MyChurch.org is a free online tool for churches to extend their communities between Sundays. 30,000 churches have created a social network for their congregation using MyChurch.

Each church community on MyChurch has tools specifically designed for a church to engage its members - a sermon and media library, a bulletin board for announcements and prayer requests, an event calendar to organize church activities, small groups for ministries and community groups, a classifieds board for church members to share haves and needs with each other, and tools for members to share their stories through blogs, Bible verses, pictures, and videos.

There are premium subscriptions available for a monthly fee for churches that want more disk space, support, and features (see the FAQ for more details).

MyChurch is run by a team of Christians who are passionate about bringing social networking to the church. Customer support is available for anyone at an upgraded church, as well as moderators of all churches.

A modern look at religion.

I don't think that it has done either harm or good. I think that PEOPLE are the ones that take things to the extreme, THEY are the ones that have done more harm than good!

Personally I'm Christian, I believe in God, I pray every night before bed, I ask for guidance and help, my beliefs give me peace at times.

I have NEVER felt the need to bomb an abortion clinic, march outside a soldiers funeral spewing hate filled dialog, I don't think that I'm superior to anyone else in their religion or beliefs. I believe in a live and let live policy, I don't force my views or beliefs on anyone else.

The Bible has never started a war...People that read the bible and misinterpret it have.
