Hey Gloria, Are You Standing Close To The Edge?

Been a longgg time since I've updated.
Kind of been putting it off for for a few days haha.
I'm just sitting here in black sweatpants and a leopard print tank top that I got for cheap and a towel around my head.
I just put a hot pink streak in my hair. First time trying to dye my hair on my own and I think it turned out pretty well. I hope my mom doesn't see it, haha.. but I have ways of hiding it.. so shh. :o
I was kind of planning on doing it for awhile, but I decided to do it after I saw Whip It and the random colors in the girls' hair.
Of course I've seen a ton of girls put pink in their hair.. so I'm aware that I'm terribly unoriginal.. but pink was the only color dye I had haha.
When I get older I want really long, dark purple hair with blond highlights. :]

Ahhh since its been like a month since I updated I must rack my memory to remember all that's been going on..

Just getting back into a school schedule.. maybe. I've been waking up an hour late every day and still managing to get ready in a half hour. I didn't do a whole lot of intricate make up during the summer, so for the first few weeks my make up was shit. Luckily I am getting good again. :] Today was the first time in weeks that I actually got up on time, and so I got to spend a half hour on my make up, which turned out awesome I'm pleased to sayyy.

A few weeks ago I went to New York City with Justin and his youth group. It had been the first time I'd been to NYC for 4 years. It was fun besides the fact that my Hello Kitty umbrella broke and I got downpoured on and ended up looking like a hobo by the end of it haha.
Luckily, partially through being downpoured on we went into the great toystore: FAO Schwarz. There were racks of Uglydolls; I was in love.
I'm actually going back to NYC, somewhat for a late birthday trip, in November. I'm definitely hitting FAO Schwarz and getting an Uglydoll or two.
I also want to hit the Sanrio store, and also get a "I <3 NY" shirt that I can rip up.
This is just one of the many pictures I took of Times Square:

Speaking of, my birthday was on Friday! I didn't really do anything too special yet, but I went to Rachel's creperie [favorite place to eat, ever!] in the city and got a banana and walnut crepe with whipped cream and maple syrup. Mmmm amazing. <3
When I got home I watched Slumdog Millionaire with my parents. Really good movie, and I actually really like the soundtrack, too. Its kind of embedded into my mind after my art teacher last year played it over and over in class. Never a bad thing, I always liked it haha.
From my parents I got 4 CDs: Crash Love by AFI, 21st Century Breakdown by Green Day, Rise or Die Trying by Four Year Strong, and For Those Who Have Heart by A Day To Remember. After years, AFI and Green Day are still 2 of my favorite bands, and these are their new CDs! so naturally I'm listening a lot to them.
Next week I suppose is when I really will be celebrating my birthday. I'm having a little get together at my house. I thought more people were going to come.. which apparently isn't the case because a lot of people are busy. Disappointinggg. :[ I don't actually throw a lot of parties so I'd have no idea what to do, haha. I'm hoping that Ashley and Paul can come over early and help me make my cake. Its going to have Hello Kitty on it. :] And by help, I mean watch, because I can't bake..

Saturday is when Ashley and I went to see Whip It. We stopped at Sally's Beaty Supply beforehand to look at extensions. I also bought glitter and false eyelashes. <3 She knit me a hat and a scarf for my birthday!
On Sunday I went to Field of Screams with Paul. He had 2 free tickets for everything. Last year when I went I was honestly terrified because I am scared of those things and I am easily scared, haha. But since he works there and isn't scared of anything there.. he actually made it much more entertaining than scary.. Though he still said I was "terrified." I would not call it "terrified." :P haha.

I am still working on clothes!! Currently still working on that jacket.. but next I'm going to start a black dress with a giant bow on it soon. Should be extremely cute. I really really need to start posting pictures of the clothes I've been making.

Very random picture I took of my Gloomy Bear pillow in me and Lauren's room while in Myrtle Beach in July.
Sometimes when I am really bored I let my camera randomly focus for like 5 minutes, and this is the result. Haha.

This week is supposedly "Spirit Week" at school and tomorrow is retro day. I think I should dress normal because I think half the time I dress retro anyway.
