TV: Back in the Day - Pound Puppies

I'm not going to lie.  I owned a few Pound Puppies.  In fact, I even had a pound puppy watch.  However, so did almost every other child in 1985.

Pound Puppies were plush stuffed dog dolls that were a spin-off of Cabbage Patch Dolls.  There were different color Puppies to chose from and each came with adoption papers.

Pound Puppies were so successful that in 1985, Hanna-Barbera turned it into an animated series, in 1988, a Pound Puppies movie was released and a line of plush stuffed cat dolls were created called Pound Purries.

Here are some Pound Puppies videos from the 80's.
