the past weeks of my life..

i left buzznetland for a while. now im back. this is what i did then:

We got a new puppy. Her name is Bagheera, yes like the black panther in the Jungle Book, why? because she's black!!! damn im so clever.

this was her first day at the beach, you can tell my brother is excited because we have 2 other dogs and they both HATE water but she loves it! :D

Now. Science fair. There is an annual science fair organized by the UNAM, THE most important university in latin america and guess what? our project about seaturtles was a finalist, that means it was chosen among many others projects from all over the country. why? Let's face it, seaturtles are bad ass. BUT since the fair was CANCELLED due to the epidemy alert we didnt even get the chance to compete. And there goes my last chance to win this shit. THANK YOU SWINE FLU.

On April we have this thing.. erm Holy Week? i don't know it has something to do with religion and im not very religious, the point is some local artist always make sand sculptures based on the current holiday or something like that.. i think it's pretty cool.

Last days of school high school.

i didn't pay much attention in english class, because i know talk english yes? pollito-chicken, gallina-hen, lapiz-pencil y pluma-pen.

On may 10th we took flowers for my greatgrandmother to the Panteon because
of Mother's Day. Small town's graveyards in Mexico are a mess, but they have their own charm i guess. i like them.

i took some flower photos while i explored my grandma's garden :)

and i spied and outdoor bathroom in the roof of the house across the street... interesting location.

Of course school was a bitch towards the end but not everything was work..

..i had fun times too. Me and my classmates went to this park one day after school and played and have fun like little children. It was really cool cause we all got to hang out together and forget about school, at least for a while.

Here in Mexico we don't exactly have a prom, you know the dance and stuff SSOOOO we, well my friends..erm.. well someone decided we were having a graduation dinner/party and we, well my friends chosed this fancy restaurant with a pretty nice view.

the best part is that we got a ride in.. one of those things, i don't know what they're called in english.. maybe i should've paid more attention in english class...

More beach, because i like it... that was such a nice day. i ate ice cream.

i've been taking walks to clear my head and relax in order to recover my face, i've seen many squirrels but this one was nice enough to let me snap a shot before running away as if i was trying to steal her nuts.

Last Saturday i went to a golf match, oddly enough i don't like golf, but my dad got tickets and it was a big match because both golfist are important in this sport and bla bla bleh. Lorena Ochoa (Mexico) Vs. Paula Creamer (U.S.), red and pink respectively. One thing i learned that day is that GOLF IS BORING.

i 'adopted' an Iguana too. i was stalking her/him this morning and i decided to invite her/him to live here and i gave her/him a banana. She/He ate it, that means she/he's mine now. But since im a really cool owner i wont cage her/him and she/he will be able to come and go freely as long as she/he stills eats my bananas.

I've been waiting for rain for a while now. Mother nature pleased me with a soon-to-be-huracan Tropical Storm. thank you mother nature. thank you.

And that's it so far, here in Samanthopolis.

Probably because once you've been in school and learning your native language for 13 years, they start to teach you the same grammar rules over and over for three years.

Esa es la mejor manera de aprender un nuevo idioma :D
