Chuck's Perspective

Ok seriously people what is it about Justin Bieber that just makes me want to jump up and down?

I seriously don't get it. That kid - yes I see him as a kid even though we're like the same age - is crazy awesome

But I fucking hate his new single. It's true. I believe he says 'shawty' in it...

That's sad... he seriously needs to stop hanging out with Usher, I mean fuck, a 13 white boy can't say 'shawty' it's a known fucking fact

Also the 'One Time' video was stupid as! It was a 13 year old's version of some Chris Brown video

But what I really hate about it is the fact that it's so fucking electronic. Just now I've been watching some of his acoustic youtube videos, and he's incredible.

And these people recruited him because he is incredible but then they go and fucking robot his voice up?

That's bullshit! I don't think he deserves to be treated like that I mean seriously I think he would be MUCH better off if they didn't

But anyway, I don't know what it is about that kid but I seriously just want to hug him.

Maybe it's the hair cut? I don't know?

but this kid is going to be like the next Chris Brown - before the whole 'Ima beat you down woman!' thing. Seriously like he's got the talent, he can dance aswell but they're making his voice sound so fake

and because what he sings about, I always hated Chris Brown

But I'm predicting that if I was to make a Decade recap in 10 years, Justin Bieber's break down will be there. *nods*

And I hate that just as much as all of you but I'm pretty sure about it.

I do want to meet him though, he doesn't exactly seem like the guy I'd hang out with... maybe in 10 years he will, but still I want to see what he's like, he seems like a pretty genuine dude

So anyways people, that was just a little rant I felt like getting out and I haven't had breakfast yet so Ima go do that now

Buzz if Justin Bieber's high notes get you crazy

What Is A Fan?

Yesterday night, Rihanna went on 20/20 and was interviewed about the abuse she faced with Chris Brown.  Obviosuly I've heard both singers ont he radio but never was I a real fan of either.

Then Chris Brown beat Rihanna.  It was everywhere.  Pictures were seen, rumors were slipped.  How much do we know about that night?  The closest thing to nothing.  We don't know why he hit her, do we?  Nope.  The only ones aware of it are Rihanna and Chris Brown.  But could Rihanna actually have done something to deserve getting beaten the way he did?  NO!  I've seen the pictures and I'm sure you have too.

The worst thing is that Chris Brown fans stand up for him.  And most of them are teen girls!  After seeing the interview they still are backing him up.

Today, I went on YouTube and I saw a Chris Croker video.  I'm not a fan of him, but for some reason, I came across it.

He made a point.

Chris Brown's Comeback Song - I Can Transform Ya FT Lil Wayne

Chris Brown's Comeback Song - I Can Transform Ya FT Lil Wayne

After certain *cough* events earlier this year, we've always said that if Chris Breezy wants to comeback badder (or at least as bad as) ever, he'll need one Hell of a comeback single. We're talking We Belong Together magnitude here. He'll need to come harder than he's ever come before, dance harder than he's ever danced before, and sing better than he ever has before.

Now, all that said, we got this in our inbox about an hour ago, and have heard it a few times. It's the kinda song you really 'get' after a few listens, but, after that the 'I can transform ya' becomes crazy infectious. The beat is a bit weird but in a good way. If you get our drift. Is he coming quite hard enough, though? That remains to be seen. That and whether people have really forgiven him for those events we mentioned earlier.

No VERDICT cause we haven't made our minds up, yet...

Chris Brown Twitter Fued With Tila Tequila

So it has recently reported that Chris Brown has a "TWITTER BEEF" with me, Tila Tequila.  I guess it started off one night when I was tweeting about domestic violence and used Chris and Shawne Merriman as an example.  With that Chris Brown thought it would be a good idea to respond by verbally attacking me on twiiter, to which he said:

"I keep hearing Tila bringing my name up. Ur 15 seconds of fame has ended. Dont try to gain fans by dissing me.godbless"

Well all I have to say to that is, I apologize if he felt like my tweets were so threatening to his "career" that he had to respond. I was in NO WAY "tryna" "gain fans by dissing him" because clearly, being in the position that he is in now, I would have just left it alone because at the end of the day, it makes him look no better than it does me. Responding to another woman who is also a victim of domestic violence won't help his case any, so maybe his PR team should have told him that before he decided to retaliate.

Either way, I give him props for manning it up now and doing what he needs to do and try to move forward from the past now. We all makes mistakes but the important thing is that we learn from them and BECOME A BETTER PERSON through our downfalls. I just hope that Chris has really learned his lesson and God Bless him. I have nothing but love for the guy and I wish him the best. That 180 days and 5 weeks of Domestic Violence meetings ain't no joke! But hey....a lot of other people actually went to jail, so he should be thankful.

As for myself, yea, maybe I shouldn't have added Chris Brown's name during my rants about Domestic Violence because that should have just been for Shawne Merriman, so for that, I do apologize! We live, and we learn! God Bless!

"Celebrity" Rehab with Dr. Nonsense - Week of 7/27/09

The middle of this letter is supposed to be funny in parts, but I really want you guys to take the last few paragraphs seriously. I am not trying to make light of such a serious situation, I'm only trying to show kids my age how STUPID they're being.

- Evey

Dear Internet,

I weep black tears for my generation.

Once upon a time, in a magical land called Los Angeles, a young up-and-comer named Chris Brown went out with his girlfriend, Rihanna, a young has-already-arrived. What happened that night has been reported on, speculated about, featured on television specials, and has brought many alarming statistics to light.

20% of 13 - 14 year olds know someone who has been hurt by a partner.

Because of the recent "apology video" issued by CB, I decided to write a special Dr. Nonsense letter to analyze the comments made by this young star's fans. This letter is in equal parts funny and disturbing.

And...we're off.

#1 - Stupid comment! Get a grammar teacher!

#2 - So, call me. That way you, commenter #1, and I can all go shopping for a life together! And for a "boo." Do you mean the character from the Mario and Luigi games, though? 'Cause he's a little scary.

#3 - I was not aware that this woman, by any stretch of the phrase, "looks like a man":

#4 - Alas, I wish no one had said Rihanna deserved it, but as many commenters have pointed out, "ZOMG YUSS RIHANNA TOTES DID DEZERVE IT!i!@11ONE!! 1!!!!" Perhaps as President of the "CHRIS BROWN 4 LYF!!11" fanclub, you should know these things. As President of the Patrick Stump's scented sideburns fanclub, I have had to do extensive research. EXTENSIVE, I SAY!

#5 - "If I would U I'll kill myself..." Please explain this phrasing. Also, no. Jesus will not kill this poor girl. He is too busy dealing with raptor problem in Micronesia.

#6 - NO! VIOLENCE BEGETS VIOLENCE!

#7 - Short, not so sweet, and to the point. HI, I'm capital letters - perhaps you've heard of me?

ROUND TWO!

#8 - If I were "high and drunk," as you so eloquently put it, I would NOT be in a car. I would also not be with my significant other in a car, because I would have the common sense to know I should not be driving someone I love around when I am "high and drunk." ALSO, Chris Brown is NOT OLD ENOUGH TO BE DRINKING; THEREFORE, YOUR ARGUMENT IS INVALID.

Also, "less sexier?" SERIOUSLY? How long have you been speaking English?

#9 - "Think you know wut happened not even something that sexy won't go like that."

...WTF.

#10 - He is still sexy? Maybe because his significant other didn't PUNCH HIM IN THE FACE.

#11 - What he does with "his" women? I was unaware that Rihanna is a POSSESSION. Go back to the 1700's and let old Angel teach you a lesson. (Yes, that was a Buffy the Vampire Slayer reference.)

ROUND THREE!

#12 - My old great-great-grandpappy had a saying... "Behind every good person is a good stylist." And, judging on what he was wearing in his apology video...he's not one of those good people.

ROUND FOUR!

#13 - I am afraid I don't know how to "lukn" in the mirror. After Googling this word, I am still rather unclear on what you want me to do here. You can send me a message on Buzznet with your name, address, and $317.89 in cash if you wish to tell me.

#14 - You are not very "alWISE," are you?

#15 - SOME!@#*)(* ONE)@(*@)(# IS)!@*)(#* ABUSING @)(*@(!)!#)!(* THE)(@*!)(SHIFT !*)!@(*KEY!

Am I the only one who never found Chris Brown attractive?

#16 - He looves you, too! He just shows it by BITING PEOPLE.

ROUND FIVE!

#17 - I'mmmm sorrrryyy there arrrre toooo mannnnyyyy consonantsssss forrrr meeee to understannndddd thisssss commenttttttt.

LAST ROUND!

#18 - Yeah, hitting your girlfriend/boyfriend is bad, but, as you put it, WHTEVERSSSS. We're obviously all overreacting!

Or are we?

Seriously, people. Whether Chris Brown's apology was genuine or not, it is NEVER okay to hit somebody - ever. I remember last summer there was the "Free Travis" group when Travis McCoy smashed a microphone over someone's head for insulting him. And yes, that's bad, and apologies were in order on both sides of that conflict. However, when you are in a relationship - something that's supposed to be loving and honest and gentle, violence has no place there.

And I know my advice is usually stupid and just for comments, buzzes, and laughs, but. Really. Wake up, you guys.

-  Dr. Nonsense.

Unfortunately, "The Patrick Stump Scented Sideburns Fanclub" does not exist. But I am willing to get that phrase copyrighted.

Song Battles Part 2, Steph's Edition

Part 1 was fun. now this is more fully loaded and funner [by all means it's a word].

1st up:

Ne-Yo vs. Kelly Clarkson: "Because of You" and "Miss Independent"

ahh, Ne-Yo. a repeat offender. or maybe he's just a huge Kelly fan? that's cool. but hey, as a songwriter, you should at least try to come up with some original titles.

_________________________________________________________________________________

Stereos vs. LFO - "Summer Girl" vs. "Summer Girls"

i honestly cannot stand Stereos. although they're Canadian (and i fully support Canadian bands), they sound like a weird mix of Metro Station and heavily Auto-Tuned rap. but at least a straightforward song about a summer fling is way better than having to hear a song about Chinese food making you sick.

_________________________________________________________________________________________________

Prince vs. Tay Zonday - "Purple Rain" vs. "Chocolate Rain"

Prince (or , or whatever you like to call him) is one of the most influential black artists in rock and roll. Tay Zonday is one of the most influential black artists on Youtube. both songs deal with similar themes. although, with all respect to Prince, i've gotta give it to the underdog Tay cause his song is ridiculously catchy.

__________________________________________________________________________________________

The Script vs. Chris Brown - "Talk You Down" vs. "Take You Down"

The title of my fave Irish lads' song suggests verbal abuse. Chris', on the other hand, suggests physical abuse [coincidental much?]. Which one do you think is more appropriate?

___________________________________________________________________________________________

The Fray vs. 3OH!3 - "Trust Me" vs. "Don't Trust Me"

I've got one thing to say to you: Which band would you tell your deepest secret and feel trusted? (hint: possibly not 3OH!3)

________________________________________________________________________________________

Pat Benatar vs. Jordin Sparks - "Love Is A Battlefield" vs. "Battlefield"

Jordin says that Pat is one of her greatest influences. This is evidence.

so everyone, part 2 is now finito! don't worry, I have more in store for you next time. until then, comment on these Song Battles!

Chris Brown's Apology: Late and Later

Hello Buzznet. As you have probably heard, on Monday Chris Brown's record label posted a Youtube video on his channel apologizing for having a fight with Rihanna that left her battered and bruised (aka for beating her up).<

object width="320" height="265"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/n4SD6oBvbKY&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/n4SD6oBvbKY&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="never" allowfullscreen="true" width="320" height="265"></embed></object>

See that video? Let's take a second to look at what he did to Rihanna.

<a href="http://s285.photobucket.com/albums/ll80/mArYiSfAbBiTyFaB/Decorated%20images/?action=view&current=rihanna-bruised-face-picture-01.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll80/mArYiSfAbBiTyFaB/Decorated%20images/rihanna-bruised-face-picture-01.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br><br>

my only response being

<a href="http://s285.photobucket.com/albums/ll80/mArYiSfAbBiTyFaB/?action=view&current=chrisbrown-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll80/mArYiSfAbBiTyFaB/chrisbrown-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

But this guy's response is better

<object width="480" height="295"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/OZFXzGSPu7U&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/OZFXzGSPu7U&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="never" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="295"></embed></object>

So what do you think? Is Chris Brown a 'Rolemodel' now, or is he still an ass?

Shontelle's Blog: Blowin' Up (March 18, 2009)

I know I'm waaaayyyy behind with the blog but I'm back! Soooo much has gone down since the last time I checked in with you guys.

Here's what has happened in my life since we last chatted: OBAMA became President (proud to have my song "Battle Cry" on his Yes We Can compilation album). I went to the Confessions of A Shopaholic premiere in NYC (my new single featuring Akon "Stuck With Each Other" is the title track from the movie and is featured both in the movie and on the soundtrack. We wrapped up the New Kids on the Block tour in the UK. I went to my first Grammys...

The Grammys were amazing but spoiled for me by the Rihanna/Chris Brown incident because she is a friend, and I love her. I was so sad and disappointed about the entire series of events. I attended a huge cosmetics convention where I represented VEET (I'm the new face...and LEGS of that brand). I worked with Do Something (dosomething.org) on some very important PSAs. I enjoyed many New York Fashion Week shows and parties.

I performed at an amazing charity event with Conde Nast Publications where celebs and regular folks alike donated dresses for girls who cannot afford to buy nice dresses for their proms and some of the dresses were auctioned to help raise funds towards this as well.

I taped a reality show for Hearst Publications that's similar to Project Runway. Guess what! I am the host of the show! Three students were selected from the High School of Fashion and Design in NYC to compete to design a dress for Kat DeLuna -- it was a surprise for them! Kat will wear the winning design on the red carpet of Universal Motown Records' Annual Ultimate Prom! I had such a blast meeting the three girls and mentoring them. Check my Kyte TV player for a short update from myself and Kat. I'll keep you guys posted about when the show will air and all the deets! It's so fab! FASHION FASHION FASHION ROCKS!!!

I went back to London for a photoshoot and to tape the UK's biggest music show on Channel 4, The Album Chart Show. I performed an acoustic version of "T-Shirt," hosted a Top 50 countdown and also performed "Stuck With Each Other" with Akon and his band! It was amazing!

I'm about to head to LA to shoot my third music video ("Battle Cry"). Do you have any cool ideas? Hit me on Twitter, Myspace or Facebook and let me know what you think!

Also, if you want updates on what's going on with me from day to day make sure you FOLLOW me on TWITTER and stay tuned to my KYTE TV channel for LIVE video and chats. You can also check out and join my #1 fansite ShontelleOnline.com for the best and fastest updates about what's going on with my career, pictures, videos, performances and everything Shontelle! They even have a Facebook Fan Page. Don't forget to join my community on my website, where you can talk to me and other fans and share anything you like!

YOU guys are the reason I even have a career and things are really starting to blow up! Thanks to YOU and your support, I'm even heading to Japan in April for a huge music festival called Spring Groove. I'll be keeping you posted on all that stuff plus my upcoming European Tour!

Hugs n Kisses n Nuff Luv!
XOXO

Complications [Chapter One]

So,I Will only keep this updated if you want me to. I havent written it in ages, so if i do this i reckon it will help me to keep up a bit.

Chris sighed as he realised school started tomorrow. New term. New football team. New Freshmans. Oh, and he was a senior, meaning he would basically rule the school.Jaelyn just sent him a text; Hey Georgeous, meet me tomorrow. - J x, She was perfect for him, she was the prettiest girl in school, tall, dark haired, blue eyes, cheerleading captain, and he was a jock, half-cast, popular. He rolled over still exhusted after last night. God, his head hurt as he remebered all the alcohol he drunk. And then Jaelyn. Oh God Jaelyn. He silently wished he didnt do what he did last night. He regretted it like hell. He was suprised he even remebered. He lumbered downstairs, tripping over the last step. His dad was reading the newspaper, making it rustle whenever it creased down. Breakfast was already on the table. Mmm-hmm, His mum made the best pancakes. Do you reckon anyones gunna hear your voice this year?' His dad said behind his glasses. Singing. Of course. He'd forgotten about that. Chris murmered, too interested in this new sensation trickling into his throat. After this, he stumbled back upstairs to return a call from Jaelyn. 'Yeah, I'll come now if you want, I'll meet you in the park.' He put his best colonge on, making sure his reflection seemed perfect. Jaelyn and a few of his jock friends were going to be in the park. He couldnt make a mistake, as everyone looked up to him.

'Hey Baby' whispered Jaelyn, passionatly kissing him letting his tounge slide onto hers, letting the warmth of his mouth touch hers. He said a casual 'Hi' nodding his head to indicate this to his friends. 'Hey man, where did you go to last night?' said Lemar. Chris didn't answer, weather he was too embarrassed or too tierd, instead he just replied: 'Ya'll gunna run out for football this year?' a breif mumbling spread across the group. However, Chris took this to be a yes. 'Chrissy, will you take me to Hannah's? Her dads out and she says me and the girls can come hang out.' He had no choice. Sometimes he thought he only loved her because she was popular. He looked at Lemar in a sort of way, as if to say: Sorry. They drove off, talking about anything that came up. Chris only had one question to ask her, know they were alone.

'What happened last night?' But all the replied was: 'Dont worry. you enjoyed it.' Which left him even more confused.

Damn. He'd have to get used to this alarm clock again. He rubbed his eyes, and turned the stupid thing off.'Ugh.' he moaned. He got up, quickly changing into fresh clothes, and packed his equpiment into a string bag. When he got downstairs, the kitchen was deserted. Hmm. Ma and Dad seemed to have lied in. Lucky. He made himself a quick bowl of cereal, and swigged it down with milk.Oh no. Jaelyn was walking up the path. He muttered something. He did love her, but he wished she wouldnt treat him like her personal butler. He grabbed his car-keys and made a dash for the door.'Hey sexy' she greeted. Mmm. He smelled so good in the morning. Hand in hand, they set off for the car. It was a nice car. Of course, him being the jock it was like this in any typical High-school story. They arrived at school, barely talking to each other on the journey. First lesson bell rang. That means it was Vocals. New groups. Oh God. He hoped him and his mates wouldn't be split up again, since they were all singing. This term boys picked the group name they would be joining out of the hat. Lemar got into a group where most of their boys were. Crap. He suddenley didnt want to be in their with him anyway. Him now. He didn't really know wear he wanted to be placed. He didnt know half the people here, the rest were His mates or Cheerleaders. 'Group C..' he said to himself. He ambled over there. 'Hey!' said Hayley Williams. Their leader. Who was she? A new girl? Oh. Apparently not. 'Hey.' he muttered. Today all they were doing was introducing themselves and what they could do. For Chris this was singing. And he loved it. Hayley partnered with him..

'So, whats your background?' asked Hayley. 'Urhmmm, well. dad, he inspired me alot, if that counts? You?' Hayley laughed. Yes. I suppose it can.' She gave him a smile, to show he had earned her friendship. 'My dad walked out on me and mum when i was 11.' You could tell by the tone of her voice this still hurt her. 'Sorry.' Was all Chris could say. Hayley sighed. then coughed. 'Anyway, its the past. A part of me wanted to grow up without him anyway. So-' Chris' phone toned. 'Sorry, i have to take this its my Girl- its Jaelyn.' he said, without knowing why he didnt say girlfriend. 'Its okay. if shes your girlfriend.' she smiled. After an awkward pause you could hear the agitated girl on the other line.

'Sorry 'bout that' he shamefully said. They got on with their Vocals work, which was easy.Chatting, smiling and sharing jokes. Jaelyn usually glared at Hayley behind Chris' back, but she just glared back and continued laughing with Chris. Anybody who saw this would be able to see a bond between them- Although only in this lesson.

The Blame Game: Chris Brown & Rihanna

Oh hey, remember the Chris Brown / Rihanna incident? The one where Brown beat Rihanna? And about a week ago, entered a not guilty plea? Right. Let's talk about that, shall we?
