Ok, so this was not one of my more brilliant decisions, taking pictures of bees in their hive. Especially when you're somewhat allergic to the stings!! And yes, 'tis another,"something in a tree" photo!! :) But, I just could'nt help it! And look at this guy, I think it's an evil demon bee...needless to say, I did not linger here long!!!

It was so cute on Sunday- Brooke came up to me and she was like, "Andi, there's a giant hornet nest in one of your trees..." She was really concerned about it.

Evan got stung yesterday, we gotta get rid of this thing!!!

It's not a bee hive, it's a hornet nest !!!! be very careful around this because they are extremely aggressive. And never try to get rid of it yourself especially spraying something on it. Either call an exterminator or just keep a good distance away from it......If you were to get stung by just one of these hornets the rest of them will come after you if they feel threatened. The one that stings you leaves an odor that every one from the nest can track : /

Oh dear!!! I better make sure my son stays way far away from it, he said all he did was walk by and got stung! =O
