(Brittany's Pov)

School just ended and I was walking to my car.  All of a sudden I was on the ground and my books that were in my hand were scattered all over the parking lot.  I turned around and saw Donnie standing there with a smirk on his face.  I knew he pushed me and he automatically started hitting me.

"Please stop."  I begged with tears going down my face.

I didn't know what I did to make him hit me but he kept hitting me and kicking me.

"You cheated on me!"  He yelled

We had an audience now and his friends were laughing.  I shook my head no.  I didn't cheat on Don.  We've been going out for 2 months and I decided to break up with him last week cause I knew he was cheating on me.

"No,you cheated on me!"  I yelled back

He punched me hard in the face and I knew I was going to have a black eye.  I tasted blood and I raised my hand to my face.  I looked at my hand and there was blood.  I was bleeding from my nose.  Donnie was going to hit me again but he was interrupted mid-slap.

"Stop it right there Donnie!"  A guy yelled.

Donnie spun around and face the guy.  I couldn't see cause Donnie was standing in front of me.  I was on the ground leaning on my hands so I could block Donnie's hit.  I try to get up but I couldn't.  My side started hurting every time I try and my head was killing me.  My knees were scraped up and bleeding.

"This is no of your business so leave!"  Donnie said angrily.

 

(Donnie's Pov)

I didn't know what Ritter wanted but I was having fun before he interrupted me.

"You should leave Donnie before I call the cops." Ritter said with a smirk.

"You ain't got no proof."  I said smirking.

"Oh yea?"  He asked as he got in my face.

He motioned for one of his friends and I saw that it was Wheeler.  He walked up holding up a video camera.

"I have proof and you better leave."

 

(Brittany's Pov)

I was trying to see who Donnie was talking to but Donnie was getting furious.  I try to stand up again but fell when my sides started protesting in pain.  I looked around and everyone was still standing around in a big circle.  No one came over to help me so I did was sit on the ground and watched.  I saw a guy walking over towards me and smiled at me.  He dropped his books on the ground and bended down next to me.

"You okay?" He asked

"Yea I think.  My sides hurt and my head does to."  I said

"Look,I going to help you okay?"

I nodded.  I looked at Donnie and he was watching the guy.  The guy lifted me up with ease and started walking.

"Nick,please pick the books up."  The guy said I guess to his friend.

"Where are you taking me?"  I asked

"Somewhere safe."

I got a good look at this guy and he was cute.  He had short dark brown hair and the most beautiful blue eyes.  I looked behind him to see Donnie running towards us.

"Watch out!"  I yelled

All of a sudden a guy got in front of Donnie and started hitting him.  I was placed into a car and buckled in.  I watched the guy get in and he started the car. 

"What about my car?"  I asked

He looked at me.

"Chris will take it home for you."  He said

"Oh."

"Who are you?"

He laughed.

"I'm Tyson Ritter and I'm in your music class."  He said

"Oh,I'm Brittany Winters."

"I know."  I said

Tears started going down my face and I wiped them away.  I pulled down the visor and looked in the mirror. I gasped.  I looked hideous and I was right about my eye.  It was black and my nose was swollen with dried blood crusted around it.  My blonde hair was everywhere and I had a couple of cuts on each of my cheeks.

"We're here."

I put the visor up and looked out the window.  Tyson parked in front of a 2 story white house and a swing on the porch.  Another car pulled up behind us and parked.

"Where is here?"  I asked

"My house."

He got out of the car and I unbuckled myself.  Tyson opened the door and helped me out.  Once we were in his house we went up to his room.  He put me on the bed and disappeared into the bathroom.  He came out with a first aid kit.  He walked over to me and started cleaning my cuts.  I winced when he got to my nose.

"Sorry."  He said

"It's fine."  He said

He finished and he looked at me.

"Lift up your shirt please." He said

I nodded and lifted up my blood stain pink t-shirt.  He reached out and started touching my sides.  I took in a deep breath and he pulled away.

"Your ribs are broken so I need to wrap them in a ace bandage." He said

"Okay."

I let him wrap the ace bandage around my waist then I put my shirt down.  He looked at me and smiled. He was so close to me that I could smell his breath.  Next thing I knew he kissed me.  I kissed back and he pulled away. He got up and ran his hand through his hair while pacing his room.

"I'm sorry." He said

I smiled.

"It's fine."  I said

I got up slowly and winced at the pain that shoot up all through out my body.  I walked over to him and put a hand on his shoulder.  I spun him around and looked at him.

"Donnie is going to kill me when he finds out I kissed his girlfriend."  He said panicky.

I laughed.

"I broke up with him a week ago and Donnie doesn't own me."  I said

I was going to say something else but a knock on the door stopped it.

"Come in."  Tyson said

The door opened and 3 guys came in.  I smiled at them.

"Hey guy,this is Brittany."  Tyson said

"Brittany, this is Nick,Chris and Mike."  Tyson said pointing to each of them as he said their name.

"Hey guys."  I said

"Hey."  They said

"Here's your keys."  Nick said handing them to me.

"Thanks."  I said as I put my keys in my pocket.

"How do you know where I live?"

"You live 2 houses down from Nick."  Tyson said

I nodded.

"I guess I should get going."  I said

"No."  Tyson said suddenly.

I looked at him. 

"I mean I'll drive you." He said

I laughed.

"Thanks."

He grabbed my hand and we walked out of his room.  We walked downstairs and went out the door.  We got into the car and he drove me home.  He pulled up in front of my house and I unbuckled myself.  I turned around and kissed Tyson.  I like him alot actually but I never knew his name.  He was surprise at first but he kissed me back.  I pulled away and got out of the car.  I turned around and poked my head in the passenger side window.

"I like you too."  I said

I pulled my head out and started walking up the walk way.  I was about to unlock the front door when I was spun around and kissed on the lips.  I smiled and kissed back.

"Be my girlfriend?"  Tyson asked

I smiled.

"Sure."  I said

He smiled and kissed me again.  He pulled away and ran to his car.  I smiled and turned around.  I unlocked the door and shut it when I got inside.  I threw my keys on the table and slid down the door.  Tyson was so sweet,caring and cute.  I knew I made the right decision when I dumped Donnie.  Tyson was perfect for me and I knew he wasn't going to hurt me.  I smiled and got up.  I walked to my room and climbed into my bed.  I couldn't wait to see Tyson again.

 

 

 

The club had been bumpin for hours. They arrived after midnight and began hosting and djing. The songs they chose to be played were from musicians Journey, Bon Jovi, & Rick Springfield to name a few. They handed out 2 rounds of jello shots to the eagerly awaiting crowd. A little after 1:30am they quietly made their exit.

argghhh!! My father is cooking and now my eyes are burning!!! I should take a picture of my cooking induced tears but, I shall not. Takes too much memory. Sorry kidies. lol.

Today, was truly magical in the city!! I'm so happy!!! It is spring! SPRING! SPRING! I wore a very pretty hot pink dress with tiny white pokla dots, my 6 in. straw wedges, and my nails are actually painted hot pink as well! [O.P.I-Thats Berry Daring] <--Isn't that adorable?? haha. anyway! Today started out a bit shaky but then I got to talk to a pal and we hung out in the sun and it was fantastic! Went to the diner and the hung out in the very romantic gazebo and were approached by an adorable gentleman named Bruno. This adorable little tyke wanted to hang out and kept on hugging me and my friend. His nanny said he is quite the player-and I believe it! haha.

My friend, btw, is not a guy. I just said that gazebos are romantic cause, damnit, they are! haha-Have you ever been in one? Its amazing! I love it! Especially when there is a swinging bench in it. Or just a plain bench! But, sadly this one didn't have anywhere to sit, so I was just walking back and forth and my friend sat on the banister or whatever you call it.

Well, my loves, I must go- I have homework- A giant paper dude talking about Sociolgy and whatnot...I'm not thrilled...at all...I'd rather be daydreaming about Chris Gaylor (Drummer from AAR) and laying on the grass smellling spring as it awakens slowly. SSIIIGHHHH!!!!-----I love spring!!!

"It really took right up until the mastering process until we were like "OK…maybe it's a good record!", and once we kinda had it done and we all walked away for like, a week and then we're like "OK! This is pretty decent. We can deal with it!"...
