I just think this is needed :) So get ready for my top ten British bands.

10) THE BEATLES- No list would be complete without them. They may not seem so rock by todays standards but they started it all off.

9) THE CLASH- Some people think the sex pistols would be the greatest english punk band but I think The Clash are much better. So many of their songs have stood the test of time and they cared more about the music then overdosing and being fucking idiots.

8) BLUR- With the likes of My Chemical Romance covering a song of theirs you know they must be good. Being a kid from London they really spoke to me.

7) FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND- Personally I don't like their latest album but the others are simply amazing with some of the most amazing and direct lyrics I have ever heard.

6) THE WHO- My Generation, that says it all. Responsible for crazy stage antics and really first started the idea of a proper "show". Feel good songs which never fail to get you happy.

5) BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE- Glorious guitars accompanied perfectly by Matt Tuck's voice. They never cease to amaze me.

4) OASIS- The Britpop revolution. Dont look back in anger has to be one of the best songs ever writting. They've been around for over a decade and I have loved them since I was a tiny girl seeing the wonderwall video for the first time :)

3) LOSTPROFITS- Love or hate Ian Watkins you cannot deny this bands talent. They have evolved from a rap/metal band from their first album to rock on their third and have been great at both and everything inbetween.

2) THE KLAXONS- They won the Mercury prize and fucking deserved it. They have a different difinitive sound, they stand out and that is something that doesnt happen in the industry often. Their songs just make you want to dance :)

1) ENTER SHIKARI- Amazing album and amazing live. They too are different, they have s definitive sound and the mix of rock/techno is so sweet sounding in your ears.
