Dear Diary
Why do i feel like I'm ahead of my time, most of the world seems so narrow minded and I'm just wondering if its already nearly 2010 when are we all going to learn to accept each other as human beings and stop putting up categories to divide us. There are a million lists that society wants to place every person in (white,Mexican,gay,straight,poor,rich) if something that you do is out of the "norm" from the list you are put into then you are viewed as some kind of weirdo. Are we really living in the times of the Salim witch trials where if you do something out of the normal your hung and called a witch ? In a way i think we are
we spend so much time focused on the differences that we fail to see the similarities. we fear the unknown when we should explore the unknown
So when the rest of the world catches on and opens its mind up to new ideas and new people Then and only then can there be any kind of peace
So next time you see something a bit odd or out of the normal for you instead of judging that person why don't you keep an open mind and encourage there individuality and there courage to be themselves,
Then you can sleep at night knowing you helped make the world a better place that day
