Getting their start touring with the likes of Taking Back Sunday and Finch, Brand New received major label attention when Dreamworks picked up their second independent release, Deja Entendu. Brand New's 2006 album, The Devil and God are Raging Inside of Me, is a darker representation of Brand New's passionate sound, a new pinnacle in the growth and maturity of this Long Island, New York, band.

The band announced Thursday that Fred Mascherino decided to leave the group to pursue a solo career. He joins Brand New vocalist Jesse Lacey and Straylight Run's John Nolan as former Taking Back Sunday members. What is your opinion of Fred leaving TBS?
