is a young woman who becomes the recipient of a supernatural curse. We now also know that the curse was placed there by "Mrs. Ganush," a proud Eastern European woman with an "old-world belief system" who lashes out in vengeance "when defied and humiliated." Raver will play Mrs. Ganush, Lucas joins as Stephanie's best friend and roommate, and Paymer will play Stephanie's boss at the bank where she works.
Raimi wrote the screenplay with his brother, Ivan. Principal photography begins on Monday in Los Angeles.
