I gotta tell this, you're so lucky... Last 2 passages of this journal are enough to make me cry.

warped tour, hear me roar!
Hello once again, Buzznet. It's 1:21 AM here in Virginia, The Venture Brothers are on my TV, I'm listening to Scary Kids Scaring Kids, I'm photoshopping a picture, and i need to go to the bathroom quite badly. A lot is going on in the early hours of today.
So this weekend I plan to go up to Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey. Reason being, I'm staying with my best friend for a week to go to Warped Tour. Which I can NOT wait for. Warped Tour gets me more excited than Christmas does. haha. I just love the fact that so many AMAZING bands get together to do Warped. I've been going for 3 years, this year will be my fourth in a row, and I have yet to get tired of it. Who can't?
I've been thinking recently. I've been reading all these interviews, and stories about Warped bands. I myself have been wanting to be in a band since I was...probably 9? maybe 10? I've never had the patients to learn how to play a instrument, I did try learning to play guitar a few years back. I was inspired to do so from the UK band "Gorillaz" They were probably my first loves of the music world. I never had seen anything like it. I'm pretty sure it was 2001 when my dad was flipping through music channels, and I saw a cartoon on MTV. I told him to go back and it ended up being the music video for "Clint Eastwood" I was so...amazed. I was 8 years old, I was intrigued by anything that involved animation. But singing? Playing instruments? no. impossible! After they came out with Demon Days though, I told my dad i wanted to learn to play guitar. I took lessons, but i never really got into it. Plus, my fingers were way too small and chubby to play chords right. About a year or so ago, I wanted to start learning how to play bass. Many, many people got me interested playing in bass. But not just the fact of that, but the sound...I LOVE. The deepness of it just makes me love it even more. 4 strings. I found it to probably be the best instrument for me to play. I can't play drums because i can't multitask on the bass drum, snare, symbol. all of it. Can't do it. Keyboard, i haven't got a clue how to play piano. Guitar, already states. and singing, obviously, i can't do it. or at least i think i can't. i'm sure other people think so too. So bass, probably the best thing for my hands, arms, and mind itself. haha. I recently got a bass, and have already learned whole songs. To name a few, "Count 'em one, two, three" by The Maine, "Hello, Astronaut" by Oceana, "Star Crossed" by Scary Kids Scaring Kids, and "Tiffany Blews" by Fall Out Boy. They're ameture songs, but what? I am an ameture. :|
WOW, i totally got off topic there. What i was saying though...all these stories from band members about their warped expirences just...amaze me. I couldn't imagine having so much fun. Traveling with a ton of awesome people...including some of your best friends. Playing music. Meeting fans. Walking around in heat at over 50 venues. Seeing some of your favorite bands play. And most importantly, doing what you love. Playing music for people who enjoy it. I couldn't imagine. So that, is what's inspiring me the most to learn how to play bass quite well, form a band, and try to make it my goal to be on Warped Tour. god, i'm getting all excited just thinking about it. haha.
I myself though, got my ticket for Warped Tour. VIP BABY. I've never had a VIP pass, but i'm quite excited to get to the front of the line and go to where the busses are. Possibly eat bbq with the bands? I don't know if they're going to be doing the BBQ since there's a Denny's All Nighter going on up in Camden, NJ. We'll just have to wait and see though. haha.
anyways, I hope all of you who have gone, and/or going to warped tour have/had an AMAZING time. i love warped, it's the thing i look forward to most every year. spending it with my best friend makes it even better. :)
