Photo Robert ~1979
I was hanging in the Davis California college music scene - taking, what else?, photographs - my nickname was Photo Robert... I sort of didn't fit in because it was the era of new wave and punk, and I had long hair - also, I'd started college at 22, so was a few years older then most of the kids... anyway, it was fun... some good memories, some bad, but ALL the musical memories are good!
Tomorrow is my birthday - I'm taking a 4-day weekend and - perhaps - driving down to Bakersfield looking for kick-ass honkytonk music, and lots and lots of coastline... will send photos...
