The All-American Rejects Will Release New Record In Early Fall
The All-American Rejects have been working non-stop on their third full-length, and followup to 2005's major success, Move Along. While a title for the record is still up in the air, a release date has been finalized.

On September 16, frontman Tyson Ritter and company will offer up another helping of perfectly-crafted pop-rock tunes. The Rejects have been putting their all into the record ... cancelling dates on the Warped Tour and a Canadian tour with Simple Plan in the process. "We're still working really diligently on the new record, and it's coming along, but we're in a spot where we just can't break away from it right now, which means we gotta cancel some shows. It was a really tough decision, but it came down to potentially having to push the record back till next year, and [we] don't know about you guys, but we just can't wait that long," the band explained in a recent MySpace blog.
Back in April, Ritter revealed his dream collaboration for the new record: "Her name is Leona Lewis; an English singer-songwriter in the vein of Mariah Carey." Since then, Lewis has topped the Billboard charts with her album debut, Spirit, and continued to rule radio with her single, "Bleeding Love." It's currently unknown as to whether or not Lewis will appear on the Rejects album ... but Mr. Ritter can dream! What we do know, is that Ritter has no interest in impressing the 'scene' with the band's new record. "F--- the scene. This is going to be our official departure from the scene."As for Fall Out Boy and Paramore, he said, "They're doin' their thing. It keeps kids coming to shows. It's awesome."
The band have a few tour dates set for late summer, including a few with legendary rocker Bon Jovi!
The All-American Rejects tour dates:
7.7: Detroit, MI @ Palace of Auburn Hills (with Bon Jovi)
7.9: Boston, MA @ TD Banknorth Garden (with Bon Jovi)
7.10: Boston, MA @ TD Banknorth Garden (with Bon Jovi)
7.14: New York, NY @ Madison Square Garden (with Bon Jovi)

as long as it sounds like AAR and not some random band, i'll like it.
