This video summarizes the basic content of my book, which is a memoir describing my 10-year involvement in the Reverend Sun Myung Moon's Unification Church (often called the "Moonies"). During that lost decade I was deceptively recruited by people who concealed from me their connection to Moon; I was sent out to sell flowers and trinkets at all hours of the day and night to support the group; I was "matched" to a woman I did not know in an arranged marriage system in which Moon basically just selected my future spouse at random from a crowd of available believers; and I was "married" to her in a mass wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York, though I was never permitted to actually live with the woman. This is my story.
